Practically the same plot as “Out of Control Starlight”. Difference: The actors in this one are far more handsome (imo) but the plot is more defined in the other one.
Wow, that was bad (plot-wise). I mean, it's clearly a high quality production, but it has so many flaws imo. For example:
1. ML's acting. No matter the situation, he either looks happy or neutral, but I feel like he lacks emotional depth (where's the sadness or regret or grief for example?) 2. the plot annoyed me (caution, may contain spoilers): First, the way he made her leave sucked. I mean that was the thing he thought of to protect her/for her own good? Are you kidding me? Second, I hate the plots that are supposed to be revenge plots but are resolved after a second. There are just important scenes missing. (She had scars and stuff, and he's like, “Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that,” then the typical knife act ensues and voila, let's forget everything that happened and play happy family. It's annoying as hell. But that's just my own opinion...
Overall, I just wish they had done more with the high quality filming.
If you're here for BL... be prepared for it to be on a platonic level only. There is no intimacy or kissing. The plot is ok and I like the strong bonding. There is an alternate version of the plot (with super good looking actors 😍 “ Reach for the Stars “) but unfortunately, the plot of the other version is not as coherent as this one.
If you're in the mood for a short BL, I'd rather recommend “Be Moon” (it's more explicit than this one).
Agreed! Which tropes would you want to see reversed?
Honestly, any trope where the FL is the one with the power (like MLs usually are) would be fine. I loved the Harem–Reverse that came out recently, but I'd also love to see Mad-Dog FL + blind ML or Villain FL + Time Traveling ML or...(I could literally go on forever, but the first two would be pretty interesting and unique to watch, I think 😂)
What about you, what trope would you like to see in reverse?
I'm watching episode 4 right now and this show is so sweet it makes my teeth hurt. I'm still debating whether this is a good thing or not.... let's see how it continues 😅
Ok, so it was bearable so far with the medical accuracy but I'm currently halfway through Ep 4 and they just let…
It's better not to think about accuracy while watching the show. Just the beginning or when they first fly with the helicopter the first time give big hints about the setting of the show (= dramaland, not real life) 😅 I mean, they partly use it as a stylistic device so I got used to it and for me, the show was still (or even geared with it?) entertaining 🤷♂️
Originally, I anticipated this drama because of First and Khaotung, but honestly: Joong and Dunk are so f*cking hot 🥵🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ They are definitely worth the watch, too 😍😍😍 (in my opinion, they kind of steal the show lol 🔥❤️🔥)
The other version is with Huang Bo as ML right? I like that version more too because I cried multiple times, which…
Yes, I think it was him! I thought both actors were more suited to the role, just like you, I think they portrayed the emotions much better so the audience could empathize better
Wow!! Add me to the people who binge watched this series, it was brilliant! At first I had to get used to the silliness here and there but god d*mn this series is catching!
Loved the actors, loved the plot, loved the humor and I definitely want to see a season 2 ❤️❤️❤️
It's the yin&yang story where the yang ML needs the body of a pure yin FL to live on 😅. Even though I love the ML (because he's always a bit overdramatic, with a very good touch of craziness), I liked the other version of this drama more.
......😑 This is a reverse plot of the dramas where ML treats FL badly. Only in this case, FL is the horrible person. I don't quite understand why they have to do a reverse plot with the worst trope ever 😩 I mean, there are so many good dramas that I would love to see as a reverse plot, but no, they chose this one 🥲
For example:
1. ML's acting. No matter the situation, he either looks happy or neutral, but I feel like he lacks emotional depth (where's the sadness or regret or grief for example?)

Too bad it was low budget, I wish I could have seen a longer drama with a more detailed story 🥲
I mean, they partly use it as a stylistic device so I got used to it and for me, the show was still (or even geared with it?) entertaining 🤷♂️
