Yeah there were 7 cases , ranging from when the detective was a young man . I also think that if it does get adapted, only a select few cases might be used. Cause it might be tough to cram in everything for a movie.

I want that rumour to come true as well. I have read the novel , the film is supposed to be based on. And I can really see Xiao Zhan play the smart, clever detective role so well.

Is this drama available on viki to watch? A friend of mine wants to watch it but she cannot acess the iqiyi app and YouTube only has the first few episodes.

The drama is also doing pretty well for a military drama. And in terms of drama popularity it is always no 1 or no 2.

Finished episode 24 and 25. And I am really glad at how the character's growth is progressing now. Gao Liang is also improving as he gave GYY some really good advice on wooing AXiu. I too felt like JNZ and became amazed as he showed JNZ his office with all the awards. It showed how hard GL has been working. Also using the time gaps , it showed how time is great healer. I am also really glad that GL told JNZ the truth about her breakup. And in a way watching this episode made me proud of all 3 protagonists, seeing how far they have come from being new recruits to become company commanders and the chief of major military affairs. On the other hand now that GYY is the leader of the first company and GL , the leader of the the ninth company. Their rivalry is going to be interesting to watch. I did feel sorry for sergeant Han but it seems like she will get her happily ever after soon as well.

So this seems like the next episode is the break up episode for Jiang Nanzheng and Gu Yiye. And may I say I am glad. They look cute together but clearly have different priorities now especially Gu Yiye. He seems in no state to be in a relationship right now. As for Jiang Nanzheng now she can fully enjoy her life with Gao Liang who seems to be more suitable for her anyways.

I agree with this. I mean I felt sad that GL couldn't get a proper education and this is his chance to do so. But enough with the my ge and sob story. I just saw the preview for episode 22 and he doesn't seem to have improved.

He filmed this after the untamed. The drama started filming last year during february I think and ended in in august.

I just finished episode 12 I didn't quite understand how Gao Liang became the public servant to the division commander. And I am also so mad at Gao Liang 's character. Like dude, telling your friend that you are going to steal his girlfriend when he is lying sick in the hospital bed is not comforting at all. Also Song Jiangshe is extremely annoying. The only officers who actually seem to care about their soldiers seem to be Commander Qin and Sergeant Zhang fei.

Seems like the jiangsu tv episode previews show some scenes in the preview that do not appear in the iqiyi episodes.

I started watching and am now on episode 8. Got to say I did not expect all the comedic scenes. Also Bai Lu appearing in the first episode was a complete surprise. I knew she had a guest roe but thought she might appear much later in the drama. But I really liked that short scene with Bai Lu as Hu Yang and Xiao Zhan as Gu Yiye. Am hoping to see more from them.

I actually want to see their chemistry develop more.
