In the novel, the proposal is quite an elaborate affair up on a hot air balloon. If I remember correctly, it was a diamond.

It's so strange to now be in 2026 and the series is already part of the past year, the weeks of daze of its entirety has not been easy to overcome. Yet, the farther we go the sadder it feels , the comfort of that world is leaving us behind and life is shoving us back to reality, to work and responsibilities, . This has been my safe space for December, feeling a warmth and safety that only few shared experiences can bring. I wish I could live in those moments forever.

What a sinister ploy!! Take heart , the fact that it's still high despite it all is a testament to the quality of this drama! Wattpad or whatever, we have been mesmerized by the lead pair, the racing, the emotions, the colors, the music... The success of the production is undeniable.
