Yep! Your idea is awesome. I remembered Star Trek: Discovery did that, they showed a far future webisode in-between seasons which got fans excited and talking. But the series itself never reached that future time period they teased. Yet, fans became so eager to watch the following season because of curiosity that came from the webisodes.
It's like asking, "How did they get to that point? What happened in-between?" And that's where the following season answered.

Just to share, here in the Philippines, it's fine, and we don't have laws forbidding it. The only laws we have when it comes to forbidding certain marriages are: 1. Cannot marry a blood-relative up to the 3rd degree 2. Cannot marry an adopted sibling (combine that with №1, one cannot marry their adopted cousin up to the 3rd degree either, since the law sees adoption as technically blood relatives)
An exception to №1 is if the siblings were already married before their parents married. The same with №2, if they were already married before they were legally adopted, it's fine. Of course, for №2, that's unlikely because we don't do adoption of adults and we don't have a family registry system (though many do keep family tree records).

It's a completely new story that happens to exist in the same universe. In other words, rate this show without comparing it Hospital Playlist. Otherwise, it is a disservice to the cast and crew of both shows. That's like comparing lemon and kalamansi. Rate Resident Playbook based on how the actors performed in their own show. Rate it based on how the writer wove the story. Rate it how the director did for this show. As if this was not a spin-off at all.
Because if you're going to rate kalamansi based on your experience with lemon, well, you'll probably won't like kalamansi.
With surprise comedies and a "karmic" conclusion. And best of all, the mainstays were all present (not like in S01E11, one mainstay was absent).
However, as is Korean drama tradition, it was written in a way that it truly ended, not leaving anything for a possible new season. It was so perfect, you wouldn't ask for more as it brought proper closures and immense satisfaction.
Still, I do hope there'll be a Season 02 because I like the entire cast and their acting. They did not outshine one another, instead, they complemented each other's acting. A weakness of one actor was hidden because of another actor filling in. Was it intentional? Maybe, maybe not, and that's what made the cast awesome. Who cares if they're support or main or a guest? They were all there to have fun and bring joy to the audience.

Like you said, she just appeared out-of-nowhere yet she's apparently an important doctor and was training FL1 for weeks too (probably most of her 9 months pregnancy)!

Yet, at the end of the day, both groups valued the joy and happiness of sharing an hour with celebrities they only see on screens or from a distance. The gifts were simply a bonus, a memento to remember that once-in-a-lifetime experience, and even without it, interacting with the celebrities were truly more than enough.

And some people who figured it out from other timelines/parallel worlds are trying to send messages across the multiverse.
Unfortunately, there are some who are taking a more direct and often offensive method, like the mysterious stalker and the doctor.
Ozone is the key. He can _hear_ from other realities and _see_ possibilities.

However, if his transformation finished before the bomb hit, he's like Namra, an Immune type of Hambie, and probably escaped before the bomb struck using his newfound speed.
Well, at least that's how I see the twist coming based on the two types of hambies the director and screenwriter revealed in S01.

The regulars are: angry doctor, mother theresa, prof. Seo, and the 5 Mains. But angry doctor was absent in E11, and replaced by a pregnant doctor.
