I don't understand one thing "yeong ran" will be in contract marriage with whom ? this old man...Bkl tu…
You can get legally married but it's only on paper. You're imagining they'll sleep together that's why you can't accept it.
There are many such marriages IRL, it is called "marriage of convenience". They don't sleep together, they even have different rooms. They just want to take advantage of certain benefits that can only be afforded if you're legally married.
It is not illegal (there is no law against it) in many countries but it is not legal (no law specifically allowing it) either. If the law discovers proof it was only for convenience, the State can make reasons to annull the marriage and file a case against both parties. The couple can't even sign a contract because it is automatically invalid (in most countries, a marriage is completed after they slept together, since they did not, there's a loophole) and will only serve as evidence against them. It only works if both have deep trust.
In this story, it's a marriage of convenience. However, it's a dangerous one for the FL because they can accuse her that she tricked the chairman and killed him unless she has proof proving otherwise.
Besides, it is clear that the chairman is only after making sure his wealth doesn't go to his demonic step children.

Two months later, it's finally out!The Hooniverse wiki (훈니버스 위키) is your one-stop guide to everything…
Be sure to check it out because there are a lot of misconceptions about The Tyrant. For example, some fan theories claim it is a prequel or happened in parallel with The Witch. I searched for deeply hidden clues to prove The Tyrant happened years after The Witch Part 2. 😉
Facts! I didn't really connect with this one at all. I didn't even realise they're supposed to be in the same…
It is an independent series as per Director-Writer Park HoonJung.
Actually, nothing in The Tyrant can be tied to The Witch film series directly and as far as the story is concerned. There are some clues that they are set in the Hooniverse but you'll only see it if you're actually searching for it. Either way, it's independent.

Can someone let me know whether Yeong Rye & Jong Hui are the same age as Jae Pil & Sang Cheol - 18? Confused…
The 1FL and 2FL are atleast 20 years in Korean age (19 global age). Remember when 1FL was in a night club raid? The police officer said, "Then why did you run?" In Korea, anyone 20 years and older (Korean age) are legally adults.
Meanwhile, the 1ML and 2ML appears to be 3rd Year High School or Grade 12. So that makes them 19–20 years old in Korean age (or 18-19 in global age) by Grade 12 (19 most of their school year but 20 by graduation day).
The FLs are more likely older by 1–3 years in Korean age or 1–2 by Global age. (Additional years can be up to 2 years in Korean age.)
I think it is safe to assume that the 1ML is 20 Korean age. IIRC, he stopped by 1 year. While the 2ML is only 19 in Korean age and thus illegal for someone of legal age to have a relationship with an underage. 🤪
My mind is still with the original timeline where 1FL was the one who got into an accident. In that accident, her…
Compare that to the alternate timeline they showed us:
- the 1FL started a strike and got on their branch manager's radar - the 2FL tried to save the 1FL by stabbing the branch manager - the 2FL had to flee and hide - the 1FL and 2FL grew apart as a result - the 1FL was probably fired - the 1FL and 1ML grew closer
Wow. This is the first time I saw a drama (the genre "drama", not "drama as a TV series") did…
My mind is still with the original timeline where 1FL was the one who got into an accident.
In that accident, her life went to shambles: - they can't pay their bills and her treatment - her mother died early because of it - her brother's best friend helped financially however he was able to - her brother took on more tutoring jobs which eventually led to his capture
Meanwhile: - the 2FL and 1ML became lovers - the 2FL and 1ML got married
Thank you for this. This gives me closure so I won’t overthink the ending for the next one week…🤸🏻
Yeah, you'll lose a lot of sleep. 😅
You can twist it. It probably took him a while to travel because the torn page required the correct timing. Maybe another blood moon. So, he learned how to cook by himself.
So, when he reached the future, he at least already knows how to cook by himself.
Maybe, he also thought of securing jewels in safe place so he can dug it up in the future. Since he witnessed the magic of the book, he knew he has to prepare for the future. And the best way is to store artifacts and sell it in the future. 😁
So, when he gets there, it was easy for him to move around. LOL. He basically avoided getting locked up in an asylum. 😅
Really?According to my SIMKL account I watched 900 movies. And that is only those I remembered, not counting those…
Ok, fair enough. But most of the active ones here in MDL are younger than you and me, so it's impossible they've watch as many films like the two of us. And besides, it doesn't mean they haven't watched a reasonable amount of movies to not tell what is good and what is bad.
I do find it bad. The story is everywhere. It tried to combine aspects of Wanted, Kingsmen, John Wick, and Kill Bill, or at least was inspired by those. Because of it, there were too many elements that the story went everywhere.
Lol. That reminded me of Everywhere, Everything All At Once or something. Majority praised it but for me it was bad as well. For that one, the execution was the biggest issue not the story. For Mantis, it's the story, the acting were good.
Another example. Squid Game. It lacks depth and story. They just want to kill. But compare that to Alice in Borderland or the film franchise Battle Royale, those have depth and stories.
It's better that people are finding things good or bad for the correct reasons. It is worse if it's rated as good or bad because their fave actors are there or they have an issue with some actor. It is rare nowadays to see feedback because of the story and execution. 🖖🏽
It's not they don't have, it's because the serial killer is a copycat. It is actually common for authorities consulting…
Re: consultancy
Yep.
One other reason, it is dangerous to put ourselves into the shoes of serial killers. It has a psychological impact that builds up over time. Even actors are advised to go on a psych eval after taking such roles.
So, I guess it's also safer to just consult with them instead of asking someone to risk their mental state.
Luckily, serial killers are not common IRL, so it doesn't always happen (criminals also ask something in return).

Yes, she doesn't completely fit the psychopath category. For one, her actions were for a reason, which she said so herself too. She wasn't killing randomly.
Though at the same time, she enjoys the process. The thrill of knowing that you served justice and let the evil people suffer and seeing their faces filled with the knowledge that there's no escape from it.
She's not an easy one to fit in any category. She probably is a category of her own. Deeply scarred and wanting to vent out her deep anger that she realized, accidentally, the best to do it is by acting as justice herself.
You're right, she is like Batman. The only one willing to do what no one wants to do.
