Ok. Ow, I've seen all 11 episodes now and... the ending of 11 is a bit too silly for my taste... i hope the silliness doesn't take up too much of ep 12, i'd rather have a nice, long and wholesome ending like the part with the family in ep 10

On the other hand, I’d like this series to go on forever… the pairing is just 🔥🔥🔥 love the actors and the characters are very well written.. why can’t they do more series like this one 😩❤️❤️

It's a bit of a shame, the plot should have been used in a longer, more defined form as it's a bit different to the usual.

FL got divorced (and told ML if she could have kept the child, she would have given ML another chance 🤦‍♂️). Then you see that she actually gave birth without knowing it (even if she was given anesthetics, how could you not notice the belly swelling?🤦‍♂️) ML took the baby secretly🤦‍♂️. 3 years later, reunion with the child. So far, so bad.
But even worse is that FL made a drama out of the fact that ML lied before, but after she found out it was her child.... She's acting more like “well, who cares” than anything else.
And that seems to be the general feeling at the end (among viewers, actors and writers). I, at least, wanted it to be over at last. 😑

In my opinion, it's not ML's best work.
The plot is a weird mix of better and worse, using all kind of tropes that sometimes make no sense, sometimes are a bit too silly (FL is discharged from the hospital only to be readmitted in the next scene...)

The worst part is the ending, which lost all sense of reality (and emotional acting, I guess the actors just wanted to finally wrap it up too..to find out more, click on the spoiler below)

1. Of course ML isn’t a eunuch ;)

2. It’s a happy ending. FL stays in the other timeline and they’re together.
But overall, the ending is messed up, because there are some missing parts.
For example, ML lost his eyes and got poisoned but miraculously, in the end he survives and has his eyes back. How did that happen? Viewers will never know..

Also, it would’ve been nice to see ML‘s reaction on FL being pregnant. I feel robbed that they didn’t include this part :(

That was actually pretty entertaining!
+ ML is a great actor
+ FL did a good job too (and her character was intelligent and could defend herself, kinda shocking lol)
+ The plot was interesting and not the usual copay paste story

The ending was a bit messy though.
If you want to know more, let me tell you about the eunuch part (1st) and the ending (2nd) in the spoiler below.

Since FL was thrown into a script at the beginning, it ends with her back in the normal world. She meets with a publisher in a cafe and in the last 5 seconds you see ML entering the cafe but he doesn't recognize FL at all.
(and in the script version, ML dies saving FL)

Unfortunately the translations were a bit off, I couldn't really understand some parts.
For example: Where does the daughter come from (who is the mother?)
Or did I get it right that ML had a marriage contract with another woman (is she the daughter's mother?)
And if so, is FL just the mistress?

All in all, the plot was a bit rushed and the ending was...disappointing. See spoilers below if you want to know why.

I also thought about Forever Love after seeing the poster, but sadly, it’s not even close.. 🥲 thanks for the tip with Dual Love, I’ll definitely check it out :)

Aaaaahhh....😵😵😵😵 Now it's even worse, they stole from us so much 😭😭😭😭 (But thanks for a least giving us a glimpse of what could’ve been 🥲)

You are so lucky, I wish I could see it too (I love Studio Ghibli and the combination with Mashiko Atsuki sounds like the most beautiful dream to me ) 🥹❤️

Another one of those “I'm only doing this for your own good because I have money and love you” dramas (manipulation, coercion, blackmail, choking, etc).
Not my thing, even if the ML is a gangster (which I usually like, but not in this way).

Personally. I'd recommend watching „You've Been Tricked“ instead. The ML is a “demon” too, but at least he takes care of FL and doesn't strangle her or anything.

This is a beautiful and interesting thing. ML is very handsome, and the two have great chemistry!!!🔥
The story is well done, only certain parts could have been a bit more detailed. But for a short drama, it's definitely recommended!

If you like a sweet and mushy endings and an all around caring ML, you should definitely check it out ☺️

The Double is still on my plan to watch list (shame on me) because I've seen people say similar things about the romance aspect 😅 but both dramas seem great and I'll definitely be watching them soon 🥰
