Probably one of my favourite jdramas about affairs, it presents two stories of infidelity with two in a very captivating way. But I can't help but notice that Japanese in general "criminalise" divorce, I always end marriage affairs dramas with a message is try to save your marriage no matter what, and forgive your cheating husband/wife and move on. While I don't necessarily say all affairs should end with divorce, but I think you can't save a sinking ship, and affairs IMO is a big freaking hole in that ship, marriage is a sacred bond but if someone was selfish enough to severe this bond, then come after it's too late to try and fix it then nope. Too late, mate!! You fucked up my ship, you jump out and drown! The audacity of Takuya at the last EP. Oh my god!!! You little piece of shit!! Seriously!? If it had ended any other way I'd be furious! He reminded me of Yoichi from "even if you don't do it" I loved Maiko and her imagination, I find her too agreeable for her own good and a bit peculiar.
I hate myself for watching this after the 4th EP, because everything was good and perfect, there was no reason to go on with the story and I had no idea what the rest of it would be about and we are talking 8 EP here!! That's a lot of time and many things have to happen to fill that! But my problem wasn't that.
The plot was a surprise to me, kinda like "Voice in the rain" which I loved but with a soulmate twist, I have to say a good surprise because the story had potential. I had some problems with the characters and I don't understand the hate towards Lomfon tbh xD I think he is the only sane person who acted normally here, he was in love with someone, then he found out he was taken because of the soulmate thing, but then he saw a chance there and took it to get his love but didn't realise he had a change of heart so he fixed what he broke But the two leads... My god!!!! Tai was like "no soulmate, don't believe in love, not gonna reply to him for two freaking years! Oh wait!! He's a Cute guy, now I'm in love, he is my soulmate, he's mine" simply put, the most selfish bitch I have ever seen. Phat was oh i breakup with my gf, sad sad , 10 mins later oh soulmate replied, I love him now, my ex go fuck yourself I'm not going back to you we broke up ages ago ... About two days or so .... that's a lot I've already forgotten you. And the ex girlfriend, we breakup now, huh! Alright, screw you all makes in the world, I'll go lesbian! 😎 *Facepalm* bloody hell 🤦 Thian was slightly normal but the way he blamed Lomfon for not loving him back was kinda stupid but we all are delusional in love so 🤷 I should have stopped at ep4 like I said when all was well.
nothing against SWL but if it is about the same Sang Yan from HL, I'd definitely feel more connected if it was Victor Ma, the actor who played the brother in HL, so if the cast is confirmed, I may skip this one 😏
That was a very very light drama, when I saw that the number of episodes were 25 I immediately knew it'd drag on, because this is a very simple story, but it wasn't till ep 17 that I started skipping parts, however, the drama was still longer than it deserves and extremely slow paced. I didn't mind the age gap between the leads, and I don't understand how 5 years are considered "age gap" in the first place but anyways, what confused me was that at the very end after the ML celebrate his 26th BD, the FL was still talked about as under 20 or yet to be 20. Which is weird so it's either bad translation or the age difference is more than just 5 years, also Yan and JiaXu have their birthdays one month apart in some scenes and one year apart in another so this part was also confusing, specially if it was one month, since there was nothing mentioned about it. I know it's a very shallow thing but considering that the drama is based on "age difference between the leads" it's weird that they didn't wrap up that part well. I really like the brother, he was lovely, I couldn't really like the FL character very much, the spoiled overprotected rich princess was slightly annoying, and I admit I couldn't see any appeal to it but I loved LuSi so I kinda gave in. A very slow and light drama and with a simple story.
Well that was intense! Actually I thought it'd be some crime drama movie, but after 10 mins in, I came here to check the comments, then I understood that I was in for a bloody treat! 🫡 So I prepared my popcorn and got ready for it!! And I have to say I enjoyed every moment of it !!! Still was slightly disappointed xD while I LOVE gore and bloody movies the story was too weak, and I didn't get to see "Evil Im JooHwan"!! I really really love when he plays an evil character!! But he appears in like a couple of scenes. The movie lacks common sense, and LOGIC big time!, but still the bloody part was so cool, the blood spatter was funny in some scenes 🤣 and the monster, pffft!!! 😂😂 still can't believe he was killing people like eating French fries yet our SoMin managed to survive him with just a knife 🤣😂 Anyway like I said, no logic. I also don't understand open ends of movies with no future plans whatsoever for a second part! But what I know maybe they'll make another one.
This could be a solid 9 for me if it wasn't for the aftertaste, I felt slightly unsatisfied after I finished it, but I'd definitely recommend it if you are a fan of gore and bloody stuff and don't mind slightly stupid moments then go for it! 👍
are u talking about previous years or the most recent? because I've seen a lot of Chinese BLs that are really…
I've already seen "In your heart" but you make it sound like it has many explicit sex scenes with people naked and so it only has one and it was without consent and slightly rapey in nature that's what was annoying about it since the two guys were already in love but they didn't show anything too explicit or graphic like you said, the whole drama was tuned down, even addicted heroin has more daring scenes as far as I remember. And beside this one I don't remember any other Chinese BL! She said there are "many" and that's why we all were surprised, because you can hardly find one, but as I said she may have gotten confused with the Taiwanese ones.
That was painful to watch both physically and emotionally, emotionally because you get to see a man losing everything gradually -with no proper excuse for it-, and physically because you have to sit on your arse for two bloody hours watching a man losing everything, without a freaking excuse for it!!! While I think the movie was nicely done, despite a few weird sex scenes here and there but whatever, I still don't know why this lasted that long *pun not intended*, you could scratch half of the script -pffft!!! Lol script xD bwahaha *wipe a tear away*- which would make this movie shorter an hour or something ~ One last thing bothered me the whole movie, I may be prejudice too but I really don't get it, Hio is Ryohei's trainer..... In what multiverse does a trainer look too skinny you could see his inner organs and the trainee is a physique of a bodybuilder! Yes I know some trainer could be skinny and obviously people who traines have good bodies but when you put them together I couldn't help but think it looks obviously weird xD ~
This movie was amazing, the end got me scratching my head a little because I didn't know why Akira did that and what actually happened to his family? And if he really changed his identity then what happened to both families his and Rie's. Also the fish tank scene was kinda brilliant lol you hide a lot between the lines ~~ Overall deserve all the hype despite being slow and slightly long than it needs to be but not boring or anything ~~
Not great but not so bad either, I'd say average, I've seen better for sure but this was nice. Cast is relatively new so I understand why their acting was mediocre but the big problem was the rushed end for me, and the how everything was easily and shallowly solved xD but with most Japanese drama you give your brain a break while watching so I've nothing more to say xD
Didn't really like this one, maybe it's just me but I don't think they fit each other, the age gab is not just a number, he obviously lack maturity and I think the reason she wants to get married is to get a stable life since she absolutely lacks nothing, and she stated at the very beginning that she had enough love and playing, so if he wouldn't give her that stability then what is the point of marriage.
That was a very bad movie and by that I mean the story and characters, it's too difficult to like a very hateful and annoying leads even if the actors did great portraying them, they are just terribly selfish and self centered. I don't fully understand the message here, are you talking about fate, or first love that lasts forever, TBH no one stays this long in love with their first love, SPECIALLY If you are in a relationship with a good person who treats you well, if you just dump that person like trash once you see a glimpse of the person you once liked them you are trash yourself and you definitely need help. I also like how they added his sister "problem" to the story to show that cheating is really destructive and when it happens to nice people it changes them yet the reason for making the leads do exactly that is a mystery to me. Long story short, if you haven't seen this one, skip it, it's not worth it ~~
That was really disappointing, even my favourite couple could not save it, the only thing I liked was uncle Taegu with the cutie Minseo beside that everything was really bad ~
I watched this drama almost 20 years later and I generally love it, despite hating Sae, she was so self centered and annoying, I feel sorry for Kei he deserves better, she treats him and her "best friend" so terribly and her being deaf has nothing to do with how horrible and annoying she was. I liked the side characters but I wasn't so convinced of their friendships, they were horrible sometimes specially towards Keita, but overall it was enjoyable drama and 8f it wasn't for the young faces of the cast I wouldn't believe this was 20 years ago.
as a muslim, its horrible to see this behaviour that is against islamic principles normalised on tv.
I think it's as Arab thing, not a Muslim thing, the stereotypical idea that all Arab are rich and from the gulf area therefore spend all their money on pleasures is what I'm talking about here.
I totally understand your POV since you belong to the majority of the arabs, but I believe some arabs could be Muslims, Christians and even atheists that's beside my the point since it wasn't explicitly mentioned that he was Muslim.
what's Namkoong best show ? never saw anything with him in it, but after reading some comments i wanna binge watch…
Depends, I became a fan after he played a villain in the girl who sees smells, some would say chief Kim is his best, it has a boring story but his acting with junho was marvelous, can also say his character in beautiful gongshim was one of my favs. so it really depends, you can check his dramas, read some comments and decide for yourself ~
That was amazing, the end was sliii~~ightly anticlimactic but it was still enjoyable,
Cast was great, I do not know why I felt Minhyuk a little younger for his role however, the guy is already in his 30s, still looks like a teenager but we can't have that against him lol, also I loved most of the cameos despite missing about 90% of the actors that are mentioned in the cast list lol and I have a good eye I even shouted "KYU SSAEM!!!" At my screen when I saw him but probably most of them were blink and you'll miss it Guests.
Story was the best, it was so addictive and interesting , each EP leave you hooked for the next except for as I said the end, nevertheless it was very enjoyable from the beginning till the end.
