The IQ test in E02 was so hilarious.
The easiest question in E02 was the population.

Even if you're not sure, it's easy to spot that it was a trick question. Just answer 8 billion. And if we assume that it's 2024 then yes, truly 8 billion.

Another clue, the number 8. It is a very good number. In a game setting like that, the meaning behind numbers is a potential factor. It didn't ask for the population randomly, it was there to test their intelligence.

(Yes, yes, the writer said 7.9 so they have a reason to fire 100M arrows. Hahahaha)

Actually, most of them got wrong answers it was so funny. The other players already gave the correct answer, and they still picked the wrong answer. One player even reasoned, "I picked the middle number!" Like, LOLWTFBBQ?!! Majority said the same answer, only a few said the other answer. So the player picked the "middle". 🤪

I can't stop laughing during that shrine IQ test.

But hey, in fairness, the milk question was totally a difficult one. Only farmers would know the answer to that, and those who loves to play trivia games. At least for that one the player is justified.

what do you mean collab ? like a new series similar to squid game reboot ?
In the ending of S03 they switched to the US and the final scene was a female character named "Alice".

It is not going to be a reboot, it will be a continuation or spin-off. The US teaser was directly connected to what the Watcher said about and the earthquakes.

It is different from Squid Games where the story is simply another rich guy who set up his own Squid Games.

Hello everyoneI will give you my opinionon this...I think we can all agree, that this season wasn't as good as…
Bold statement there!

> I think we can all agree, that this season wasn't as good as season 1 or 2.

I, for one, disagree. S3 was the best. It surpassed S2 and S1 combined. The games alone were amazing and thrilling. It was also more focused. Even the flow of the storytelling was woven properly from one group to the other.

And that's just the beginning of the good things about S03. 😉

Fr.. finished it and I would say I didn't hate that guy but doesn't like him too, like bro was into what?? die…
Nope. He jumped to his death.

When you die in the borderland, you go to the afterlife.

For real.. they should keep the asian shows to asia, like US can make their own show, can't they?
Nope.

What you said was this:

> For real.. they should keep the asian shows to asia, like US can make their own show, can't they?

Emphasis on "Should keep the asian shows to asia" and "US can make their own show".

What I said was to let them make a Western adaptation of Asian shows.
On Alice in Borderland Season 3 Sep 25, 2025
Non-Asians when a Western show is adapted in Asia: Hooray!
Asians when a Western show is adapted in Asia: Boo!

Non-Asians when an Asian show is adapted in the West: Boo!
Asians when an Asian show is adapted in the West: Hooray!

😆🤪

why only 6 not 8 episodes ??
The length of each episode practically gave it 10 episodes. In S1 it was 40 minutes each. IIRC, S2 had 50 to 60 each. S3 ran 75–85 from E02 to E06.

For real.. they should keep the asian shows to asia, like US can make their own show, can't they?
Nope. It's about time Asian shows are adapted in the West. We Asians have been making adaptations of Western shows since live-action films started. Don't stop us Asians from conquering the Western world.
On Alice in Borderland Season 3 Sep 25, 2025
Season 1 to Season 3. Is there anything to say about this live-action adaptation other than “it is infinitely better than «Squid Games»”?

And the S03 fan service, I love that one. Unfair but it was great. 😆

Trivia: The conference scene was probably inspired by a scene in the global hit RomCom, «Notting Hill». It was…
So for those who weren't born yet or too young to have watched it, give Notting Hill a try while My Troublesome Star is still fresh in your mind. You won't regret it.

We were only both 17 and entering our 2nd year college when we watched it in the cinema—with my Grade 9 (3rd year high school) girlfriend (we're entering our 2nd year anniversary too). It was a global romcom hit.

the room neighbour yu ran died after she met se ra, otherwise she couldn't even met her, in the 2nd accident happened…
Yes, she died after she met SeRa. But she died only after they became best friends. She also died before Episode 1.

They met when SeRa ran away from her family after she left her father and her father got into an accident. It happened months before Episode 1. She was already hiding and working at the school of her niece, and is well known there already, before her former manager found her and sent her the evidence.

Then the evidence led her to the Mayor candidate, which revealed to them that she is still alive. After she ambushed him, he ordered for her silence. This also happened before Episode 1.

Episode 1 started with her waking up at the hospital. YuRan has been dead for quite some time by Episode 1.

Q: How and why did SeRa's room neighbor die?A: She was struggling with her exams and nearly at her end before…
Nope. She did forget her 25 years due to the 2nd attempt at her life.

The third attempt restored it.

not a single kissing scene, they kind of rushed everything in the last episode, they could have shown a little…
It's a romcom, not a crime mystery. Everything about the villain are just plot devices, nothing else. 😉

I really enjoyed this one 😍❤️. They don't make this kind of kdramas nowadays 😭, I will miss this kdrama!…
Exactly the same feedback.

Trivia: The conference scene was probably inspired by a scene in the global hit RomCom, «Notting Hill». It was a 1999 film starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts.

Actually, if you think deeply about it, there were a lot of similarities between the two.

1. Both FLs are huge stars. One is trying to get some normal life, the other is trying to get back her celebrity life.
2. Both MLs were ordinary people. One was a divorced bookstore owner and the other a detective.
3. Both FLs fell in love with an ordinary guy.
4. Both MLs assumed their worlds are too far apart.

And so on.

Q: How and why did SeRa's room neighbor die?A: She was struggling with her exams and nearly at her end before…
Q: The corrupt politican and his bodyguard did not fight back?
A: Maybe they did but the evidence against them were solid.

Regardless, they are not important. They were only used as a plot device to get SeRa and the Detective together. That's their only role in the story.

Remember, this is a RomCom and not a Detective/Crime Mystery genre.

Q: What was that about the watch?
A: Just a plot device.

In creative fiction, a writer needs to use a plot device a lot to make things happen and to move things forward. It could be another character, an event, an idea, or a simple item. Plot devices generally don't need any background story or explanation. It just exist. It just so happen that way. It is up to the audience or reader to make something up for plot devices if they need one.

Even in literature fiction (books, comics, etc.), plot devices are just that. They don't need any explanation, they just exist or happened to be.

If there is a sequel, the writer cnoan reuse that plot device and elevate its importance.

For example, the blue watch was only just another blue watch in Season 1. But in Season 2 the blue watch has a deeper story and is actually connected to a cabal. The cabal had a hand on how the USB ended up in her father's DVD collection. (They never hinted how it got there.)

It's in the first two episodes. 😉
That was all there is to it. Corrupt politicans funding female celebrities so they can later trap them for sexual favours once they tasted success.

SeRa knows. So, they want her silenced permanently.

They didn't make it sound like something grand since they already told us from the beginning what it was. They revealed it in the first two episodes so it won't get in the way. It's like saying, "this is not the plot so we told you about this now".

They just used that corrupt politician as a plot device to get SeRa and the Detective together.

Okay, for those confused here is an FAQ.
Q: How and why did SeRa's room neighbor die?
A: She was struggling with her exams and nearly at her end before she met SeRa outside. SeRa unknowingly gave her some break but life still caught up.

She was already dead before the series started. SeRa was only imagining she's there.

Q: Why did they not explain why SeRa disappeared?
A: They did. Episode 11 aed 12

SeRa ran from everyone and shut herself in. She thought that the world abandoned her. In addition to that, her face was scarred which pushed her down depression.

Her depression lasted some years, it was hinted in Episode 9 or 10. Her sister took care of her, left her food she didn't eat, and so on. It was hinted in earlier episodes she used all her money. We can safely assume she fixed her face using that money instead of helping her family, hence she "transformed".

Then later, she became so obsessed with coming back after spending her money. She even left her father to chase her obsession.

Then she ran away from everyone.

Q: Why did they not explain why they tried to kill her?
A: They did. First and last 2 episodes!

The original Mayor who ordered her to be killed did so because:
1. HuiYeong told him that SeRa is going to reveal everything
2. The everything is about the secret sexual favours
3. How the Assemblyman is behind the success of ceatain celebrities and later traps them to do sexual favours by telling them he was behind their success

The current Mayor-wannabe also wants her killed because she knows and she's a ticking time bomb.

Q: Her ex-manager was helping her so why did she accuse him?
A: He was not.

He found where SeRa is hiding and sent her the USB with the recording he took 25 years ago. In that package was a business card to the location of the former Mayor's successor.

SeRa listened to the recording and followed the clues. She did not know that by revealing herself to them, she signed her own death warrant.

The successor ordered her killed. This was where E01 started.

Her former manager only used her in the hopes that the successor of the original Mayor, the one who first ordered SeRa's death, will tremble. He miscalculated that the successor is as dangeorus as his predecessor.
