Also although I don't really disagree with you, I can't see that as an excuse enough because that will damage the image of the companies that allowed him to be in a drama of their production he was able to get work because his agency helped him. the termination of his contract wasn't due to his scandal as far as I know, but was because of his behaviour after... Which shows no remorse, none whatsoever!! He kept misbehaving and making troubles, I believe if it wasn't for his bad personality, his agency would keep on getting him offers as if nothing happened. On the other hand that didn't happen to Erika and she was considered a losing game.

The idea was good and I've seen another drama -was Thai I believe - and I like the concept but here I could not follow what was going on, every ep had something that pulls us away from the track set in the previous ep, also I didn't like Ritsu at all, even the end of the whole planet can't help with that, and the whole backstory of how he actually liked Masumi wasn't convincing to me, I could understand the reason Masumi staying because of Yuma, but the duality of him refusing to go back to his abusive mother yet agree to stay with the guy who gave him sex trauma seems a bit contradictory.
That been said the ending was slightly like the other drama where they tried to have slightly open end for the audience was clever and nice 👍 but that's probably the only thing I liked here!! Not trying to be harsh on the series, the sex scenes were hot and acting was on point, but maybe I fell victim for high expectations!!

Haven't seen the drama yet but I read the book, and I can confidently tell you that Jade was the stupidest, most clueless and innocent character ever written in a book!! So no matter how he is presented here I promise it wouldn't be as bad as the book, or at least not worse as he is a complete idiot there😂
PS:not hating on the character or anything, just stating that with such source material it'd be too hard for any Actor to show anything besides a dumb persona because that's literally how he is written~~ 😂🤣
Plot was all over the place really and it came out so weird! There were too many stories told here, like the two MLs story, the ML with the roommate, the 2Side characters, and finally one of the leads family story, all those were told with or without details which made it confusing to watch. There is no character development or background told here, you just have what you got, I'll try not to judge too much because it was made over a decade ago -that is not an excuse TBH I've seen very good movies made even before this one- But I have to say, though I'm huge fan of Japanese BLs, i would not recommend this one ~€
I was kinda going through some old Japanese BL that I watched long time ago and I can't believe I missed this! Actually it was so good, now after over 15 years the plot is too predictable of course, but still the movie was so enjoyable. It deserves to be called a great movie and to be recommended when you watch it after 15 years and still enjoy it!

The series was good, a little draggy and I thought 12ep would have been more than enough to show the whole thing, the story isn't that great it lacks some logic -yes logic in fantasy drama 😂- like why did he became immortal in the first place, the reason is slightly silly, also the whole crime story in the background a bit ridiculous, so the drama has some pretty big plot holes, made worse by it's length but it's not unwatchable.
Acting was good but some characters were very annoying, it was too "beauty and the beast"y, but the FL was too stupid, I think they went for "realistic" personality where she think rationally about the supernatural part and gives it a logical reason but it came out as idiotic, unfortunately! Loved the siblings bickering though I couldn't really see them as such but they were lovely. I have nothing more to say about it, it was good one time watch but nothing so special about it~
Wow! I accidentally found this as a recommendation from another series's page, and it is meant to be released today xD lucky me, though I have to wait a few months for this to be released I think ~~
Just finished it and TBH I'm slightly disappointed, I think 90% of the reason is because they split it I to two, so I don't feel the same excited as I was while watching the first part also the second part is where the story gets slightly slow before the epic final battle.
Did I I enjoy it ? Definitely yes but not as much as the first part and despite having a few holes here and there, everyone on the cast did great.
Also I know it's a long shot but does anyone knows the BGM where Johan appears and "saves the FL" lol Or the like to the whole BGM generally because it was phenomenal and I loved it!!!

Couldn't agree more, the only thing that I don't understand is GMM idea of using the couple in anything before their popularity dies as you said, GMM has actors who appeared in straight/BL, also lately they are trying to mix up BL couples in their new dramas,so I don't really understand the point of doing that.
When I first saw the trailer I expected some big drama with strong romantic story, sadly that did not happen. The story was too cliché, and there wasn't anything interesting about it really, the whole story could be told in one hour movie and it'd fit perfectly. By ep8 I felt like it could end there and the last two EPs were kinda of a stretch.
There were some annoying things for me that made enjoying the drama more difficult, like the reason for Alan and Win break up, I don't think you can just fall out of love with someone without a real reason for it, also the way Jim suddenly welcome the complicated relationship with Win when he fought against it for the first 6ep or so, and he did not show anything - no strong romantic attachment - for Win, except for maybe remembering their one night together and that's it, I think if Win did disappear after that night he would have forgotten him easily, and I have to mention Earth's age, sorry but making a twenty something fit guy who looks his age into an almost forty Uncle with old mindset is just not convincing to me, not saying forty YO guys should look elderly -or even considered so- but here they insisted on showing him long in the tooth, and I see no reason for that he could act his age or 30ish and the story would work just fine.
Overall I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would but not really bad, you could easily enjoy it if you ignore the annoying stuff I stated here or if they didn't bother you~~
