That's a bunch of random scenes put together making absolutely no sense at all, with a few clichรฉ and cheesy moments, specially the "Unni" thing ... just don't, it's too cringy ... I thought there were some improvement in Korean BL but this is a couple of steps back, you could still see the awkwardness and long pauses between spoken lines. But it still has a couple of good moments here and there if you keep an open mind while watching ~~~
This gives different vibes in the first half than in the second one. The ML started as a nice but overprotective brother, and I don't mean this in a good way, he was obsessed with his sister!!lol and I don't understand his urge to separate her from her "husband" He was like -so your husband is a bad person - No he is good person - he is cheating... He beats you? - um no, he treats me ni... - so when are you getting a divorce? - but we love eachoth..... - if you need my help to kill him I'll do it - dude what.... - ..... I mean that literally - ๐ฎ - consider it done.
And then, he flips the "Sila" card for the last 8ep, I don't understand where is the romance going, it was a slap/kiss then gentle love ๐ I couldn't keep up and I ended up with a "surprise me!" Attitude towards the ML. I definitely supported the FL mental breakdown because everyone saw it coming.~~
I won't talk about the lack of logic in here but one thing!!! Just one bloody thing !!! bothered the heck out of me!! How on EARTH did he knew about the attempt murder ๐๐๐ how!!? Seriously HOW!!! ~~~
Did they change the name of one of the main lead? In the pilot his name was Guy but then when you go watch the…
Not 100% sure but in "Love is in the air" the ML name was Sky and his friends called him Kai as a nickname.... It could be the same so he is called Kai not Guy.
But I haven't seen the pilot yet so that's just my guess ~~
It was lovely, reminds me of Midnight Diner but here there are no stories just random moments and though the drama lack consistency, it is still enjoyable. Missed Eunkyung and was happy to see her again, I hope she gets more new roles in Korea.
hahaha you just had to mention homeroom. that one is just super weird in general bar nothing. the student-teacher…
I'm sorry, I can't help it ๐. I see "student", "teacher" and "relationship" in one sentence and BOOM!! Yuki's naked ass flashes my mind instantly!!!
This was amazing, but still have a thing or two that really bothers me, like you could easily... Very easily... fix those things but they didn't, and that's why I feel annoyed. Performances were good, actually great but I couldn't see any challenging scenes that would impress me considering the genre of the series. But overall everything was perfect, just with a few unrealistic moments here and there. The end was good too, love the cameo, I believe there is no S2 but in case one day they decided to make it I'll definitely watch it, come what may it's gonna be enjoyable!
I really want to see this drama with better budget and improved acting! I liked it specially the sister but I can't help but notice the lack of chemistry and slightly awkward moments between the leads in the beginning! Like with some improvement this could be amazing, but it's not bad as it is, entertaining and fluffy despite the BuXia acting like 12 YO instead of 21, and JiangChi's stoney face.
I really hoped that the level of acting and scenario would be higher. Anyway, we are in 2023 and the company doesn't…
Unfortunately, that's what sells, most trashy things gives you the instant gratification and hight profit without investing much into the details of making it.
Do you know this picture of a half very realistic drawing of a horse and the other half is just doodles! That's how I feel about this series. All cases have very odd ends, starts off great then the writing became crappy and the big secret was too predictable and shallow TBH! Jisung and Jinyoung were amazing, my only concern was the FL, I don't understand how Minjung went with her character but I had hard time watching her act, and I literally skipped 90% of her scenes if not all of them, she was terrible I'm sorry to say. Overall not bad but not great, and the climax was very disappointing, but for the sake of Jisung's performance I give it a higher score than I'll normally give, I'm slightly partial because I'm a huge fan.
First of all, before anything, shout out to Natthew (Nawin) for being the most adorable batshit-crazy idiot scene-stealer!!! This character deserves to be in more than just two episodes!!! I'd gladly watch a whole series with him in it!! And TBH he'd be my favourite character if it wasn't for Film (Charn) ~~~
And oh my god!!!! Charn stole my whole heart, mind and soul!! The complexity of the character was brilliant!!! Film was amazing!! This is the first drama I ever watch for the two leads, -haven't seen To sir, with love yet, but i plan to- and he was magnificent!!! ~~~ Loved the creepy smile with hollow stare! Like you're so weird, mate! But I don't feel grossed out, instead you got my whole attention now! He was just too fucked up, the way he switches from evil revenger to sassy flirty with Tinn was very remarkable.~~~~
On the other side, there are a few plot holes here and there, and Tinn was the weakest Taekwondo Sabomnim I've ever seen, I feel like I could beat his ass easily even with my very humble skills, and the whole 5th EP does not exist for me, just deleted it from my memory ๐ I would give it a 10 because I enjoyed it as much but I could not turn a blind eye from the things that didn't make sense, they were just too many to ignore.~~ The series definitely deserves all the hype, and I'm glad I waited to binge watch it, highly recommended ~~~~
So basically Lakorns refers to "Thai dramas" that's the literal meaning I believe, but it's also a category itself for Thai soap operas and drama series which slightly differs from the known Asian dramas in general, they are fiction and tend to be too dramatic with a patterns that you can conclude easily if you watch too many.
They all look great ~~

what a powerful ass, it has a great impact really!! I still remember it vividly! Well used assets ๐๐๐
