This drama is one of those guilty pleasures that you watch while secretly reassessing your life choices and wonder why are you like this???

I started this mainly for max and I thought I'm gonna like this ... Then I saw Yi's dad, and I thought I'm gonna Loooove this lol dude is fine as hell 🤣 and he looks like the biological father of Max, like If someone told me he is his real father I'd believe it xD and everyone in the comments is dashing on Aon, but seriously I'm team Foei lol I love Poppy, I just love him so much and Foei was amazing, sorry Aon but for me Foei is No1 most fine as hell and funny as heaven secretary of the whole CP universe ~~

Anyway, drama itself is a mess, that's for sure but for me, the reason why I prefer CP to this -despite being extremely excited to watch Yi and Diao's story- was the lack of side stories in this, let's be honest, nothing is going on here,,, it's just a couple of secrets that goes on and on till they are revealed and voilà, the end. But in CP we had 2 main stories with a third side story, a funny secretary and crazy school gang to keep us entertained ~~

Also why is every damn thing is so sloooow!!!! They are taking too long to walk and talk, even my old dead laptop used to process faster than their movements ~~

Nevertheless, and I hate myself for admitting that, I liked it lol 😂 not like like but good enough like. I mean Makorn and Yi ladies and gentlemen, and Lian and Kuea fun appearances that was significantly hilarious, so that's fairly enough for me ~~

Chinese dramas are always a hit or miss for me ... But drama aside, I LOVE your PP 😍😍😍😍 he's so cute ~~

Believe it or not, I liked the drama lmao 🤣🤣 and that's probably why I was so pissed, it could be much better and I could have enjoyed it more, it's a good story with a bad script!!
It's like eating a very sweet candy with a bitter aftertaste ~

TBH I kinda answered this question myself when I remembered the scene his father told him "mine was curable, yours isn't" when he asked him to hurry and marry nayeon and I thought maybe not all the diseases were incurable and that's maybe why his ancestors didn't mind much the "curse" and just focused on passing it to their children and live on lol cruel but c'est la vie xD and maybe because he was the direct reincarnation that his illness was incurable ~

I was just surprised how his mother was so oblivious to the whole curse thing lol she was so adorable nonetheless 😂

No I got that part, you explained it better than the whole 16 hours of the drama, it's just we all started the drama with the mentality that she "holds the key to his freedom" as mentioned in the synopsis, to now accept the idea that she absolutely has nothing to do with lifting it lol

My main problem was the lack of clarity, yes everything you said was IN the drama but you have to watch it with a detective mind, I'm sorry for wanting to watch a drama to relax and enjoy my time, apparently I have to "pause and take notes" while watching lol 😂 -sorry someone actually said that to me- but jokes aside I don't think I'm anymore interested to know more. I still don't agree on the last part because if it's correct then it's the lamest reason ever but anyway 🤷~~
again thank you for taking the effort and time to explain all that. I really enjoyed the cast and their performance but I felt more stressed than relaxed after finishing it, it should have been much shorter and clearer IMO. There is no need to all this mysterious hints €

Ok so the curse is lifted by his death. I got that part, now how is this related to the FL?? If that's the case, she did absolutely nothing to help him break it?? He could have lifted it if he had a cardiac arrest by chance without even having to meet her, so why is she the key??

I wish it was explained more clearly in the drama tho~ if my death would stop the curse then I'd simply not produce an heir, but that's not possible because they have a job to do ~
But still this opens up the door for many unanswered questions, what if they had more than one child then? Would both inherit the curse? What if they had a girl instead of a boy? The father is having a girl -the peach dream- but after the curse is broken, what if they had her before it was broken? And if it only for male heirs, What if one of the ancestors had girls and no boys?? Also why didn't his father die since they all had a short life span?.... You see, I understand the idea as a whole thing but it wasn't well written enough to stop me from having more side questions!! But I accept your reply as a good reason for the curse thing.

All I saw is he was treating her like shit before the spell and after the spell he is just so lovely and nice to her against his will as he mentioned over a dozen times, also he also mentioned that he should be "heart broken" after his breakup with Na Yeon yet he misses the FL and wants to see her which is confusing even to him. so how can you be so sure it was "real" right from the start, and if you are under a spell you will be sure that your love is true because you are "under a spell"
IT IS in fact bad writing, agree with me or not, that's why they kept adding oh the spells are real, no the spells don't work and they are fake!! And you say it wasn't confusing nor complicated???
If you want to believe that, it's up to you I respect that, but don't just force me and the others to also accept the lazy writing and "confusing hints" as facts just because you deem that satisfying, we can "follow" what was going on but that doesn't mean it was "clearly" explained ~~

Right!? I thought so too but I remember EunWol telling HongJo that the curse is gone with "your death" I don't know if it was mis-translated or she meant one of them dead. But this idea crossed my mind because they made him die then came back.
But the whole spells thing although we "understand" that they actually love eachother for real but it still left a bitter taste because of how vague it was. I just wish it was more explained, they dragged the drama out when it should have ended at EP10 max but didn't bother to show the whole spell/curse situation more clearly ~~ 😅😅

but who said incest is only exists in books, sad to say but Boku no imouto were about a twin boy and girl and had incest relationship. It was adapted to a movie, still it's not in BL, and that's probably the only incest movie I know but I'm just saying they exist I only saw the step siblings as I said in my last comment so I agree with you on the last part 😂

I don't know what exactly went wrong with this drama, it started off on a good tracks then went south somewhere in the middle.
I don't even know where to begin, the curse and the love spell, did they work? Did they not? How exactly was the curse got stopped? What about his illness? Is he going to die or nope? He drank the love potion so he just love her because of it? Or did he actually love her by himself? We all know that it was true love but then what did the love potion do? How are we all sure it was true love and not the potion effect? And if it was all fake then what about the cure spell? Did it work?? I can overthink about that all day now but I still need proof that the sun exists 😂!! Why making everything so confusing ?? The amount of unanswered questions that kept circling my mind are too many to ignore ~~
The lazy writing was my biggest enemy!! Not to mention the 2ML the only appears at the wrong time to make the ML jealous.

The 2leads were cute and with great chemistry, but that's it, its just BoAh and RoWon acting that saved ... Or tried to save this drama ~~
