Adding in Blood River. Although one of the MC's is aggressively paired with the FL, it falls flat in comparison with the 2nd MC who is more like a double ML. They are eternal soulmates.

I agree. I was onboard until the Marriage Stone arc, which also felt like an awkward filler to force them into marriage just for the plot. It kind of felt like the original intent was to have someone who transmigrated into another body, but got changed to something else because she didn't seem to know anything about the world the way she should.

I love Hou MingHao and I really like Lu YuXiao, but their chemistry did not work for me in this one because I felt the writers wrote the characters too bland with no tension. It would have been more interesting to have her secret revealed earlier. I have never dnf'd a Neo Hou drama but I just didn't feel interested to continue.

As others have mentioned, it's a hot issue that invokes the 227 incident that got A03 banned in China and nearly caused people to attempt their lives. It took Xiao Zhan years to get a foothold in his career again even though he had nothing to do with the fanfic and Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan are teased for it every year at award shows (Yibo's seat was 227 last new years and sparked a lot of controversy). Although there's VPN, A03's take down was devastating to a lot of people. This is like rubbing salt in the wound with a similar issue. Although I don't think this author is the author that was caught up in 227, there was a similar story line with a transitioned character and the author of Replay used Yibo and Zhan's names explicitly. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if GMMTV got a warning from their agents, but it's also weird it's a fan fic of real people. GoT7 wasn't as hot a potato, but YiZhan could end careers.

I'd also like to know! Where is it possibly showing if it doesn't include everywhere? It will eventually come out on Gagaoolala (they got ABO Desire and Revenged Love) but viki North America is at least showing if on my "upcoming" list in 3 days. Very weird, I wonder what happened with the license or if Viki asked for exclusivity.

Because of the age gap and type of story this is, with the scenes expected and in the trailers (grabbing her, falling on top, etc), I will sit this one out :( (and Neo looks so good in this too!). I feel bad for Neo Hou and how much backlash he is getting for just doing a job he signed onto first I can see why he was attracted to the role, and for the life of me I can't understand why they cast a young FL, when if they cast a age-matching FL they could have had some amazing chemistry and intimate scenes, since this story seems darker. It's too uncomfortable with how young Ai Mi is (and I think she's an incredible actress). It's not just that she is young, its that she also looks so young it looks wrong on screen too. Even though Neo Hou is very young looking at nearly 30, the pairing does not work. Neo Hou and Ai Mi are professionals, but the production should not have cast them together in a role like this. The industry really doesn't take care of their actors at all.

Does anyone know if this will get internationally released/on viki or at least picked up so international can watch? At this point, I'm willing to watch subs or no. I'll just practice my poorJapanese skills! T_T

YES! The intensity of LB & QJZ's Bromantic relationship was so unexpected I have a drama hangover from it! Those two actors were given an assignment and got a A++ from me, lol. But the dynamic with YZH being added in, and how his life and mind was so muddled from his experience, that was really interesting to see. I felt really bad for QJZ who thought he had it all under control and how he looked when it all fell apart between him and LB when they sat to talk and LB cut ties. It makes me want to go back and rewatch the scenes between them, now that I see the whole story with QJZ and YZH.
