What in the Wattpad is this ~~
Chinese vertical dramas are 3 categories IMHO, one has story and good acting, one is no story and no acting, one is mediocre, highly theatrical guilty pleasure Wattpad stories with accepted acting.
This one belongs to the last category.
It's a cliché bad boy who is obsessed with good girl who done basically nothing aside from showing the slightest bit of kindness ever possible for humans, who is forceful but respect the FL, would break anyone's hand if it ever dare to even think about touching what's his, but at the same time has a moral code to not kill anyone, torture is fine, power harassment is also good, but killing is a no no *Insert Drake meme*
Is it bad?, nope not really it's good, cliché and theatrical yes, but that's what most of those stories are made off, extreme power and obsession with unreasonable behaviour and a little bit of misogyny, also is that Korean I keep seeing on the screen whenever there is a phonecall? What is 소사 and 후은 ?? lol
But hey! This is fiction and we all know better than to judge a vertical drama because of it's story.
