It’s a bit funny in an ironic way. 😅 ML says SML treats FL like a dog, but does exactly the same thing himself (manhandling her, patronizing her, unwanted help, doesn't tell her anything and just decides for her because he knows everything better anyway.. and on top, supplements the whole thing with s*x, where FL doesn't really give her consent 🤦‍♂️)

Side note: getting an aphrodisiac isn't a trope for short dramas anymore, it feels more like it's 100% necessary to be even called a short drama (I can't remember the last time I saw a short drama where no one got an aphrodisiac 😅)

But what about the end ? 🥲

...whether it's worth it? I read that there is no kiss and no happy ending... my heart can't take a bad ending and I usually only watch romantic dramas. The pictures of the drama look nice and the plot sounds interesting and I'm kind of undecided. So could someone who has seen it please tell me (objectively) if I should give it a try or skip it? 🤔

(Either they don't kiss, or it was all just a dream in the end, or ml dies in the end, or it's censored like hell, or it's canceled altogether because of censorship, or...) 😤

First of all, I love ML's actor, but....
This drama deserves to be in the top 10 dumbest plots of all time.

Don't think it gets better after the first stupid trope is over, oh no no no! The writers are trying to get worse and worse with their bullshit. FL‘s nonsensical behavior gets so bad that the writers even let ML ask all the obvious questions (no kidding!!) like:

“Why do you always throw me away like garbage?” or ”Are you stupid?” (No kidding, he honestly asked her the obvious lol)
Or another person: “Why didn't you tell me you were Jingshu?”

And you know what? The questions remain unanswered for both the questioner and the viewer, because even the writers know that there is no reasonable answer left...🤯🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Honestly, like I said, I love ML, but if you can't handle stupid, incoherent plots (played out by poorly written female characters with some kind of brain damage) you better skip this drama.

The first half of the drama was great (interesting plot, nice actors, good chemistry, beautiful costumes..)

But the second half was the biggest disappointment. Let's just say it went downhill fast and couldn't recover 😑 (similar plot (!) as the first half, just peppered with every stupid trope possible. Suddenly all of FL's cleverness vanished into thin air and all that was left was 100% clichés 🤦‍♂️)

This drama is frustrating because all the annoying tropes have been exploited to the max.

If SFL at least got whipped for a few times (like a certain other person), it would have been a little better. I mean, how many times can you try to kill someone so obviously without getting any punishment?

This drama makes me want to roll my eyes constantly. 🙄😑😑😑

Unfortunately I saw them too late lol I struggled through the drama and it remained just as frustrating for me as it was in the beginning.
Not every drama is for everyone, and this one definitely wasn't for me. In short, what irritated me the most was the plot and the way the characters were written. It didn't fit together at all and made them kind of unlikeable to me.

But like I said, that's just my opinion and I hope everyone can accept that other people have different views without hating.

I'm watching episode 5 right now and I'm pretty bored so far. Will it get better later, or will the pace be maintained and they'll dance around each other forever?

I really want to know whether it's worth continuing or whether I'd better stop if I don't like it so far.

I don't want to dash your hopes, but do you know who Taiwan belongs to? Unfortunately, the political situation is not as great as it used to be.
Besides, there are a trillion other reasons why a drama gets canceled 😕

I've seen too many abandoned and/or lost BLs in the past, mostly because of censorship. I have no hope anymore. But maybe Lady Luck can help, I'm crossing my fingers 🍀

overall, my heart can't take this kind of thing anymore. I wish they would film a whole drama (every single episode, favorably air them all at once and make the fans happy and not do something like this, just film half a series, it’s just too cruel.. 🥲)
