Oh we broke 6000 watchers on mdl.

I was wondering is this the type of promo other s+ dramas get. Like no wonder fans fight over promo.

I also saw some sour antis saying that this is not enough promo and the production didn't release a plot driven trailer but most xz fans are so used to getting proper promo that we are thrilled with this promo that we don't care.

Nah other traffic actors dramas air with a lot of promo

The thing is the drama has not aired properly yet to discuss plot and acting. While the previews released today showcased some amazing acting, no t everyone might have seen it. Besides my comment was just a random one on how per day a million resevations are being added.

With the drama breaking 7 million reservations, can it break 8 million before 18th

If you are planning on only watching this show. Better to get a monthly subscription rather than the annual one.

I am fully expecting to get a final trailer probably on Saturday. While the previous trailer was amazing. I think they might release a more plot driven trailer next.

I kust saw that it as 6k heat index. That is amazing considering that the drama hasn't even aired yet.

It is not directly related to the lost tom though. While the story is based on Wang Zanghai the villain from the lost tomb. Only the copyright of the character has been bought and an original script was written so there should be little connection between this series and lost tomb.

It does have romance but it seems to be more of a side plot. Cannot tell the percentage until the drama airs

Currently watching episode 1 and it feels very realistic. So liang xiang comes from a bannermen family. What about the family who invited the salt merchant's wife?

It is not really necessary to watch the other series though. While this drama is based on the character Wang Zanghai who is considered a villain in The Lost Tomb Series. This drama actually only bought the copyright to the character and created an original script. Therefore there will be no relation between this drama and the other series.

Might as well bring the entire mall and get comfy 😂

I am so excited to see xz portraying a gray character. I have been watching edits made from the trailers.

He seems to be the main villain played by Huang Jue.

The villain of that series is called Wang Zanghai. The copyright of Wang Zanghai's story was obtained by this drama production team and a new script was written with a new story hence why the main character name is Zanghai . There is no direct relationship between the tomb raider series and this drama.

So is this kind of like a unit drama with each story having different leads or is it similar to demom hunter roamnce with zhang miaoyi and haung hasen characters being involved in all the stories.

May 17 seems very likely now that CCTV-8 announced the suspense drama is airing on May 5th

Good news is that it gives fans more time to promote the drama. Bad news is waiting for 15 more days😂

Yes

It does not cover the entire book though, just the latter part of the book and a part known as the battle of xiangyang but that part was cut out due to censorship. Since there might be viewers who are unfamilar to the story, the director adds in 20 minutes of background. I only read half the book so the intro was absolutely necessary for a viewer like me.
