What was this terrible and disappointing ending? Like I could tolerate Sora even though she added nothing to the plot but the ending just sucked. Boss Kim should have just stayed the mysterious Boss Kim which we know nothing about. There was literally no need to add his revenge in for no reason or to drag it out the way they did.
This is one of the dramas for which I wanted a happy ending badly because both the leads suffered a lot but since it's a melo it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities if it ended on a sad note bug what really irks me is this something in the middle ending. I hate when writers use this 'gets worse before better' trope until the last episode especially in the last 10 mins!! There was no need to make Young off herself in the second last episode, no need for Jin Sung to have to stab Soo. Did they even explain how he ended up alive somehow?
This drama had a strong start with great characterization. Clever yet kind male lead, sassy female lead, great cinematography, music and acting. It was a solid 8/10 until the last six episodes when it started to go down episode by episode.
Did they have to make Eunji's character also like Soo? It's so disgusting she fell for the man her sister would have most likely married if she lived. And even if she does like Soo who the hell is she to police who he should like or not 😭 always acting like it's cuz of her sister but she's just a jealous little bitch in reality. God I hate her character
It's a part of Tencent's august dramas list. But seeing the order Tencent posted I guess we will have to wait until Are You The One and Love and Sword have finished airing

I wouldn't know. The drama was filmed back in 2022 so even if she's sick rn I don't think that is the reason why she looked a bit swollen? Honestly, she looks pretty when she dressed up. It's just that she looks too old next to Sohyun and doesn't match the character.
Not really. I am not saying they are ugly. Looks matter a lot in Korean entertainment. I was talking about the supporting cast like Dasom and Yun JiOn anyways.
Also just like Sohyun's past few dramas this one will also flop in Korea. Ppl hate to admit it but this one won't do well not cuz it's plot isn't great or it's boring but cuz of the actors. Hire prettier actors who match their roles and it will do well at least internationally. Right now it is making little noise anywhere.
Sohyun.. popular and has the talent to back it up, I don't understand why she keeps choosing low-budget projects like this one. Even MLL and River Where The Moon Rises were low budget. The thing is, I normally wouldn't notice if a project is low budget but it is somehow glaringly obvious in Sohyun's dramas.
Moving on to the drama itself, the plot is fine. Its nothing especial but if done right it has the potential to hit big. What drags this drama down are the characters and actors. I have no idea why they chose Dasom as the friend. She looks a great deal older than Sohyun and her acting isn't all that. She seems out of place especially in highschool scenes. Secondly, why did they use the first love plot for a second time? Like can we have ONE drama where Sohyun is only involved with 1 guy? She had the ex problem in MLL too and here as well. It's more annoying cuz most ppl already saw them in MLL and now I have a hard time visualizing them as a couple.
I have no qualms with the main couple and their characters and acting. Sohyun is basically playing the same character in every drama now but she's a good actress so it kind of makes up for it.
OSTs are surprisingly good. Overall I don't plan to drop this drama, it has only 8 episodes. But if they give more screentime to Yun JiOn and Sohyun than necessary then it will be really annoying.
Does anyone know what is Zhou Jieqiong's role? She was in the livestream but is still not added to the cast. I read somewhere she will be playing a demon girl so is she one of the antagonists?
