It’s a time travel plot (via a magical artifact). In the beginning, FL is just sending stuff back through time and that was great (ML thinking she was a goddess and FL sending stuff like machine guns 😂)
But overall the progress of the drama was too slow for my taste. At least both of them made a nice pair and I liked how ML’s character was written.
The plot is nothing new (ML allergic to women except for FL. FL getting abused by her family. One night stand leads to marriage) But at least the ML is handsome and lovely 🤷♂️😅
I feel like this version started out great with a very likable and handsome ML, quickly progressed and made me want to watch the series on fast forward because the dynamics and progression were so consuming. BUT after 10/11 ep it totally tipped over and started to disappoint me greatly. It felt like ML's character evolved backwards instead of forwards (just to keep the plot going?), he became totally unlikable and a real assh*le to put it bluntly.
I love the whole universe with all the different adaptations and as far as the first 10 episodes go, it was the best version. But looking at all the drama versions as a whole, this one wasn't my favorite. (And only because of the second half). It became one of those dramas that made me wish FL had married 2ML. I believe this version would have been better by far, if it used the second half of the drama like the Taiwanese version uses the second season. Then it would have been a perfect series.

Well, when I saw a poster like that I thought it was a bit more part of the plot 🥲 I mean, the clickbait totally worked for me, but in hindsight I was beyond frustrated lol Thanks for the clarification, though 🫶🙏 (And considering that kids in Chinese dramas are often geniuses (hackers, doctors and so on), how can the adult men not have 3 careers! If they didn't, they would be the biggest failure of the culture lol 🤣🤣)
I don't understand the poster at all. It's f*cking misleading. It hints at a similarity to the plot as seen in Descendants of the Sun or something. But nothing is comparable. The ML is a pilot. He doesn't wear a soldier's uniform at all. The FL is a doctor, but she doesnt really leave the “standard hospital”.
To me this is just disappointing because I wish it was a similar drama to the poster, I bet it would have been much better 😕.
So if you're like me and you're looking forward to a different plot, you should know that it's not going to happen.. 🥲
Loved the husband. He was devoted and adored/loved his wife dearly, even though she did a lot of mean stuff to him. Pretty interesting concept as well (waking up in the future, instead of the past)
Revenge plot setting. ML saved FL as a kid and trained her in material arts. She becomes the bodyguard of her enemies to get revenge with the help of ML.
Romance vise it’s pretty lacking. There is a connection and one kiss as well as a forehead kiss but it’s definitely not the main focus.
Well, it's been a while since I last saw a scum ML. What a useless man. Leading a double life for 3 years and not even able to speak openly to his girlfriend.
...so you see, this is one of those dramas where you really have to keep your anger in check 😤 (the f*cking flashbacks of him with a sad/pitful look on his face only make it worse. Like he's not the one making decisions, treating her like dirt, what a fucking joke).
And honestly, what was the plot? Going around in circles forever? This has to be hell lol
The first night after marriage was the funniest thing ever! From “Oh wow, ML is bold and wants to do it right away” 🔥 to “What? He just stops in the middle to check if she’s hurt because he didn’t know she is a virgin?” 🤨 to “After 3 years together with her Ex she’s still a virgin and is surprised that he sleeps with another women?” 😂
Other wise, this drama is nothing special. It’s the typical betrayed by the Ex, needs to marry asap (while the Ex and his new girl are weirdly fixated on the FL 🙄)

He’s a great actor in all of his roles but I especially liked him in dark/bit of crazy roles, he never disappoints 😋
By the way: the princess / knight concept was pretty interesting ❤️
