Title The Double
What's Duke Su's relationship to the emperor? He's royalty isn't he? So far the emperor seems like a good ruler.…
From what I understood from reading the book. The Princess is the emperor's sister from the previous emperor's another concubine. Xia Fei was the emperor's mother. When she passed away, the emperor was raised under the empress dowager. The previous emperor had another concubine Liu Feiwho gave birth to Cheng Wang and Princess Yongning. The previous emperor supported emperor Hong Xiao becoming the emperor.

oh i see. Maybe they changed it for the drama. And actually it wouldn't make sense for maternal cousins to have so much power.

Anybody that says Wang Xing Yue acting here is bad cannot be taken seriously. He got the role and started shooting…
He is still young and has more time to showcase his acting. His acting is pretty good for now although Wu Jinyan obviously is hard carrying this drama.

Have a question about concubine li. If she was the previous emperor's concubine, how is she the present emperor's concubine. Wasn't that supposed to be taboo. Also is she suppsoed to be the younger sister of jiang stepmother character?

I suppose this is probably what Disney+ meant by this drama being different from other chaebol dramas. Other chaebol dramas I have seen have the chaebols fighting hard against outsiders. I really like the character development they gave Seung Joo and glad that he got his happy ending. It feels like a new bromance might decelop between Seung Joo and Taeoh.

Some more:7. Tae Oh’s mother died8. Hee Ju and Seong Ju’s mother went to jail for a crime we’d never seen…
Do they show the disposal of corpse thing, I probably missed that scene.

Finally this train wreck of a drama won't haunt me anymore. I am glad that the writers gave Huiju a happy ending. Despite promising twists and turns, the drama was quite predictable. As for Hye Won's character, she could have been written out and the drama could have still gone the same path. I still don't understand ehy the writers added all those longing scenes between Taeoh and Huiji and didn't follow them up but I sure hope Choi Heejin and Lee Jae wook reunite in another project because they had great chemistry together. Also choi Heejin as Huijiu was such a scence stealef and hope she gets main lead soon.

Lee Jae Wook was amazing, both his acting and how good he looks in a suit.

It is my first time watching Lee Junyoung but I am planning on starting Brave Citizen next because I am really impressed by his acting.

I just hope the next Disney+ kdrama replacing this slot will be good like the the predecessor dramas on this slot.…
I think the next Disney + drama will be Bloodfree starring Han Hyoo Joo which hopefully is better. Trailer looks good but the Impossible Heir trailer looked good too.

today is make or break for this, they even put Heejoo in the preview for once 🤣
Did they finally realise that she is one of the main factors people are still watching the drama or will she end up being the Impossible Heir after all.

The entirr drama is just sloppy writing. And they still haven't revealed why Taeoh wanted to help out Inha so much. I firmly believe that this was meant to be a 16 episode drama and a lot of scences just got cut.

Title The Impossible Heir Spoiler
Was rewatching episode 10 and have lots of questions. Did Na Hyewon use the chairman's slush funds and use Gold H investments to buy Kangoh's stocks? Like where did they get the money from? Hye Won is so shady that it is so difficult to trust her.

Further more , the chairman saying Kang Inha is not his bloodline to Park Sajin. Does that mean Kang Inha is a fake? This show is making me have so many questions but not giving me answers.

I don't think he is actually dying cause if he dies Inha can easily take over.
Oh i forgot about that. This show has far too many things going on that I am goint to need a powerpoint to remember all the plot points

Lol turned the drama into a makjang with bed ridden chairman, and paper companies. Like I might as well go watch…
And they way the directors and disney+ had the audacity to promote this drama as not your typical chaebol drama but in the end it just uses the same old tropes.

Am just enjoying this show as a makjang at this point. I guess all those plot holes from episode 1 itself should have been a warning. Although I agree that episode 9 and 10 are much better than previous episodes.

I still don't understand Hye Won and Taeoh's motivations. At this point Hye won just exists to help out Taeoh. Same with the chairman. I still don't understand why someone smart as the chairman trusts someone so wily as Hyewon especially to manage his trust funds and even more because they haven't shown anything that indicates that she is good at business.

Also I was laughing at the chairman saying he will give back everything to Taeoh. So basically Taeoh will get his job back , that's it.

he won't, because he will turn out to be her brother
I have seen this theory a lot but I hope it is not true. Mainly becuase I cannot belive kdrama writers would keep us showing scenes of Huijiu pining for her half brother for above ten years. The story will just go into some very weird territory then (even weirder than what is currently shown). But then again the writers of this drama are terrible so I won't be too suprised if it ends up like this 😂
