She is Autistic-coded. It's not that she is acting childish, it is just her way of expressing herself. It's so…
Oh. Let's say she's not autistic-coded.

Her "childish" action could very well be because the incident when she was 19 years old scarred her. As she said, she can't sleep properly for 10 years. That trauma can leave a mental scar and slowdown, if not prevent, mental and social development.

So, there's that other explanation why she is "childish". There are two sides of her present at the same time. Her 19-year old self and her 29-year old self.

Hmm…it's like something cracked in her mental state. So while she grew up a genius and an intelligence befitting a 29-year old, everything else about her is still her 19-year old self.

They probably chose that route, or explanation, instead of autistic-coded. Which is very possible in real-life.

Of course, I'm not saying her previous roles were autistics as well. All I'm saying is that for this particular character, her type of acting fits well. (Some are saying, her acting is the same, but I don't remember her acting the same way, but let's just assume she was typecasted.)

A very good psychological thriller. (Am currently at ep 5). My only complaint is Lee Hee Joon had too little screentime,…
She is Autistic-coded. It's not that she is acting childish, it is just her way of expressing herself.

It's so hard to explain in words, especially to someone who is not autistic. (And I meant that as a fact, not an insult.)

1. She sees things most people don't see
2. She is very curious about patterns and connections
3. She thinks logically, and if something doesn't fit, she gets irritated (psychologist scene "I can't understand!")
4. She wants to understand everything and make sense of her environment
5. She states facts no matter how painful it might be to others
6. She obviously has OCD
7. She enters into a world of his own when thinking
8. She likes her noise-cancelling headphones, although she rarely uses it as an adult

№7 is a typical stereotype of autistic individuals in fiction, especially in screen fiction. Sherlock Holmes also do that, a lot, even in books. Basically, the writer wants to sends the message that the character has this ability to recreate and see things in their minds.

I myself can do that, and I'm autistic. When there's something I can't find, I enter my mind realm and recreate events. In school exams (from the 80s to 90s), it's what I did too but slightly different, which later I learned is called "Castle Memory" technique.

So, more likely than not, the actor, writer, director, or all of them, sees the character 윤이나 (Yun Ina), as someone who acts that way because she's autistic, but they don't want to add that tidbit because people get sensitive and loses focus on the plot if a character is a confirmed autistic.

I can list more traits and quirks Ina has shown and how hyper or hypo each if those are. But her being autistic or not is not the part of the plot. 😉 However, yes, it's just a screen stereotypical way if hinting that the character is autistic without actually confirming it, because non-Autistics always see Autistic people as "childish".

I doubt it's someone in the police force.

1. The premise of FL's talks is always about something that is not very obvious. Something that 99% of profilers, detectives, and the best minds, dismiss. Something "outside".

2. Police force is too obvious. I seriously think it is a misdirection. "Misdirection" is always employed to mislead the best investigators, and is usually one of the most forgotten training.

3. The writer needs a twist. If audiences figure it out by E06, interest will immediately wane.

4. Writers, especially for mysteries and crimes, never create characters for no reason at all. Every character has a role to play in the entire mystery.

5. Reminds me of Sherlock Holmes and his archenemy Moriarty.

In other words, the serial killer is someone very close to her. Someone she sees regularly. Someone she won't have second thoughts or suspicions. A person who knows her almost intimately because she bared herself at least once. An entity who thinks like her and sees her as a game, a challenge on who's better.

Considering all that, there are only two people that fits the bill: the two psychos, I mean, psychs.

A. Female psych. She's the closest to her. They even have drinks together. She practically knows the FL intimately. And all these times, she was helping the FL how to solve her cases. As if she's nudging her without actually leading her. And the psych is always exactly right.

The FL doesn't even suspect her. Why would she? They've been talking together for 10 years.

But you see, if the female psych is the FL's Moriarty, then she's enjoying pretending to be her psychologist. She's enjoying playing with her. And she's enjoying seeing how far her archenemy can go.

B. Male pysch. The FL used to have him as her psychologist. He knows her deeply. He understands her.

He is also suspicious because he's the only regular character that we rarely see an interaction. What's more, he became the psych of the policewoman. I'm suspecting that the policewoman will be used later to commit a crime or to pin the FL as the serial killer.

In addition, he's also in the position where he can be close to her, thus, the FL won't suspect him at all.

C. The real common denominator with all the puzzles, all the victims more likely visited one or both of the psychologists before. Either one of them is the real suspect, or both psychs are in it together.

At the end of the day, it is a war between geniuses. Again, genius and psychopathy are simply two sides of the same coin. The killer, or killers, is/are interested in the FL. They probably want to train her to be like them or they see her as their antithesis.

You see, there is this belief that we all have an antithesis. An individual that is in total opposition to what we believe in and our principles. Not necessarily evil or opposite. Think of positive and negative forces. Or your battery. Or the two poles. West and East. North and South.

For the Moriarty type, it's a game. All they care about is themselves and their antithesis. Meanwhile, for the Sherlock type, it's a case they must stop and they think it is their job to solve it no matter what.

But one thing uniter them both. They both hate to be outwitted. The FL is already showing cracks when she can't understand why the father would rather commit suicide instead of taking the three guys with him.

Imagine if the female psych was the FL's Moriarty and she sees the FL cracking? Immense satisfaction and disappointment. But the psych nudge her to a certain direction because she's not done with her and it would be a waste if she's defeated already, they barely started the game!

It’s on viki as episode 23. I think it’s also on viu but don’t know about the available subtitles.
Viu always have English for their ASEAN branches. Only the HK Viu lacks English for some weird reason.

However, Viu is usually late by 6–24 hours if the show aired in Korea from 21:00 onwards. They make their own translations, and thes, highly depends on the load of their translators and subtitlers (timing), and if they're still available (they usually prioritize dramas over variety shows).

P.s. This is only my observation. Dramas get English subtitles almost 30 minutes after it aired in Korea, so I assume they're getting a copy a few hours before it airs in Korea, enough time to finish translations and subtitles. But for variety shows, it takes them 6–24 hours.

Ohh the people who came to the Food Festival are sooo lucky. They got free yummy food and can see all the actors.…
Yep! The scenes were so natural, it was so touching. I can imagine how they did it:

Director: Okay everyone, as explained earlier, don't look at the cameras and just eat whichever you want and speed time with your family and friends. All free, just don't look at the cameras!

agree! I vote for best OP seq this year so far
Yep!

It's simple and fun to watch. There's that old style art and old style animation feel to it, you know when flipping small papers and the story is told that way without the need for dialogues.

Kudos to whoever thought of doing it that way.

Sorry but why always in Asians dramas people don't look for a car when they walk!!! also I didn't trust that doctor…
Because unfortunately, it's common. Just two weeks ago, I had to pull a guy who was almost got hit by an ambulance(!).

The guy was too busy with his f*** phone and tried to cross the street.

Secondly, pedxings are not respected by drivers.

Title Leap Day Spoiler
Ok, so we were spot on, the Doctor figured out how to evade it. I'm really suspecting what I said earlier, murder someone. It's a life for a life.

The Doctor forced the birth of Day because it is easy to cover it up. He murdered his mother and covered it up as medical malpractice.

The stalker is Day's counterpart. Will not do anything evil. Will always find a way.
The stalker has been observing both Day and Night because he needs to figure out who is the Doctor's counterpart. Meaning, who will easily succumb to "a life for a life" to save his own love ones. This is why he stressed to Ozone why his information must never reach Night because he figured out that Night is the one easily tempted.

The plot is basically about two types of people: Lawful Good = let's find another way vs Chaotic Good = I just want to save my love ones, the result justify the means.

LOLs. I guess I'm one of the few Gen Xennial (formerly known as Gen XY) who likes RP too.

The comments are turning into GenZ vs GenM. 😅

Although the same with hospital playlist (yulje universe and cameos, slice of life genre) but the target audience…
Exactly. Different format. Different target audience. Different approach/focus. Differeet themes. HP and RP can't really be compared, it just so happen they share the same Yulje universe.

Yeahh ... I was shockkkedd to see him. Episode 3 (42:41).
Yep! I really hope it wasn't a cameo because he happened to be in the area when they were filming. 😅 Kirean directors really like teasing us that way.

Look at Han Yeji (Kim Sabi). She's a newbie in the TV/Film industry. We don't know if she did theatre plays, but she really did well for her first screen acting. (Even if she had theatre experience, the demands for screen acting is far different from theatre acting.)

You won't see that she's worried her acting was not up to par, especially in the midst of veteran and popular actors. She's relaxed. It was clear she was having fun.

It's only possible if synergy is present. Because with synergy, you naturally understand and feel that the other actors will fill-in were you lacked in the scene. You know that they have your back and that it isn't a competition, or someone wants to win Best Actor/Actress. You won't feel that you're dragging everyone down because your fellow actors are there supporting and pulling you up.

That's synergy, a far more important factor than having "chemistry".

🖖🏽

Jung Junwon in an interview before the last episode was aired shared heartfelt feelings about the drama"The scene…
> He also praised Go Younjung " I was able to receive attention because my partner who I matched with was Youn Jung-ssi. Youn Jung-ssi is a great actress. It was harder to act as the one receiving the plotting than the one doing it. I just let everything go and went with the flow of the play, but Youn Jung-ssi made their relationship convincing."

THAT!

I said in my review that they did not outshine each other, instead they complemented each other. What one actor was failing to deliver or not good at or whatever reason, another actor is filling in, thus it is "covered" and not affecting the scene.

Usually, this synergy only happens if the actors are having fun and not stressed nor tired. It wasn't only him whi went with the flow, they all did. There wasn't even anything that was forced. They were all at ease if they cannot give their all because they trust their fellow actors will fill-in for what they lacked in the scene. So, the pressure on them is far less than usual, enabling them to relax and enjoy.

Haha. It ended up long as usual.
