Someone in the comments said it was a happy end. The person lied 😑 Don’t get fooled like me.
Oh wow, that's pretty sad in my opinion. For me, a happy ending has a lot more positive aspects than an uncertain, open ending, but as I said, opinions differ.

Opinions differ and that’s okay. Personally, I think that an open ending with a positive note (rather than a 100% sure happy ending) was definitely intended, because life is not always easy and requires work, and no one can guarantee that the results will be to their liking.

The fact that they meet again doesn't mean they'll end up together, and even if they do, it's still a long way to a happy ending because Soo Hyuk doesn't exactly seem to be jumping for joy. It's an open ending with a positive note at best, literally in the last 30 seconds of the last episode.
Thanks for sharing! I was really shocked about Kazuto, I couldn't recognize him at first, what happened to him?…
Oh yeah, you're 100% right about Dai!😆 Sadly, I didn't notice Tae much in the show (like you said, he didn't have enough screen time unfortunately). The first time I really noticed him was towards the end when he was talking to Shun (saying such meaningful and helpful words 😌), and all in all it's a shame because after his conversation with Shun and even more so after the reunion and the night show, I feel like he's a really interesting person that I'd like to see and learn more about.. Glad to know you understand 🫶 We should definitely start a petition to get Usak to start drawing now lol ❤️

Me too 🥰 I already watched the content of the first link and everyone was cute as always!!! And I'm especially happy that I got to see Shun holding Dai's hand!😍They really are such a cute couple, so let’s both keep our fingers crossed that it works out with them! (When Dai said, "We threw the pot on the carpet", I couldn't help but think "we"? 😅 Dai is still very respectful lol) By the way, I was pleasantly surprised at how well Taeheon cleaned up! I was shocked at how good he looked. And I'm glad that he's apparently still friends with Ginsei and that his coming out to his parents went well. And I thought it was cute (and the truth) when he called Shun a princess 😂
Ok, sorry for my rambling, you can see I'm always excited about everything around the show, so thanks again for the tip about the video, it was a lot of fun to watch ❤️❤️❤️ (now my only wish is for Usak to draw a Manga about Dai and Shun lol)

Thanks again, I didn’t know about the first link!! 🙏🙏 I watched their channel, but the fear of Shun doing another 180 remains.... 🥲 I mean, you can never be 100% sure with him.... But I really hope for both of them that it works out and they become happy ❤️ And my first thought about Kazuto was also that he bulked up (and I started to hope that he had a relationship with Usak and that's why he became like that 😜❤️), but his face looked so different too, and that confused me a lot... Also, I can't help but wonder what was really the reason for his change..
Hello All! Could you please spoil me with two things! In what episode do the main leads get together? and, do…
It depends on how you define "together". They are together and have great chemistry throughout the drama! (They like each other pretty early on, no break up and no annoying love triangle, at least none of the main characters are interested in anyone else!) But together in the sense of "let's do it together" is much later.
Netflix added Eng subs to the boys' reunion and reaction vid7 Month Reunion & Watch Party (EN subs) | THE BOYFRIEND…
Thanks for sharing! I was really shocked about Kazuto, I couldn't recognize him at first, what happened to him? And seeing Dai crying made me really sad.... 😭 I wish Shun would show his caring more openly and hug or hold Dai's hand in moments like this.
Ok wow, I just binge watched through this and now I need to get a few things off my chest:
1. I waited forever to watch this because i had serious preconceptions about the reality TV format. BUT damn, all my thoughts leading up to this were wrong. So if you're like me and are hesitant because it's a reality show: please, please, please, give it a try! I definitely did not regret watching it!!!❤️🫶❤️
2. I seriously loved every single person on this show!!! Everyone individually was just so lovable. BUT if I had to choose one person I like the most, it would be Dai. I think he's a great person, I love how he openly shows emotions, is honest, direct and just caring 🥲 (my secret second favorite would be Gensei, I want to hug him)
3. I really like seeing Dai and Shun as a couple, BUT.... I'm sorry to say this, even though I wish the absolute best for the two of them because they are adorable together, I feel like Shun has a lot to learn about healthy relationships. I understand where he's coming from and I understand why he does what he does, but if he's not careful, he'll create self-fulfilling prophecies (and I don’t mean good ones) 😕. I really hope that Shun will be able to take more initiative in the future and reach out to Dai and return the care and love he receives in equal measure.
Last but not least... They have all really grown on me and from the bottom of my heart I wish each and every one of them a fulfilled and happy future 🥹❤️
Edit: I just watched the 7 month reunion on YouTube…what the heck happened to Kazuto? I had to watch his entry twice cause I couldn’t recognize him the first time 😅
Still watching the show, but I feel like Kazuto and Usak would’ve made a great couple… I’m sad that he left the show early. (And sorry for all the ones who shipped the other pairing, no hate, but it’s kinda obvious to me that Kazuto and Alan won’t work out..)
The beginning was strong, I especially liked the boldness of FL. But the amnesia trope ruined it for me and sadly, the ending fell way too short, like they ran out of time and needed to finish it up..
I didn't know a sports drama could be so dialog-heavy .. fewer episodes wouldn't have hurt 😅
Ok, now I've finished watching it and I'm really sorry to say this, but it was boring until the end. There was a tense moment for me at the beginning when ML challenged the new coach, but that was it. The romance was really underwhelming (and unconvincing on FL's part) and the lack of emotion could fit a documentary rather than a drama.
And honestly, I'm saddened by such harsh words because the drama had so much potential (obviously a high budget drama, an excellent top actor, an interesting setting,...) but it just went nowhere. The romance was the most disappointing part. They could have just been brother and sister, it wouldn't have changed anything 😕 (Seriously, I watched till the last minute hoping something big would happen between them, but nope....nothing). Even the second couple developed faster 😑
This is just my own opinion, please don't be mad at me if you have a different one.
My personal piece of advice: if you've seen the first third of the drama and are wondering if you should continue (hoping the pace will change later): better save your time. .
Well...that was mediocre at best :/ (which makes me sad. The plot had potential, but the way it was executed could have been much better in my opinion)
I don't know why everyone only hates Zee while Sprite keeps making promises and not keeping them with no regrets. I don't know why they start and end with this particular thing, all it tells me is that he's not a very nice person towards First (and doesn't hold First's interest high). Personally, I’m not very fond of those types of people, but that’s just my opinion.
