I wasn't impressed. Don't want to say it was predictable, but it was predictable 😂 and seriously the one I wanted dead wasn't really dead by the end of the series so, nope!
I didn't intend to watch this but just found myself randomly starting it and I blinked and boom I'm on EP8 ... I don't know what happened to me TBH but maybe I was having a weird day. Anyhow, I finished it and this was one of the smoothest dramas I ever watched, I didn't feel time passing, it just ended so quickly. The leads are cute and Kawi is adorable, despite the quick switch in his personality, I also loved their interactions, I see Fluke still needs acting lessons but I admit he improved a little so I won't dwell on this point. I don't really have much to say about it, I can clearly see this as a comfort drama, maybe not MY comfort drama but maybe for others because you kinda get less stressed when you watch it.
This was family slice of life comedy turns to mystery crime drama then somehow ended with an independence with a hint of romance.... In a nice way, not amazing way but just nice enough to not be bored, I enjoyed binge watching the drama but once I finished it I felt nothing. It was a hit and miss for me, the acting and the mother-daughter-friend relationship was good but adding romance and crime without focusing on making it good, or writing it well, for me it just weakened the plot. Overall good for one time watch, I'd definitely recommend it but I wouldn't watch it again ~~~
You gotta narrow it down for me, mate! Like do you want an anthology series in general check " we applied for an easy job", or "smoking" if you don't mind gory stuff or have good stomach, teen romance maybe try " from me to you"or "horimiya", adult relationships/many couples with deep stories you may like "KoiMaji" though it's slightly frustrating lol, if you just want a feel good drama with a light fluffy romance, try "neechan no koibito" or "love in sight", also "Takahashi kun from the bicycle shop " .... I don't really know what exactly you are looking for, you may like something on this list, or none at all, but if you still need suggestions maybe be more specific 😊
Utsukushii Kare is one of my favourite Japanese BL ever made. Two seasons were amazing and the movie is the cherry on top! Be that as it may, I'm actually glad this was the end of the era, mainly because down in it's core, this is the same story of both seasons, just handled a bit differently and that's why the way it ended was amazing and how -finally- Hira's character has developed to what I can call slightly improved, still not healthy but not so degrading obsession with Kiyoi, you know, the type of obsession that you definitely don't want to see IRL but don't mind so much in dramas, was the best way to tie everything up in a neat little bow. I LOVED the little duck, you should credit it as a cast member 😂 and Hira's serial killer mood when he senses that something might have happened to Kiyoi. Amazing xD This will ALWAYS be my comfort BL, love it to eternity ~~~
I feel sorry for adding this to my "completed" list because I skipped almost all of it, you know those type of dramas where every single character is annoying and aggravating not a single one is likable, good or bad, and everything pisses you off and pushes all your buttons. This is one of those. I don't understand for the life of me the way the writing is going, the idea of a character changing 180 degree without a single reason for that change is totally unrealistic and stupid. Every single scene was infuriating. And too many sick minded characters, I hated the mother the most, and till the last freaking minute of this she was still hateful and exasperating. It's been a while since I hated a drama as much as this one, probably in my top 10 most hated Japanese drama, so unless you like stupid story with twisted minds and too many unnecessary bad doings, skip it!!!
The first couple of EPs were boring, nevertheless it got better up till ep8-9 then it went dramatically downhill light speed unnecessarily. I like Nune but she looks waaaaay older than the main cast, I admit the four leads look older than they actually are but Nune stands out, I like her and she is actually one of my favourite Thai actresses but seriously, this isn't for her, she should be paired with someone close in her age, I can't even imagine how they made her act as the high school version of her character, yes she looks young but you are pushing it too much ~ Another thing is I don't understand Arthit, is he good is he bad!? He started off as a good person, slightly self-absorbed but ended up as a very terrible and hateful person, and the idea of Than. Vs the world pivots dramatically from the main plot. I expected something light and maybe it was in some parts but it's not worth it.
I plan to watch this drama, Kindly give me spoiler regarding 1. When is the main couple officially together? 2.…
The two leads gets together in the last EP, literally! So all those questions don't apply sadly, and you don't even get to see many romantic scenes between the leads.
This is considered a spoiler but "a side couple" had literally 3 kiss scenes while the leads had just one fake scene in ep13 😂 so a piece of advice, if you are looking for romance, skip this one.
I believe in the ending it just shows he also wanted to run away from himself and his identity! given that his…
That's what I assumed after thinking about it more, that he didn't really change he just engages in an identity roleplay every now and then or when he is with total strangers, because if he actually did change it'll open up a bunch of unanswered questions! Or, it's just a twist to confuse us without really showing what happened to his old life, abandon everything just like daisuki, move to another place with new faces and we can imagine the rest ~~
Loved it, it wasn't as gory as I imagined, but violent enough to entertain. I hated the guy in the first ep, he was so disgusting but all bad guys are anyway 🤷 I really liked Haccho and Goro bickering and how Haccho kept buying them stuff, they all are so lovely 😍 highly recommended if you like violence and punishing bad people ~~
I found it too fake TBH, I dunno why but I couldn't see the two leads as friends, their laughs and jokes seems so forced and probably that's why I couldn't engage with it emotionally, and that's what it's all about. Having a crush on your best friend is not news to me but here I thought Miho got to be too oblivious to not see it.... Until I saw the end ... Actually if I were her I'd definitely not think about him this way, if you identify a relationship then it is what it is. I don't think anyone is at fault here but I definitely want them to stay just friends.
It's been a while since I've seen a drama that got me scratching my head while watching, like really, wtf was that, there are a few things that I couldn't for the life of me understand what was it all about, and the plot holes are too many to ignore.
I think it was boring in the beginning, because they just threw a bunch of characters at us, the only one with solid introduction was the FL beside her we have no freaking idea who is whom and whether they matter in the story or just gonna get killed after a couple of scenes.
The police got to be the laziest ever!! That is a lot of murders and they did nothing!! None whatsoever through the whole thing! Not to mention the addition of the "shaman" thing made it too fake TBH, it's not sci-fi, don't include that shit in crimes. If I to say all the negatives I'll take a long time but I'll just say that it lacks logic but on the other hand, the mood, the atmosphere, the aesthetic of it, two broken souls getting together at the wrong time... There a lot to show here but sadly all that didn't compensate for how bad this was written.
Oh how I loved this drama, it was so beautiful and heartwarming, it surprised me big deal I didn't know what to expect when I started it, at first thought it's gonna be too sad but I liked the stories and how they are represented here, my favourite is ep4 and of course ep8, I also loved that they all have food references, every EP with a different meal, and the last EP tied everything perfectly ~~ This is highly recommended ❤️❤️
My goodness I loved this drama!! It was amazing, the end left a opening for a second season and we have a lot of unanswered questions but at the same time the end was perfect! I've never thought a open/loose end would fit but I also can't imagine another end to this. Cast was amazing!! Just right! Highly recommended ❤️
This took me a very long time to finish, I kept putting it on hold during the first 4 episodes till I finally decided to watch it. I'm probably the only person who didn't like the cells idea, and I mean how it is represented here, but watching something I wasn't interested in is on me so that is not a negative point, I liked the story but I didn't like how they ended it, I mean if they are going to break up after a whole year then it gotta be a good reason than short replies and why do you love me question!! We obviously know that they both love eachother, and the longer you date the more you try to turn a blind eye on the other person's faults, not point it out. Specifically if it's a very shallow thing that can be noticed after a couple of months dating. I still think they should have stayed together and the reason for breakup is lame but it wasn't a bad drama per se ~~
That was nice at the beginning and funny in some parts but I couldn't help but feel bored in the second half. I'm not an emotional person so the end was meh! For me, didn't feel anything while watching. i'd recommend it to others but I wouldn't necessarily watch it again.
