Title The Impossible Heir Spoiler
How worse can it get? Maybe it will end with TaeOh being The Impossible Heir (there might be a ridiculous twist,…
There was a scene in one of the trailer of Taeoh seeming to be standing in the chairman offices. So i think it might be safe to say that he ends up owning Kangoh. He is wearing a coloured tie whereas as a secretary all his ties were black so that scene might be showing him as chairman of Kangoh. Ba Hye Won will probably continue ro reach a high role in politics judging from another scene in the trailer where she and her boss are meeting the president. She is wearing a white outfit there.

There is absolutely no reason for that to happen. Her character is too immature
Her character is more mature now than some of the other characters like inha and taeoh are acting.

It is kind of sad to see how badly the writers fumbled this drama. Last week I saw a lot of anticipation for the episodes but today it feels very less. Guess a lot of people have dropped it. I too am staying on just because I want to see the ending.

7,4? okay, mostly because of the annoying FL, right? lol, this drama deserves way higher rating, you can't be…
Not just because of the female lead.'s acting. The writing is not the best, there are a lot of unexplained plot holes and the characters lack depth which will explain their actions. Not to mention there is no chemistry between the female lead and the male leads. This drama was promoted as something different,a different type of chaebol drama but in the end it is the same type of drama using too many flashbacks and too many cliches.

I find it interesting tha Huijiu is the only one not affected by Hye wmWon taking over the art centre. Does she really not care about the family business at all. I hate that the writers took such an amazing character and are turning her into an one track minded alcoholic.

Even the chairman whom i felt was the m second most consistent character changed in episode 8. Are we really supposed to believe a paranoid man who does background checks on everyone and is ready to screw over his own children will willingly give an improtant position to someone like Hye won, who as mentioned earlier was working for a candidate he didn't like. Make it make sense.

As to Hye Won being the heir, does she think owning Kangoh is that easy. If she had worked for Kangoh , maybe i could undertand it. Like taeoh and Inha both worked for Kangoh, they understand it's structure and I can understand them becoming the heir. But so far the drama has not showed me anything that she has what it takes to run a business especially a large conglomerate like Kangoh. In fact maybe that's how the writers will end her off, going mad from all the business dealings.

I don't have much expectations for the ending. All i want is a happy ending for Huijiu, but one thing i hope the writers address is show why Taeoh choose Kangoh. Like was there something relatd in his past or I am just going to assume that Taeho had a dartboard with a list of chaebol companies to take over and the dart landed on Kangoh.

What was the point of Taeoh spending all those years as the chairman's secretary only to have no power at all. I meam he had the opportunity to make useful connections but seems like he was jsut too arrogant and got ahead of himself.

Regarding the female lead casting, i saw this comment on reddit which explains it.

"Apparently the director himself requested her for the role as he felt she'd be perfect for it. Maybe he saw one of her cameo roles that she got a bit of audience attention for and liked her. You could speculate forever on his reasoning but in the end it does feel like the wrong choice was made."

Wonder what role the director saw though. In fact i am planning on watching Sweet Home so maybe her acting is better there.

The drama already finished filming though.

at this point, I might be team Kang Seung Joo to be the heir, at least boy is working hard for the company and…
This makes sense. Seung Joo might be an insecure mummy's boy but that is just his upbringing. He understands the business well and has better business capabilites than Inha. Maybe this theory will come true. I still don't understand how the writer will make Taeoh the impossible heir unless he marries Huijiu.

I guess Tae Oh and Hye Won could be redeemed with the audience if the others turned out bad, but realistically…
This is such a valid point. Both of them would probably be ruined socially and the chairman of Kangoh, Taeoh would need lot of social connections so he might not necessarily get together with Hye Won. In fact I have been worndering about this point a lot that someone like he chairman who is so conscious about his reputation let Inha marry Hye Won who has no background at all. She is even working for a political candidate he doesn't like. Even though Inha is illegitimate, he has been acknowledged as the third son so who he marries will have to be impactful and if this was any other drama, half an episode would be spent trying to get the chairman's consent to the marriage

Title The Impossible Heir Spoiler
I keep saying in Facebook groups how the writer solution to make the leads looks good is to make In ha and his…
I have been worried about this ever since Huijiu said that she will marry Taeoh whatever the way. I love her character but am scared the writers will ruin her. Afterall she did grow up in a bit of a dysfunctional family, it is hard to believe that she is the only normal one. I still want to believe in the Taeju ship but I feel the writers will make hyewon and Taeoh end up together.

I keep thinking may be he decided to act in a makjang series and this script fitted him. But thing with makjang…
True. Another possibility is that once the drama was filmed the producers edited it and changed it so that it no longer resembles the original script given to the actors. I have seen this happen a lot in cdramas.

The main thing that is making me mad about this drama is that it was promoted as revenge centric drama, Romance was meant to be an after thought, but feels like the writers are pushing the love triangle and the romance. At this point it can be called a romance drama. Because guy like girl, girl ends with guy 2 and the guy spends 10 years pining for that girl which is generally a plot of a romance drama. They should have just ignored the romance and shown us how Taeoh helps Inha become chairman.

I am honestly wondering why Lee Jae Wook chose this series. Like it is a mess in every aspect. Plot is badly written,…
I keep thinking may be he decided to act in a makjang series and this script fitted him. But thing with makjang series like penthouse and sky castle, the characters depths are explored and you generally end up understanding what is going on. But here no one's motivations are making sense. They should have tagged this dramatic thriller instead of revenge tragedy.

I am interested in how the writer will handle Huichan too. The only way I can see this story going is Huiju getting married to either Taeoh or Huichan now though. Her marriage has been mentioned far too much for it not to be an important plot point.

I hate the whole forced marriage thing, but Huiju does have chemistry with that bad, bad boy Ko Hui Chan. I mean,…
Nah I rather she end up single rather than choose him either. Intially in episode 3 , it was implied that he assaulted a minor in the USA. Not to mention theo nly reason he seems to be trying to win over Huiju is that his grandfather will give him communication rights if he marries her, he says so to Inha. He is also not smart and seems a party boy. I feel bad for Huiju. Her so called love interests are a cheater ( Taeoh) and an playboy/ assaulter ( Huichan).

She is not valued by her family at all expect as a bargain piece in marriage. And even her favpurite brother Inha whom she tried to get acknowledged by the family is now going against her. At jis point I totaly support Huiju in getting Kangoh cause she is shown to have both IQ and EQ.

They are definitely not half siblings heck no that’s weird. Let’s not head into uncanny taboo territory lol.
Yeah usually kdramas don't go for those type of plots. The last kmovie I watched, Kill Boksoon had something like this, but that was an exception

Yeah, some ppl think he's kissing hyewon to spite Inha, which is very much possible haha
I hope they are not shwoing her much becaus she has a bigger role to play otherwise it seems wasterful to give some great lines about foreshadowing. There was a line where she talks to Taeoh about patience when she was being tutored which somehow felt significant. She was also the only other cast memebr together with the main 3 leads at the press conference so I am hoping that she plays a bigger role. Huiju also seems to be smarter but it is not necessarily shown becaue they keep focusing on her crush on Taeoh.
