What makes this series very interesting is they failed to shield their children from their adult problems.Normally,…
If they do get divorced, the children will more likely think their mother wants to abandon them, or their mother doesn't care. They will fail to understand the true reason why their mother pushed for a divorce.
And what if their mother got involved with another man? In this case, a fellow doctor? More likely they will start to think that their mother was also having an affair, and took the opportunity to push for a divorce.
If they successfully shielded their children, the children would not have expectations, or their own assumptions and conclusions. They won't have time to interpret things correctly or incorrectly, as they will still be trying to accept their new situation.
But because they failed in shielding them… they have plenty of time to make their own assumptions and decisions.
At this stage, no matter if they go through the divorce or not, they will definitely hurt their children in so many ways.
Let's be honest with ourselves, we were all once teenagers, and when we reached the age of 30, we realised how foolish our thoughts and assumptions were about adults when we were teenagers.
What makes this series very interesting is they failed to shield their children from their adult problems.
Normally, and the obvious course to take, is to divorce. Why? What used is it to stay together when the family is already broken? The children will notice it anyway, and will get confused. The children will definitely take sides, they may or may not show it, but its effect is far worse.
But, in this series, they failed to shield their children. Children who shouldn't care about their adult problems are taking and doing things they shouldn't even do. The kid requesting favours to the mistress, that's not what a child should be doing. The step-sisters fighting each other, even hurting each other.
Once the children gets involved, it make things more complicated than it already is. Example, they don't want their parents to divorce, but their mother has decided to do it.
I especially love how he cried after, because that's exactly how someone in the same position as him would release all their emotions.
1. He was all bravado. “I'm going to save everyone, I don't care what happens to me.” 2. Collapse 3. Damage nerves. 4. Realizing you may not be able to do what you love to do 5. Removal process, and total fear. Yet you still forced yourself to hold on and endure the massive pain. 6. Once removed, your mind starts racing:
a. “I almost died” b. “I did this to save lives and I almost died” c. “I may not be able to continue my profession” d. “Sh*t, I survive that!” e. “NO F**K! I AM ALIVE!” f. “What in the world am I doing here in the first place!”
He perfectly portrayed it all when he cried after he was pulled.
There's that human being that he bottled up in Season 02.
There's that little boy that his mother misses.
I was like, “if you don't cry like this, you don't understand your scene”, and I was glad he did because it meant he understood the entire scenario he was portraying.
I felt bad for Woo Jin screaming like that, this is AHS best role imo so far.
Yeah!

Contrary to popular opinion, Season 3 definitely deserves 100 out of 10 stars!---See inside for more.---That's…
1. For someone who isn't interested in people and strangers, he sure has big ears for relationship updates. LMAO!
2. I feel you, Dr. Areum. I've been there too. For an autistic like, who according to “experts” have no empathy and feelings and is supposedly dense, my Neurotypical ex-girlfriend is like Nurse Eun Tak. Too dense. Making stupid excuses. And… a complete fool.
Yep. Get mad at him! He deserves it! All people like him don't deserve our love!
3. It is very easy to hate the Assemblywoman. But, at the end of the day, we have to understand where she is coming from.
Here in the Philippines, we call it “hugot”. It literally means “pull”, but in this context, it translates to something like “deep source about something”. And this is what the Assembywoman was going through, the death of her son.
Let's be honest with ourselves here, it is NEVER right for children to die before their parents. Every religion believes that. Even those who don't believe in religion agrees.
That is the “hugot” of the Assemblywoman. It wasn't so much about neglect that is bothering her, it is because her only child died before her. She is just using their neglect and the budget as a way to channel all of it.
She was even willing to sacrifice her right foot because her “hugot” is so intense. Who wouldn't? Your child died before you. That will never ever be right.
So, again, it is very easy to hate her, but we have to understand where she is coming from.
==> She experienced the worst thing any decent human being should never experience. <==
And that brings us to:
4. Father Cha.
They finally revealed why he is acting the way he acted. He had a very bad experience already. I don't think it has to do with his son (Season 2), it was probably something worse, where he was directly involved or someone he respected, or his junior.
Something happened in the past, they got sued to the ends of the earth, and someone who doesn't deserve to be sued probably lost their license and later committed suicide.
It probably changed Daddy Cha. He vowed to never let it happen again. So, today, we are seeing this version of him that even his daughter has never seen. He will protect the hospital and he will protect the doctors.
He did not even care about what Woo Jin did with his son. He did not even care about what Woo Jin to his senior. He judged Woo Jin based on his skills as a doctor, period.
That tells us that Daddy Cha is a reasonable person, and doesn't get himself involved in stupid politics like in Season 01 and Season 02.
We go back to what I already said before, Daddy Cha is the polar opposite of Master Kim. They have the same values and principles at the end of the day, they just differ on how they approach it, how they make decisions, and how they want to achieve their goals.
They are like the North and South Poles. One is moving counter-clockwise, the other clockwise. Polar opposites. But have the same goal and purpose in life.
Why are they trying to kill Woojin in this season? I SWEAR, WRITERS, YOU BETTER NOT!!
No. They want us to show what kind of character Woo Jin has become. And this is what Master Kim is worried about.
The very reason Master Kim want his rival to be the head of the Trauma Center is for them all to learn to be responsible. Especially for Woo Jin, who only makes a decision for himself, forgetting that people will blindly follow him because they trust him.
This is a lesson Woo Jin needs to learn, and the writer is showing that, not trying to kill him.
Dayum u writters y u wanna kill or hurt seo woo ji so bad. I mean i get it but isn't he had so much pain already…
No. They want us to show what kind of character Woo Jin has become. And this is what Master Kim is worried about.

I already said last week but writer is trying to kill seo wojin this season.

In my opinion trading life for a life is really cruel and unfair.....For ex. A soldier is sent out to rescue a…
Actually, none of it matters because Woo Jin violated the rules.
1. Emergency / first-aid is done outside, on a safe zone.
2. The priority to get the survivors out. This is the area of the rescuers, not the doctors/nurses.
In other words, Woo Jin is not trading is life for a life. He not only put his life in danger, but also the other kid, as well as, the nurse and the other rescuer.
Imagine if he did not intervene. They could have had cleared everyone out with the time they wasted on doing an emergency first aid to the teacher.
OR, if Woo Jin really insist on it, they should've gotten everyone out first before letting him down there.
The protocols are there for a reason.
So, even if he dies and the teacher lives, Woo Jin chose to disobey the protocols. The teacher will live as a hero, Woo Jin won't because he violated the protocols.
AND this is the exact point of Season 03, Master Kim is teaching them about themselves, their team, and how to make decisions on their own. BECAUSE they started to rely on him too much.
The time will come when he will no longer be with them. And by the looks of it, they Woo Jin won't even survive without Master Kim.
And Woo Jin needs to learn that the people around him believes in him and will follow him, without regard to themselves, like Nurse Eun Tak. This is the other lesson Woo Jin needs to learn. When he makes a decision, it is not just about him, it is about the people around him as well.
This is what Season 03 is about. Teaching them all to stand on their own and be responsible, because sooner or later, Master Kim won't be there for them. He is not god after all.
Is it only me or does it feel like they kind of are running out of ideas? I agree this season feels really underwhelming…
Just you. :p Hehe.
The reason for that is because you are expecting the same formula as Season 01 and Season 02. But you see, Season 03 is different.
Because of the pandemic, the plot of Season 03 changed from simply opening a trauma center, to something more serious: the reality of life.
Instead of giving us the Season 01 and Season 02 formula of pure fiction where most doctors are evil and out to make money, Season 03 is showing us that doctors are real people and the things they face and handle are true-to-life.
It is no longer about some antagonist out to get the protagonist. It is not about the reality.
And this is confusing you.
You are expecting another ER/OR fantasy but Season 03 is no longer that. They decided to send a message to their fans that “hey, we are living in an age where anything and everything can happen at any moment, and we can only prepare for it this much. To help us, we need to anticipate the worst things, and to know our advance planning works, we have to experience it.”
I for one love Season 03 far more than Season 01 and Season 02 combined.
maybe it's just me, but this season has been really underwhelming and kind of flat for me

There are people like that. His type is the easiest to spot if you've experienced it already. Or, you know someone who did.
First clue, the way they speak, the words they use. It's always “me, I, and myself”, or to put it another way, they are always the center.
It is not something that can be easily changed, especially since most of the time people who are like him were either raised that way, or grew up in a broken family and simply copied what they saw.
It's why it is always important to listen when you're playing the dating game. Unfortunately, when we are in love with someone, we naturally dismiss these things. Once we break up, that is when we start to acknowledge these.
He even confronted the ML. While his logic is correct, the fact that he confronted the ML was itself a sign he never changed.
You see, if he did change, he doesn't have to build fences around Bo Ra because he knew just being his new self will win her over, fair and square. But he himself knew he never changed. He knew he wouldn't win Bo Ra over while there is competition. He has to strike low to win.
Unfortunately for him, Bo Ra has already woken up at that point. He was too late. If he did that earlier, he still would have at least a 50% chance.
And what if their mother got involved with another man? In this case, a fellow doctor? More likely they will start to think that their mother was also having an affair, and took the opportunity to push for a divorce.

What I haven't heard about is the other previous actors.
1. He was all bravado. “I'm going to save everyone, I don't care what happens to me.”
2. Collapse
3. Damage nerves.
4. Realizing you may not be able to do what you love to do
5. Removal process, and total fear. Yet you still forced yourself to hold on and endure the massive pain.
6. Once removed, your mind starts racing:
a. “I almost died”
b. “I did this to save lives and I almost died”
c. “I may not be able to continue my profession”
d. “Sh*t, I survive that!”
e. “NO F**K! I AM ALIVE!”
Give him the best actor award.

That's why I said Season 03 is by far the best, surpassing Season 01 and Season 02 combined.

It's called character development and plot.
