I do the same...I don't know what psycho analysis of viewers has been done to create this drama because it feels a lot like home, and love, and comfort, a safe space to feel all the feelings.,.a rare drama that I know I will keep coming back to knowing it will hold me together in a warm hug and let me be.

I started watching SAL again ...back to episode 1 and noticing so many little things. Episode 1 is so well made, I want to congratulate the screenwriting and direction for handing the story and actors sooo sooo well! There's a subtle charm, an obvious connection between the leads, and the music is what really blends it together so well. I cannot gush enough about this series. 2026 is an year of momentum, this is the only thing keeping me a bit rooted at the moment.

It is unbelievable that something like that can be a hit. I do see that people are crazy over it, but it has nothing to give except some good snow shots! Ski into love was better !

That drama (SOM) is simply insufferable and still the leads are being promoted so much. Our He Yu and XinXin deserve so much more !!

This is so relatable...upto 16 and then I jump to 21...the future episodes are sooo good! I love that both Jiang Mu and Jin Zhao have progressed in life, and the sweet serendipity of Nanjing and meeting again, and the Cafe and Lightning...it is chef's kiss on what was already so good!!!

That review is top rated here because it addresses all the criticism directed towards the drama. There is no need to be so disrespectful towards viewers who enjoyed this extremely entertaining and well made production. In fact some of the ratings are rage bait reviews deliberately marking the drama low, I mean rate the plot low, but the music is top notch, the direction is great, actors are mwaah... Giving this 5 for music is clearly misuse of the rating feature on this site.

Just notice how genuine critical reviews , including mine, have been massively downvoted despite likes. MDL is proving to be a stupid place for real engagement.

Thank you for being respectful in your response! It is unbelievable to some that a vast audience does not like technically over correct but emotionally unresponsive actor blocking. Nothing worked out in this drama. I feel bad for the leads for what it could have been. They are not responding to each other, they are just acting.
