she isnt strong enough to seal qing cang, rather bcoz he passed the method to seal qing cang to her. even so he knew the rest of the heavens would help her. as for her not involving anyone else, that was her own decision. u could see dong hua making visits which means he was aiding as well with keeping him sealed.

su su originally didnt marry him out of love, she clearly mentioned it that she wanted company as it was boring to stay alone with these animals. ye hua was the first to fall for her bcoz of her caring and innocent nature as susu. they get married bcoz thats what he wanted. and it was just 2 3 eps for us however for her it was close to a year, sufficient time to fall for someone. ye hua had only ever been close to her and treating him that way without absolute reverence, rather like a normal person, she was the first one to do that. so he fell for her.

she sold fruits in the market in exchange for rice. she wasnt trying to get rich, she was just passing er days, sustaining herself. she didn't like himan interactions much unless needed aince she didnt even know her name and just found herself suddenly lying in the middle of nowhere. she didnt even live in thw village. she lived far away from human civilization.

she had one task, that was to keep mo yuans body safe. she did just that. apart from being the ruler to a perfectly calm and peaceful land. from the beginning bq loved to drink. that was nothing new. she just went back to her normal lifestyle. ye hua came in uninvited and seduced her, she couldnt refuse either bcoz he was extremely persistent unlike her previous fiance and he was her fiance now who successfully seduced her.

bfj was just a teenager who had her obsession with her first crush. doing everything to be noticed by him, get him to love her. i actually find her character to be fairly relatable. but not all her actions were linked to dong hua. she had her own loyalties too.

as for su jin and xuan nu, yes their entire worlds revolved around guys. xuan nu came from a low origin, wasnt powerful either, needed a man to climb high thanks to her greedy and jealous nature from the start, so she stole another womans man. and just got worse. happens when u r guarding a stolen item. u fear it might get stolen back by original owner. su jin was an orphan but a nominal princess who still had everything served to her on a platter with an easy life. but she took that as her entitlement so instead of cherishing her happy comfortable life she indulged in her one sided obsessive love for ye hua.

el spans over a timeline of 120000 yrs. she entered kunlun at 20k and the great war happened when she was 70k. meanwhile she trained or whatever slacked around under mo yuan being protected and spoiled by him. after mo yuans death she stayed back looking after his body and doing nothing else. qc returns when she is 140k. ye hua comes back 300 yrs later. so 120.3k yrs, more than any other xianxia drama i have ever seen. even alp spans just over 60k yrs. 58 eps arent enough to show everything. they hinted at her leisurely life for the most part. only the dramatic parts are the story. the time at kunlun wasnt very dramatic, yet we got the gist of it from what was shown, causing mischief, having fun, training a bit. the time after the war was the least happening.

this xianxia was one of the firsts i watched, to this day i love it but thats for other reasons. bftb, tlosl, and all the others u mentioned i have watched them all except mm. stortlines are vastly different. bftb isnt even entirely xianxia coz most characters are mortals, the double is NOT a xianxia. loved tlosl, tteotm was quite good. mm i am yet to watch it but i have done its parent stories. but again, they all span over much much smaller, a fraction of the time frame of this. so u might feel that their love stories were well developed and had extremely different stories. its like comparing pizza to flatbread. just bcoz both are made of wheat foesnt mean they can be compared. el didnt even focus much on the fight scenes. bq is heavily flawed, but has her growth. it is a second chance romance between a couple which is a significant difference between all the series u mentioned.

did u forget the whole part of her killing herself was bcoz of su jin, another woman who got married to her husband and constantly fed her ears with poison? isnt it just right for her to be aggrieved? and leave a man who has long since had another engagement before her and now she sees him protecting her over herself, and being made to feel like she is the other woman who came in between childhood sweethearts? her leaving him was completely justified. she didnt even know that it was her trial until it was over and she died as a mortal. he didnt know either. she chose to forgwt him bcz of the incredible pain and anguish he caused her when she was with him, not bcoz of mo yuan. if anything, after forgetting him, she went back to her normal life which was caring for mo yuan and waiting for him. bai qian was extremely proud natured from the start. so obviously she wouldnt put up being treated like that after she got back her memories.
and later ye hua was the one who relentlessly tried to get her back, seduced her, not the other way around, bcoz of his own feelings for her. he also felt guilty to some extent bcoz of what happened. she didnt beg him to help her save mo yuan either, she was full well capable of doing that herself. yes ye huas help made it easier.
was ye hua more in love with bq than bq with him? fs. 100x more.
do i rather bq and mo yuan ended up togetehr like in the movie? yes 100%. their love convinced me more than bai qians love for ye hua either way. but to say that she was sleeping with yh to save mo yuan, thats bs.

#1 the other brothers of bq were also given their own turfs so they were out ruling their own lands. didnt have much to do with the story. bfj howwver was the only grandchild so her father was involved bcoz of the grandparents interference in her life. so even tho her father had his own land, she mostly stayed by her auntie. bai zhen too had his own land, but spent most of his time with zhe yan hence we saw him a lot. bq and bai zhen were the closest siblings so serves that we see him so much. .
#8 is bcoz bq got married nd before that, she announced and passed on her throne to bfj. so even tho bfj was still just a fairy, she became the monarch of qingqiu.
and also #2, ye hua being a dragon, i believe ye huas father is a dragon too, they are all from the dragon clan, not sure of his mother. ye huas 3rd uncle is a silver dragon, ye hua is a black one. mo yuan should also be a dragon. his spiritual essence was placed in the golden lotus by primordial god howvwr that wasnt his true form. in one ep bq or bfj said that the dragon clan marries multiple wives indicating that ye huas full lineage is dragons. also until mo yuan revealed that ye hua was the golden lotus and his twin brother, nobody in the heavens knew that ye hua was the golden lotus or his twin brother. so yes everyone obviously considered ye hua to be the blood grandson of heavenly emperor, the son f 1st prince.
#5, i believe that was bcoz of the fact that she chose to forget about him like it didnt matter to her at all and also the fact that she fed him her hearts blood for thousands of years, and that rumours about unusual relationship between si yin and mo yuan, and her actions repeatedly proved that mo yuan compared to nobody else in her heart. everything convinced him that she loved mo yuan. personally, ngl, i am still convinced she was unaware of the love she had for mo yuan.
#9, yh was the crown prince. by the end of elod, we see that the current heavenly emperor is still alive so obviously they dont get to take the throne. since their marriage is shown in elod, she becomes the crown princess, not the empress yet.

mo yuan and zhe yan were brought up by mo yuans father, the primordial god. dong hua most likely was too, so the 3 of them grew up togetherbut arent related by family. however dong hua later conquered and united all the realms and became the emperor and after some time abdicated the throne to the now heavenly emperor, who is the father of the 3 princes.

if u judge a 66 ep drama by watching the 1st 5 eps, ofc it will feel incomprehensible for u. anyway its your choice, but its an absolute gem, old but classic

i dont remember having a most favorite scene, rather the first arc in the palace with wuji is unforgettable and my favorite. i loved it to bits. this one ranks #1 in my list of faves too n i have watched too many dramas as well haha

this drama has multiple arcs. she grows throughout, there are adventures, as for the powers sealed, through her adventures she unlocks them one by one. id say it dragged a bit in the second arc but that was only after ep 22, personally i completely loved this first arc, pei yuan is indeed killed by her in this arc itself, she is actually a beginner in martial arts when it started, she is no badass in terms of power early on, but she rises later. she is just 16 if i remember correctly when it begins, and no skilled warrior or anything, just trying escape her slave status. slowly she navigates both palace n political conspiracy as well as unsealing her powers and all happens along the way. i personally loved this drama a lot, but its your choice. 66 eps is a long journey, a lot of things happen.

i found him to be someone to be filled with an intense inferiority complex with a victim mindset, borderline pathetic. its as if everyone wronged him and he was the victim in everything 😑
