'saved' as in the suicide cases? nope.
Nope. The RM Team never reveals their identities.

The one time they did reveal is that girl who jumped from the roof and the FL teleported to catch her.

It was never explained if she remembers or she simply considered her a "guardian angel".

In any case, it is against the rules to reveal who they actually are. This is why when they are on a suicide case, they pretend to be living humans, even take on "jobs" so no one would suspect them and they can get near their target.

Maybe that will change in the next episodes, especially with the ML being unpredictable … sooner or later their identities will be exposed.

Tips:

1. Stop thinking about the "many-worlds interpretation" theory -- a.k.a. timelines / parallel timelines / parallel worlds (it's all the same).

== a. proof this is not the case: the time travelers can reset events

== b. the May 18, 1997 event kept on changing by itself even without intervention (see episode 8 comment of ML how things happened differently)

== c. under the MWI theory, going back to the exact point in time, or earlier, would mean you will see multiple versions of yourself time traveling to that period. We do not see this happening in this show.

2. The show itself already explained that "time does not flow". There are different theories about "time does not flow":

This is the key "time does not flow". If time does not flow then (1) there is no "timeline"; and (2) there are no timeline branches.

Let's wait for the last two episodes to explain what exactly they mean by "time does not flow".

But if you are looking for a real-world theory, to mention a few, we have the:

- Block universe theory / eternalism (past, present, future all ___already___ exists simultaneously; a.k.a. there is only "now")

- Growing block universe theory (past and present ___already___ exists simultaneously but the future is yet to exist)

- Presentism (there is no past or future, there is only "present")

- Time is just an illusion by theoretical physicist Carlo Rovelli in his book "The Order of Time" where he explained that … well … time is just an illusion. = in other words, there is no time, there is no past, present, and future, there is no "now". Time does not flow because it does not exist.

He is not his younger self.
The scene on the sidewalk? That was ML's younger self. Listen to the dialogue. ^_^

Secondly, him not remembering things was already hinted in Episode 7. In the "no grid reality", he never have any memories of the world where the solar flare burned people. He did not even know his parents built a biological company to help find medicine and cure for the ailments caused by the flare.

You are still thinking linearly when the show already explained that "time does not flow". This show is not using the many-worlds interpretation.

It was again proven in episode 8 when the ML returned to May 18, 1997 again and noticed how all things changed -- for example, the Ghost pulled his father's body inside the room -- that was not the original. The janitor taking his child out immediately instead of "checking" the corridors first -- if the ML did not intervene, the janitor and kid would've left the building earlier and the Ghost would, again, disappear because without the Grid, there is no time traveling Ghost.

The founder of Grid is the Ghost or Dr. Kwon, Sae Ha's father??
The creator of the Grist is the Ghost, there is no doubt about that.

However, in the new reality, it was probably posthumously credited to ML's father in 2005 out-of-respect to his mother who the harassed and stalked since the incident in 1997.

That harassment/stalking did not happen in the first reality, so there was no reason to incorrectly credit The Grid to someone else.

It was not because they have to "hide" it. In the first reality, the public doesn't know anything about the Ghost, all they know was the Grid was created by all the rich nations of the world.

1. Remember Eo Jin, ex-husband was the one died in bomb explosion. Sae Ha and Sae Byoek did time-travel to save…
They are still looking for "The Ghost" but not "The Founder".

The Grid team is looking for "The Founder" while the other team is looking for "The Ghost".

In the first reality, they only have a theory that The Ghost and The Founder are one and the same, however, there are people in the AB that doesn't believe it.

In the new reality, the AB is only looking for "The Ghost" because "The Founder" was incorrectly credited to ML's father.

Although I think the AB is still looking for The Founder. The ML's father was credited as the founder of the grid as a posthumous title/award/recognition out-of-respect to his mother who they harassed/stalked. So, in 2005, 8 years after, they made peace with the Kwon family.

But secretly, inside the AB, they are probably still looking for The Founder … who happens to be The Ghost too.

Ok, at this point i really want to stop racking my but head not able to . I have so many questions......let me…
>> 1. Why is it only Sae Ha and Sae Byoek remember about the time since the capture of the ghost in the last attempt? I can understand Sae Ha , but why Sae Byeok and not her ex-husband?

== The time travel technology has the capability to bring other people with the controller/user as long as they are touching the people they want to bring with them.

== The ML and the FL were thrown to the Ghost by the blast, and the Ghost decided to bring them with her too.

== So, when she returned to the time period before Man Ok ("past 2021") escaped the underground tunnel, the ML and FL returned as well. This is why they remember the "future 2021".

>> 2. Ok, now the creator of the grid has changed from the ghost to Sae ha's dad? then why is administrative office still looking for the ghost? I mean, earlier it was established that ghost created the grid, but now not anymore, then why are they still looking for her?

== Because the Ghost is still a suspect for the murders.

== Also, they figured out she's using a time travel device and they want it (just like how they revealed in episode 6 or 7 they want her technology).

>> 3. Before Sae Ha did time traveling , his last name was Kim Sae Ha, now its Kwon Sae Ha, how? I used to think he is the adoptive son of the janitor, but its clear now that he is the researcher's son, then why was it Kim before?

== He probably changed his name in the first reality because he had an agenda -- to use the time travel device for himself.

== In the new reality, he also made sure his mother won't get sick, and then his father was (incorrectly) credited for the creation of the Grid. No more reason to hide his true identity.

Episode 8 notes (no analysis)Sorry, no analysis. Episode 8 is pretty much linear. As far as time travel is concerned,…
Episode 8 notes (no analysis)

May 18, 1997 (from episode 7):
- ML to the janitor: "Why does this always happen when you live?"
- The janitor's kid is the 2021 Man Ok (murderer)

May 18, 1997 (from episode 8):
- ML: things happened differently
- in reference to the Ghost pulling his father's body inside the room -- this was not how it's supposed to happen
- the janitor also did not went out of the room first, instead he brought his kid with him immediately
- Because of these little changes
- Ghost is dying
- ML figured it out immediately, the Ghost is related to the kid/Man Ok (murderer)
- When the kid grew up with his father, the Ghost either will never be born or her life's direction is very different
- This is why the Ghost have to kill the janitor, so she will continue to exist

2000
- ML said blue light when it's green -- effects of time travel that he did not know yet?

2021
- ML returned to the exact moment he left (although not exactly the same reality)
- he returned the time travel devices to the Ghost
- Ghost did a time reset

2021 reset: went back to an earlier point in 2021
- reset: the day the Man Ok (murderer) was discovered imprisoned in an underground tunnel
- Man Ok killed the janitress?
- FL: "why does someone had to die every time I save someone?"
- his mother is no longer sick (because of what the ML did before he returned to his own time; see above)
- 2005 hero of the world awarded to the ML's father
- The Grid was incorrectly credited to the ML's father
- this means (the ML also realized this) the Admin is no longer looking for "The Founder"
- this also means the hunt for the Ghost is for the murders in May 18, 1997 not because she's "The Founder"
- Even though the Ghost already knew the Man Ok would be discovered or escape, she did nothing
- Later, the Ghost was having second thoughts if she'll reset time, eventually decided to keep things as it is
- Man Ok started to remember things
1. from 1998
2. the Ghost appeared behind the janitress before she died
- The Ghost probably wanted to know how things will happen if she let it be, since she can reset time anyway.
- then later she had second thoughts if she'll reset time … eventually deciding against it (same as earlier)

Dilemma: if the father (janitor) of Man Ok doesn't die, the Ghost would either not be born or her life path would change. Without the Ghost there is no Grid.
- So far, the only way for the Grid to exist is for the Ghost to exist.
- The Ghost, the Grid, the janitor, the ML, ML's father, they are all locked in a time bubble.

Title Tomorrow
This isn't an easy watch because of the subject matter.....But Rowoon is so super cute nomatter what he does!!!!!Also…
It depends.

If you look at it from an observer PoV, or from someone who wants to understand various reasons/cases of suicides, then you'll be able to watch it. There will still be some which would be a challenge especially if you can relate to the case and/or know someone who went through it, but it'll be a little easier.

However, if you watch it bringing in your emotions or subjectively, then it'll be definitely hard, a challenge even. You'll probably hate some depictions in the long run.

My suggestion is to watch it objectively. An opportunity to have an insight on suicide cases, how it was approached, addressed, and solved, how it could go wrong (saying the wrong things, for example, can only push them).

The show touches on the different sides of suicide. For example, the Escort Team leader sees suicide as murder, the most heinous crime of all -- which is what majority of the world population believes. While the ML and FL sees it differently. The difference between the ML and FL is how they approach it, what to say, what to do, and they are learning from each other.

I would not be surprised if they later add in religious beliefs about suicide and death.

And of course, there are also those who believe that suicide isn't murder or being a coward act, that they won't go to 'hell'. I'm not sure if you've encountered that but it is a belief that actually exists. If they'll add that in the show, it would be the RM Team challenging the authority of the Escort Team.

What's important though is knowing the different reasons behind suicide cases. It is not always about bullying, being poor, or being trampled on, like in Korea, it can also be because of the extreme demand and pressure to enter college (pass CSAT) and get a decent work -- otherwise, you're a useless member of society and is not helping the Nation.

We'll probably see cases about family issues too. Break-ups is another.

Watch it objectively, it'll be easier.

However, don't do the shows solutions on how to handle suicide cases, each suicide case is delicate and it changes a lot. It is not as simple as the show is depicting it to be.

I like the concept. It's not time travel per se but history is being changed.

What intrigues me most is that in episode 2 there were clues dropped that the ML is not the only one who "went back in time". (I'm not talking about the cliffhanger ;) )
On It's Beautiful Now Apr 10, 2022
LOLs, this is so funny.

1. Second brother is handling a divorce case wherein the husband only wanted the wife just to get his inheritance.

And the second brother is about to do exactly the same thing in episode 4.

2. Youngest brother is already doing exactly that. Hahaha.

What I love the most is the eldest brother. Him, and his soon to be girlfriend, are demonstrating how hard it is to date when you're in your 40s. You stop picking up clues, lines, you just is clueless. You no longer don't know what to say, you no longer care at all.

It is not because you do not know per se, it is because you've experienced a lot in life, you are no longer in that stage where in you try to please anyone. It is much better to be frank and honest, and not waste anyone else's time. If they get offended, that's on them. If they understood, good, we'll get along just fine.

The most I'm curious about is the eldest and youngest couples. The eldest couple because LOL, I can relate. And the youngest couple because I want to reminisce the "dating years".

I hope it gets more exciting. 50 episodes, 70 minutes each … that's A LOT.

It depends which culture, and how old you are. ;)

I'm Gen-X / Gen-Y, and I side with the three boys. Actually, in every drama, Korean or otherwise, I don't like it when your relatives dictate on what you can and can not do with your life.

- You want to be single? Go ahead.
- Your relatives setting you up for blind dates? They can go to hell.
- You want to marry this person? By all means.
- Your relatives doesn't agree with your choices? Fight back.

Your life. Your love life. Your relationships. Your career. Your business(es).

Your choice.

Alice = was based on quantum entanglement. If you are familiar with that, then Alice will be an easy watch. I…
Yep. It was a good show, it's in my to re-watch list. They also tried to explain things, both through text and like a class lesson.

I guess they just failed to explain quantum entanglement clearly which became the primary reason it suddenly received a backlash of negative ratings. But beyond that, it's good. Challenging, but definitely very good.

That was a very simple ending. Nothing grande. Nothing sweet. Just the usual … life goes on.

I think the best word is "natural". Their head-over-heels moments are long past, 1 year, it's more than enough time for their relationship to enter the mature phase. The kilig* moment is long gone, what's left is the most important of all … love.

* kilig - Philippine English
adj: Of a person: exhilarated by an exciting or romantic experience; thrilled, elated, gratified.
Causing or expressing a rush of excitement or exhilaration; thrilling, enthralling, captivating.

n: Exhilaration or elation caused by an exciting or romantic experience; an instance of this, a thrill.

* kilig moment n. a thrillingly romantic moment.
