That wasn't a bad condition. To claim the insurance, neither partner should be involved in an affair.
I think that's fair for the insurance provider. An affair is the worst ground for annulment and divorce. Even in Abrahamic religions, marital affair is a huge NO.
never watched Hospital Playlist.. should i watch it b4 this? is it essential to understand this drama?
It's fine. True spin-offs are always standalone from the original, and if there's a need to mention the original, they explain it fully within the spin-off itself, instead of expecting audiences to watch the original.
"Fake spin-offs" are those labeled a "spin-off" but are not. They expect audiences to have watched the original and they rarely add context or explanations when referencing something from the original. These are actually a sequel or a prequel or a sidestory.
Resident Playbook is fortunately a true spin-off. π
The "useless" guy (so far) is probably going to be partnered with Ms. Cellphone.Autistic-coded Sabi, I'm not sure.
Ahh, those are very good points! Indeed, they match more as they counterbalance each other's personality. He can bring out the the fun side of Sabi, and she can tame his "wildness". π
I've been thinking about that too, who's the new guy. If the other two are going to have partners, Ms Beauty will likely want to have one as well. I dunno, I see her that way, not behind the "trend" or being left out. It would be interesting too if she gets one, especially if this spin-off gets another season. The GenZ character. π
There is more to Yo-yo than what they explained in E05.
1. The _modern_ design of "yo-yo" was invente by a Filipino, an Ilokano to be exact, in 1928. 2. He founded his toy company and named it "Yo-yo". 3. He provided 600+ jobs through his company. 4. "Yo-yo" is an Ilokano word, not a Filipino word. The Filipino language did not exist back then. 5. While the "toy" itself is ancient, the _modern_ design we see today is only 97 years old as of this post.
Yeeun driving episode = Welcome back Yeeun! π (After the "burned-out" side comment which led to her getting on the sides in the following episodes (it was like she was penalized for it).)
Now they're back to regular banter with Yeeun. Hahaha.
About the episode itself, she CAN drive. She learns fast. More like, she's remembering what she learned to get her license. She just forgot it.
The funniest part was when she's eating while driving. She really tried to hold her laughter for a long time, and showed her talent on how to eat without touching and spilling the food. π€£ It was made even more funnier by how the members accurately described the whole process. π€ͺ
It was so hilarious and it was a perfect comeback. 10 stars for that!
I think it became an issue because she was only starting. I mean she was just given a chance that so many desire,…
True. But from her comment that episode, it appears that she's taking too many projects because of her sudden popularity. It was probably why she made that "burned-out" comment, she meant it ie general, not just Running Man.
Of course, it said publicly, and on the show which helped her grow, sent a different message. It was like indirectly saying, "I'm too tired because RM made me so popular". The regular members didn't like it either, they could've said something like, "It's undersandable, your sudden popularity earned you a lot of projects. You're now a celebrity, you'll survive and get used to it". But none of them did. Instead it was, "then stop working". π
"Burnt out" is never discussed openly even for us non-celebs, especially in Pacific Asian cultures. I'm from the Philippines, and we keep quiet about it. If celebs here disappear, they just say, "taking a break for health reasons", although we can guess they're too tired and overwhelmed. π
Yeeun just need to be learn that there things she shouldn't say openly and publicly, especially not in a variety show.
Here in the Philippines, we have plenty of LIVE broadcast variety shows. Running Man airing Yeeun's comment is a clue that even the staff were not happy with what she said that day, or at least the people who decided to include that clip. They could've cut it out.

Yep. It was very surprising she left that side comment. She might mean well, but the timing was wrong and it shouldn't be talked outside of our trusted circle. I'm from the Philippines, and her "burned-out" comment was shocking. π But, you know, I didn't react at first because I probably misunderstood it or it's probably normal in Korea to talk about it openly these days.
Maybe she only have a few haters, but the minority often has the loudest voices. Give them a small bullet and they'll turn it into a nuke. A "burned-out" comment like that was very dangerous for her growing career. It's a good thing she wasn't cancelled. She's on her second chance now.
She'll grow as long as her seniors won't give up on her qnd she continually shows she's willing to lear and be better.
For the Daniel welcome, Yeeun was on the backseat. π I don't know if her seniors told her that after the "I'm burnt out" episode and in the episode where she didn't apologize or explained herself; or the network did. π But it was clear during the strawberry punishment when they made a joke about it, that she "paid for it". I think it was because she showed that she's willing to listen and improve.
And thus, in the driving episode, she's back on her regular role. They were all attentive to her as well. Everything is back to normal interaction and funny banters.
Congrats Yeeun. No matter how burnt out you might be, just keep it private and within your trusted friends (who wouldn't leak it). Even for us non-celebs, we don't openly talk about it. Now, get back to your usual self! You might one day inherit the show, or get your own. Use this opportunity to learn more about variety shows.
There's no doubt that Kim Sabi (κΉμ¬λΉ) is autistic-coded. She is not "savant". "Savant syndrome" is rare. A true "savant" is a person with an intense mastery of a certain subject and field but also often severely lacking in social and intellectual skills. Sabi (μ¬λΉ) displays social and intellectual skills as demonstrated in E02. π

It's fine, it's not common but it happens. Usually it happens with identical twins. Their twins on both sides also marries their in-law twins.
It will be cool to see how Koreans present in-laws marrying each other. Especially in an extended family dynamics.

Oh, MDL, you need to add "pagination". RM's cast list is very long.

She'll do great. She just needs to learn.

Cheering for you!
Pyo! The one with a beautifully designed phone. That aspect of her stuck with me. LOL.

Also, it's the actor's debutante role and she's doing awesome!!!
Autistic-coded Sabi, I'm not sure.
