I watched the Taiwanese version and I didn't like it, it was confusing and stretched unnecessarily, I hope this one would be better because I think the idea itself is interesting.
I liked it, I'm not a huge fan of silly funny Thai dramas because the tend to be over the top like Japanese anime but I have to admit that if done well they can be really funny, and this one didn't disappoint me.
It reminded me of "Rose in da house" because both are about idols and has the same level of fun despite being totally different in everything else.
I have to say that the reason I really laughed was Max, I've never wanted to slap someone on the face with a tray before but I wanted to do that to Jimmy for being super annoying, still he was too adorable and Max did the idiotic and infuriating character very well. The girls were all average and Mew was slightly awkward, maybe he wasn't used to be funny character that's why some scenes were super awkward nonetheless I loved his character.
One thing I didn't like was they didn't explain Bee's age from the beginning, if you start the drama without reading the plot you'll be confused a little.
Took me a solid minute to fully understand the plot. Not a huge fan of parallel universes but at least it's better than time-travelling, also the last Thai drama with PU story was not that bad and I liked it so I'm gonna give it a try, plus I love Max so I got enough excuses to check this out π
"... You still scream for your Idol" That's exactly what I did when I saw Jerry Yan πππ I didn't know that he was in the cast as I randomly picked this movie to watch, I loved the story of the young leads and I felt the story rushed a little in the present but for the school part it was worth watching. The movie has a couple of plot holes that aren't that hard to explain but alas they didn't, nevertheless the whole story was so pure and lovely π and the cherry on top was JY presence here even for just a couple of scenes β€οΈ Highly recommended
Did not like it. Too many couples with no backstory, and romance was scarcely present, i wasn't interested in any couples mainly because once I try to focus on a pair they jump into another. I understand the efforts but this was too shallow
That was too long, 30ep was a stretch for a very short story, if it wasn't for that I'd have rated it higher but I lost interest by ep8 or something which isn't even half the number of episodes ~
Ok :) found a familiar comment finally !! What was the other Thai drama ? And also tel me if the viki version…
Oh hey you! π The Thai drama was "till the world ends" same concept but with a few differences in the story, and I didn't compare versions TBH I just watched what I found π
I have just learned that there is a cut and uncut ver. The cut ver. Was terrible enough, can't believe they actually added a few more unnecessary scenes in some episodes π
I've seen many weird Japanese dramas but this one was too bad, it's not the weird idea not the silly story that I didn't like but how they represent everything, the characters and the way it ended was the reason I didn't like it~
There is a difference between "sex" and "having children", one leads to the other yes but there is a lot of people who doesn't want to have children but engage in sexual activities.
This is getting draggy a bit, I didn't like that they jumped immediately to them meeting and falling in love, they didn't even give them time to get used to each other or show who they are exactly which is very important because otherwise no Boss in the world -not to mention someone like Gun- would accept such annoying and intrusive behaviour from an intern and now you still have 3 more EP to go with literally nothing going on, they keep circling around the same matter of them "should not be together" and a few arguments here and there, moreover scenes about work are very little, they only show them flirting at work or "talking" about how their "love" is not a crime and so on. Dude! You are a company owner, you must have a lot on your plate, when did you find time to go to the beach and travel to your lover's hometown ππ ONπWEEKπENDSπ ... I literally die on weekends till somehow I manage to get resurrected to start the infinite loop of "why the fu** am I doing this?" and "do I really need to work?" Maybe it's my fault for trying to rationalize the story/series but it really doesn't make sense if you want to involve some serious matters to discuss.
Waaaa that was draggy!!! Short mini drama that managed to bore me somehow, I don't know what went wrong I was excited when I started it but somewhere in the middle I lost interest.
That was ok, just ve~~eery slow paced, I love the characters development here but it just needed a slight push at the beginning.
Didn't really like the two Main characters very much but I didn't hate their story, Also some parts between the girls were odd to me I don't know if it's a cultural thing but I thought some of their reactions to some moments in the relationships was kinda weird. With a new character popping up every now and then to ruin each relationship for a while they had a lof of things that should have been done earlier like Kyoko's divorce or Arisa leaving her papakatsu but they pushed those stuff to the very end, so they all were hanging their problems for a long time till they finally decided to take serious decisions.
Generally there were a lot of stuff about the story and the characters that I didn't like and I wished they did behave differently in some situations but that's just me.
I' watched yesterday because of Yoo In soo, but this morning when faced with the option of watching BoRa! or this…
I have yet to start it so I'm going by the genre, TYH is not really a great drama TBH lol that's why I think watching just for the cast is a bad idea, there gotta be something interesting to help you through. And try "Queen inhyun's man" if you haven't seen it yet, this one was better ~~

I love In-na and it's been a while since I've watched a rom-com so watching Debora is out of question for me , but here the story is not my cup of tea, family drama and parenting problems are not my thing. And watching a drama for the cast has proven me wrong more than once xD but here goes nothing ~~

This is my weekly self inflicting harm. ππ
