Exactly! Great point! They literally have character, as any real person.

Now that you mentioned that meat and blender, I also had a thought if that meat was… you know… the other 6.

The writer and director are superb for giving us those vibes for a character meant for one episode only.

This show deserves to have 50+ episodes, 60 minutes each, like the classics Jumong, Jewel in the Palace, and Dong Yi.

It focuses on the characters and the values they believe in and learn. Politics only takes second, only a plot device. That's what makes it very appealing, and why it left the competition.

(We're not counting historical comedies, be it light or dark, since there's no comedy in this show despite the "official" tagging in Korean media and everywhere else.)

ikr! They should so s2 aswell.
Yep, it has great potential for two more sequels.

I hope Netflix will order two seasons more while they still have time to adjust season 1.

It's already episode 10, and we're still at that plot. The pace of the story is starting to give me the vibe of reading a novel. Something like:

Book 1: The Crown Prince
Book 2: The Rebellion
Book 3: The New King

I love it. And I hope they won't suddenly jump and fit in “Books 2 and 3”. Which is, unfortunately, the trend in Korean dramas… episodes 1-12 slow pace. episodes 13 to 16 rush to the ending.

Yeah. They did well in building up the character. He does look like psychotic though. The way he laughs, his crazy way of conversation.

It's okay, it is confusing. ^_^

I have to write notes which week is which episode in my tracker because I kept on thinking "I'm one episode behind?!"

Yeah, if that's the subtle message behind the first criminal, that's one major heavy deep premier episode! Even crazier! I mean, audiences are not prepared for that at the first episode.

If that boiling water shows up again in the latter episodes, that would be epic. ROFL.

The mystery of the boiling water.

Why is it only one episode a week
It's two episodes per week. It's schedule is Friday and Saturday.

The time slot it took over was from One Dollar Lawyer. ODL finished on Friday, so TFR can only show one episode (which as Saturday).

Ep2 and 3 will air this coming Friday and Saturday.

It was a fantastic first episode but I noticed some flaws😅 About the serial killer, I don't understand how…
As for the phone, I think he is not a professional killer.

His background is he was in charge of ending the lives of animals, and he said that humans are just the same.

It can mean that he's looking down on humans.

Also, he seemed to be finding enjoyment, so he dragged it on without realizing what's happening.

Oh, one more reason he's not a professional, he thought that he wouldn't get caught because he got away with killing 6 others. A professional wouldn't assume that. There will always be back up plans, escape routes, and they wouldn't drag it on. ANd yeah, pros would destroy the phone.

Re: boiling water. It was just a misdirection. To build up the scenes, make the audience speculate, and during the fight scene to make the audience gasp.

Honestly, that was the craziest misdirection I've seen. It was so simple yet very effective. It was so obvious yet it worked really well.
