But to clearly answer your question, as far as my goldfish memory can remember age wasn't explicitly mentioned in the drama, so we don't know who is older than whom but I believe she was older.

As far as I remember and despite the change they stopped at the same point in the story, I watched them loo~~ong time ago so I don't remember the details TBH , for the manga I don't know anything, so thank you for telling me ~ 😊

I don't know if the manga has more than what the anime shows, the movie ends at the same point the anime so I thought that is the whole thing ~

I can't believe I didn't know about this drama earlier!!!! It was perfect!!! I wouldn't change a thing in this drama, everything was amazing!!! I can watch this drama for the rest of my life without getting bored of it!!!
It was funny, cute and fluffy and even the idea is about fujoshi who has wild imagination about her co-workers managed to be nontoxic somehow, more light and hilarious.
Every EP was brilliant, I can't decide which is my favourite, every new EP is more fun than the one before it ... I genuinely don't know what to say, it's just my favourite drama of the year so far!!!

Look I'm fine with Chinese censored BL, the untamed, Advanced bravely and Guardian etc... All are censored adaptations yet were liked, and my opinion about them aside, but open any of the Chinese BL pages, everyone is treating them as Bromance, because they are... that's basically what China do to BL materials, they censor it, their "version" of BL if you wanna call it so ~~

So that makes this drama also "a censored BL" *throw the word bromance away* now we are clear.
Now please look at others' comments and tell me if you are a BL watcher, what would you expect if you haven't seen SWM yet??.... personally , I expected something else, or more than what China usually shows... or is it just me?, if it's just me then no problem, all I'm saying is, I expected more, I didn't get what I expected, it's not any "Bolder" than the others, it's exactly the same, that's it, that's my whole comment ~~

Now I wanna stop here but my fingers are getting itchy because I need to say something about the advertising thing 😂 I don't know how this was advertised inside China, but this is a BL book, if you take away the BL then whatever left isn't the main focus of the story, it's like writing about Jane Eyre but focusing about her interactions with Mrs. Fairfax and totally ignoring Mr. Rochester. I mean, I like Mrs Fairfax but she is a side character. Got me? It's a great story -in your opinion- but still it's the side story. If you throw away the heart of the book the rest won't fill out the missing part, because say whatever, but people come to watch this because it's a BL not because it's a family drama~

Ok, other adaptations!? We disagree here, I'm not saying this "should" have other adaptations nor that they gonna be "better". I said that long time ago, immediately after the announcement of this remake, I said if we gonna have a remake, it's better be a Taiwanese -not even Thai - because this would be the closest to the book with respect to it's mature content. And IMO that'll be an improvement, because ANOTHER Chinese one would means more censorship because the first didn't survive a couple of forced kisses, So this point is for it's time, I'm not even looking for the Thai version that is announced ~~

This pushes back to my old comment when I first saw the remake announcement, I clearly said, it's gonna be a bromance and it's better to have a Taiwanese version instead because while they may show some of the nasty thing from the book, they won't go fully wacko and show everything, and it'd be the closest to the source material that all of us here on this page came to look for ~~

Now for the two points you stated, 1- the actors could get banned... Johnny and Timmy were banned from appearing "together" and from advertising the show I think but they still could work and that didn't stop Johnny from later winning prices for his acting career. My point is it's not a career killing thing.

2- this is a good family drama... Ok great!! Fantastic I'm glad you liked it, I genuinely am no kidding, then advertise it as a family drama, slice of life, not as an adaptation for famous BL novel... don't take the whole flesh out of the book and use just the crust then advertise it as a remake, for me i understand your POV but I won't talk much about the details.

Yea, sure I wasn't expecting anything crazy like holding hands from a Chinese series, but I also can't call this a "BL" if it is not clearly implied that the leads are in a relationship. You see my point!?

I personally don't watch for sex, if that was the case, then I'd be an idiot if i expect anything from a Chinese production. But the drama itself isn't that grand.

The FL was just in her head trying to figure out the ML and here I am in the corner ... screaming ... HELLOOOO!! ... hi yes, uh 3 years!! ... you know.... those freaking 3 years with your EX ?? ... who you imagined marrying and have kids with, you simply gonna forget him as if he was nothing!? ...
She didn't give a tinker's damn about him!!!
I could relate to her because I also had plans that got fucked up but I could not understand her approach after her break up~~
The ML lacks some social skills so I understand his way of thinking and behaving a little, as a socially awkward person I usually give different reactions and emotions than I intend to show, so I won't be judgy ~~

The drama doesn't show anything besides the two leads relationship so I don't know what to say TBH beside that they both were exasperating characters, on the other hand, Genta was EXTREMELY handsome,, and Sakurako was so cute and I like how she dresses here ~~

I started this drama before it was fully released and I put it on hold at ep3 because I thought it's not gonna beat the original adaptation, but lately I rewatched "Addicted"/"Heroin" and I read all those comments here about how they can't forget this series and how it was amazing so I thought "well, here goes nothing" and I watched it.~~

I have to say that it wasn't bad but I didn't like it that much, first I'll address the elephant in the room, for me it was a bromance, not BL, you can literally watch the first 19 episodes of this and think of them as brothers and it won't feel weird, they just threw hints here and there and you have to pick those tiny traces or just read between the very narrow lines to get that they are together, we have big hint on ep20 and a couple of pecks in later episodes to show that they are together. But besides that we have nothing, they didn't even held hands, not even one normal kiss, and I'm sorry if I didn't agree with everyone here but this wasn't satisfying for a BL fan, and I'm not saying I wanna see the book as it is but I just need them to admit being in relationship and address that freely to fully accept that they are together ~~

Now if I have to judge it as a series without debating whether it is BL or bromance, it was just a simple school drama, nothing great about it and nothing stands out, as an adaptation this was sieved and generously filtered with characters being omitted or altered to fit the censorship rules. Because this WuBi isn't GuHai, he is more like the "Vanilla" version of him and thank god for that, because while this isn't really the best nor honest adaptation, this is by far the most acceptable and watchable one ~~
