XinXin did a great job in grabbing bts during filming, planning and making who knows how many videos, and promoting it so well during release! Shine on Me is a at max an 8 drama and highly overrated imo. At least in this drama, couple are natural and have a friendly disposition, no fake fluff here! I would give it 8.5 , better than SOM any day.

I was not expecting to start liking this drama...what a pleasant surprise!! I prefer Lu Yuxiao in this modern setting. Very promising so far, on episode 8.

We needed those deeper and longer conversations between the main leads, and not dorami! I think this is the only part that was missing for me apart from the drama being unable to settle on a genre, but I can live with that since the acting was good.

The comic breaks are really well placed in this drama. Hiro is hilarious ! Dorami interludes are freaky! This is a good technique in an otherwise what someone called a melo setting.

You didn't get the drama, in the second half ml is speaking in a language that can comfort the fl, and not scare her away again into hiding behind her alterego dorami. The break ups are not break ups.

Many people don't understand why we are deep into the drama. For me, It's in Jin Zhao's long pauses, his caring "wanting to hug her" sighs from afar, the deep breath and heavy gulp as he looks up at her standing in the balcony, his quiet eyes gently blinking like tender kisses on the forehead, his loving stare needing to forever protect her, and Jiang Mu being fearless in her love and adoration. This is the magic woven by the team of Speed and Love and only good writing and direction with talented actors could have brought it to life like this!! 🔆🌘
