Ok, here is my conclusion after watching this one (sorry for the long post)
What I liked + the number of shirtless scenes (yay, free them all!) + the basketball plot + the main couple (they were so cute together and complemented each other well) + the plot didn't get boring at all + Some of Ryu's lines were just hilarious "Let's make some good memories" I didn't know you would call it that lol
What I found... questionable - The weird gay mafia/nude club or whatever it was - The over-dramatization of the above point (I mean, how many times can you get pistol-whipped? They really liked that action, huh? It would have been better if the wounds on his face matched it, lol) - The parts where Zen seemed totally emotionally retarded, I mean he could have talked a bit more here and there (something like: Hey, you hurt me pretty bad with your hot and cold behavior 🥲 Or: Atom, I have a freaking boyfriend 😑This part was really annoying, I mean he even hugged Atom half naked and slept in the same bed even though he already had a boyfriend, come on..no one can be that naive, that was just freaking mean and disloyal to Ryu, but don’t let me get to the end where he just doesn’t talk to Ryu about important stuff at all. How is this love? That’s fucking selfish shit, I’m sorry, but that was the dumbest part of the whole drama, even dumber than the nudist club 🤦♂️
By the way, I was a bit surprised that everyone else was shocked by the final scene considering how often they like to...shower.... 😅😅😅
Anyway, over all I quiet liked this one (even if the end annoyed me to no end).. I’ll definitely rewatch in the future
I just watched it for the second time (the first time was years ago..) and here's my summary 1. I like it better…
I mean it’s hinted that he has a brain tumor or something and talks about how she would live without him.. does he die in the novel or is his illness curable?
I just watched it for the second time (the first time was years ago..) and here's my summary
1. I like it better than the Thai version (I watched both back to back, and although the Thai version is ok, this one is better in my opinion (FL's role is more important, makes more sense, is more coherent to the plot. I like the added drawings of the snail and the lion, the case is more interesting, no unnecessary side characters (like the Borother in the Thai version), I prefers the ML in this one over the other,….) 2. All over, I liked the actress of FL much better the second time watching it 3. the romance is not in the foreground, but that's more than ok and the ending is (romance wise) more than satisfying for me (for me, they somehow make more sense together than the thai pairing)
Just one important thing left to say: has anyone read the novel? I'd like to know if the thing ML talks about at the end comes true or not.... 🥲 (see spoiler below)
Sadly, I could only find the first 12 episodes (with horrible subtitles) BUT nonetheless I couldn’t stop watching. I liked the mains (but the SML creeped me out), both were beautiful (especially ML, he looks like a chinese version of the Ken doll 😅) and did a great job. The plot (as far as I understood what happened) was interesting, too. Hopefully, I will get to see the second half of the drama in the future..
It's hard to watch... 1. the subtitles are AI-generated and pretty bad 2. as mentioned in the synopsis, the drama starts with a “forced consummation” which literally means ML raping FL and imprisoning her for 5 years afterwards
I haven't finished watching it yet, but personally I have a big problem with a romance plot starting with rape...
Pond and Phuwin are so pretty to look at... only Pond's hair annoys me, I constantly have the urge to either cut it or braid it to get it out of his face -_-;
After watching it for the millionth time I still can’t figure out what did Da Un whisper in Si Wons ear’s…
Same. Logically, I'd say he told him he was going to be a photographer or cinematographer instead of a filmmaker (because he said he likes people/pictures more than stories/scripts, and that would explain why SiWon asked “because of me?” (so he won’t be his competitor)). But I don't understand why he has to whisper it....
Wow, I'm pretty pissed right now. I'm a die-hard “Sweet Home” fan, but season 3 was just so damn disappointing and underwhelming. I'm especially angry about the editing. Unnecessary scenes were extended ad infinitum and the important ones were cut out, what the hell! What happened to the bad guy, for example? Why was that cut out? Shouldn't that be an important scene? But no, instead we get flashbacks, they sure saved a lot of money with this one! 🤬
Also, too many questions were left unanswered. (This has been mentioned many times in previous comments, so I won't go into it again)
Another big annoyance was the obvious cheap budget, apparently there was no money left for creating monsters, that was just pathetic (in a series about fucking monsters, I mean look at season 1)
😤🤯🤬
……*deepbreath* Ok, aside from the more than obvious flaws and my great anger.... So many KUDOS to the actors. They literally carried this season on their backs and all of them did a great job, especially Song Kang!!! I loved the scenes where his “evil” side came out, they were hilarious ❤️❤️❤️❤️ (the acting was my only consolation 🥲)
I tried to watch LYF but the reversed harem concept is not for me 🙃. LYF2 doesn't have a happy ending?
Makes me wish for a real reverse harem where FL gets together with everyone (that's only fair in comparison to all the harem dramas out there, right? lol) 😜

Still a great quiz, I really enjoyed it, thanks for creating it 🫶
