lol really to that extent?? it ruined the whole drama for you!! For me i don't see it was out of nowhere since…
Kang is distracted because he's in love. People who are deeply in love, especially those too afraid to confess, act that way … out-of-focus, distracted, their minds are always wondering, and so on.
This is based on Marco Polo Bridge Incident in 1937 right?which start the Second Sino-Japanese War?The Second…
Not exactly. The "Lugou Bridge Incident" happened sometime in July, The "Defense of Sihang Warehouse" happened in October to November.
The much larger conflict, the "Battle of Shanghai" happened from August 13 to November 26. It was one of the largest and bloodiest front in the entire "Second Sino-Japanese War".
It is also considered as the actual date World War II started in Asia-Pacific. In some circles, WW2 in Asia-Pacific started all the way back in the Manchurian Incident (Japan) / September 18 Incident (China) in 1931.
How was a historical war a "chinese propaganda"? As a distant relative of Commander Xie, we are deeply insulted that his effort was simply dismissed as "chinese propaganda".
the weird thing is it says most viewers are age 13-17
Yep. And I don't understand what satisfaction they get from doing that … especially here in MDL when practically no one reports the ratings here in any website or social media/network … the only ones who sees it are MDL users.
the weird thing is it says most viewers are age 13-17
Never trust the MDL ratings. There are groups and individuals with multiple accounts. They use it to destroy the ratings of a show if they don't like it.
It's also cool to see what the work environment is in a place surrounded by rural towns, especially in SoKor.
What's more interesting is the work they depicted in the show is an outsourcing company, a contact center at that.
I can't believe there are companies who goes all the way to assigning your "lunch buddies". In the Philippines, it ends in break scheduling, whoever you want to eat lunch with is your freedom of choice.
It's very rare to see a TV series about real rural life. How slow it is, how neighbourhood work is pretty much the same day in and day out, the travel distance and when you don't make it in time for the one lone service, you'll have to walk.
It's a simple life. Probably boring for most, and too repetitive. But for me, as someone who was born, grew up, lived, worked, in a highly urbanized region, it's a life I want to spend the rest of life in.
Btw, in which episodes when the ghost said "Time Doesnt Flow". I wanna check the scene again.
I think it was episode 5 or 6, after she was captured and under drugs. Eo Jin asked her a lot of things, in one the Ghost answered "time doesn't flow" and Eo Jin reacted as if he understood the ramifications of her revelations.
After that, the series moved on and did not expound on it further.
So, for now, we're stuck with real-world theories based on that very concept "time doesn't flow".
Hopefully, in the last two episodes it will be revealed.
Episode 8 notes (no analysis)May 18, 1997 (from episode 7):- ML to the janitor: "Why does this always happen when…
What Bai Ying Hua said.
I think everyone did think the ML was the janitor's son until they revealed that he is not. So, yeah, we're all confused/surprised about it.
1. The ML is the son of Dr. Kwon, the first one to die in May 1997 when the Ghost appeared.
- It is not yet clear why Dr. Kwon needs to die, however, the ML also realised that no matter what, his father will always die on that day of May 1997, otherwise the Grid won't be installed.
- The ML, as of episode 8, accepted that his father dying is a "fixed time" for the Grid to exist. Again, this is not clear yet why there is a trade-off like that. But one thing is for sure now, the Grid exists _not only_ because of the Ghost but also because Dr. Kwon has to die.
2. Man Ok, the murderer, is the son of the janitor who the Ghost burnt.
- If she doesn't kill Man Ok's father, for some not-yet-revealed reason, the Ghost disappears "as a time traveler" (we do not know yet if she is not born or her life's path changes).
- As far as the Ghost is concerned, she needs to exist as a time traveler for the Grid to exist, and for that to happen, she needs to kill Man Ok's father (the janitor).
Again, quoting myself: You are still thinking linearly when the show already explained that "time does not flow".
That explains why he doesn't remember anything in both cases: (1) no grid, when his parents built a pharma research company; and (2) meeting himself.
He doesn't even remember his mother did not get sick in episode 8, he was very very cautious when he entered his parents' home.
There is nothing illogical as long as you understand what "time does not flow" means. You can go read up different __real-world__ theories about "Static Time". That will solve all your confusion.
The only time things will be "illogical" is when the last two episodes contradicts the shows own statement that "time does not flow".
>> You stuck with the phrase that time doesn't flow
== Because that's what it is. You can not force your own understanding into someone else's creative work. You have to approach from the mindset of the author, and to do that, you have to understand what could have had influence the author.
We are at episode 8, and the show itself made a statement already "time does not flow", it should be very obvious by now which __real-world__ theories and philosophies about time the author was influenced and used.
The RM team doesn't reveal their identities. The only case that I remember that the suicide case had some idea was the girl who jumped from a building and the FL teleported to catch her.
They never explained that but the girl probably thought of her as an angel (reaper or not) and was more than grateful that she kept quiet about it.
In any case, no one would believe them so they'll keep quiet about it. Even if they create a club or something, they'll just be dismissed as nutheads.
So here goes:
Tangled (2010)
Frozen (2013)
Maleficent (2014)
Into the Woods (2014)
Cinderella (2015)
Aladdin (2019)

I also love how they used Quando, Quando, Quando in episode 1. It was simply perfect.

Do not try to fit a square in a circular hole.
