What you you rate this? I agree with what you said by the way lol.
I haven't been able to rate it yet, I'm torn... The production quality, actors, sets, and costumes easily deserve a 10/10, but the lack of BL and the rushed feeling, with obvious plot holes... I don't know. 😩
Seriously, there's going to be a sequel, right? I mean, just look at how much effort they put into this movie. I just can't imagine actors training so hard to put together moves like that for only two hours...
Hopefully the next movie will have more plot, but as long as there's a next part, I'm fine with anything (no, wait, they have to stay together, cheating or breaking up is not allowed 😜).
If i am correct they were dating in the manga before they separated. And i think one of them slept with someone…
I mean, there had to be more to it than that, considering that he broke up with him... (out of the blue) 😅
It's just SO sad that they left out this very big and important part of the movie. Are they even aware of what genre the movie is, or what? It makes me sad that they always try to make BL or gay movies to attract viewers, but then just don't follow through, if you know what I mean.
Would you recommend to read the Manga? Is it worth reading and can it bring me some peace, or will I be even angrier after reading it?
Okay, here are a few thoughts that came to mind while watching... (be aware: might contain a few spoilers)
1. First of all, kudos to the casting team and the costume department... The roles of the two main actors were perfectly cast, and the outfits and styling were spot on! I mean seriously, just look at them 🤯❤️ 2. The main actors... What can I say, for me they are currently the most amazing people in the world!!! What they delivered..my gosh! (And damn, Suzuki Shinya’s body is pure sin 😱🤤🤤🤤🤤❤️)
Now for some points of criticism: 1. Let's be honest: here are two passionate, hot guys in their prime, and after a passionate kiss, they just go their separate ways? Who are they trying to kid here????😑🤦♂️😤 2. Shinya: “It's over.” Me: “Huh, when were they even together?”😭😭😫 (Felt like there were two hours missing in between?!)
Overall, my criticism mainly relates to how they portray (or fail to portray?) the relationship between the two. And my conclusion is: either they cut out A.LOT. of good stuff, or they're just bad at what they did ☹️
I mean just look at the potential!!! Everything was so well prepared, and this felt like a rushed prologue, and now I'm damn hungry for the main course, but there isn't one 😭 Give me more, I need more, damn it 😭😭😭
(Nonetheless, I f*cking love the sh*t out of this movie, what they did was awesome, but I can’t help but wish for more on behave of the BL part🥲)
I don't think it's normal at all, they just exaggerate in these short dramas bc they all have the same concept…
It was mainly meant ironically. Do you know of any other countries that start dramas like this as often as China? I don't (and now think about why that might be). And because China uses it so often that it almost becomes normal, the reverse conclusion is that the image of women and the question of what is right and wrong is still a long way from other countries (it is common knowledge what role women play in China compared to men (and even if they need to stay „clean“ that doesn’t mean men have the same interest if you know what I mean)
I realize that a drama is not reality and uses dramatic effects, but when there is an increase in certain frequencies (including an increase in intensity), it does make you think. At least it definitely makes me think.
Last but not least, I personally don't want to see or support crap like this 🤷♂️
Oh, come on, really? This is a series with a punk rock theme, and this little kiss is really all we get to see? Drinking and smoking, belly piercings—everything is okay and must be experienced, but for God's sake! Beware of intimate contact, even punks are afraid of it, right 🙄🤦
My patience with Japanese dramas is slowly coming to an end 😤 If they do the same sh*t with 10dance, I'll be furious to no end..
Please tell me: Did he actually sleep with her/was he intimate with her, or did he stop before anything happened?…
Okay, thanks!! Personally, I'm a little disappointed that he wasn't the one who stopped from going further... I mean, that's a little dubious for my taste, but well...
Since they sign the marriage certificate. I don’t understand why Saenkaew need to be in the same room as Pin…
Please tell me: Did he actually sleep with her/was he intimate with her, or did he stop before anything happened? 😱 (Because if he sleeps with her, I really don't want to see that...)
I don't usually watch stories with predictable bad endings, but I like the actor and he once again delivered a great performance in this one. The series is definitely worth watching.
Recently, I watched a different version in which both of them could hear the thoughts of the other. That was pretty funny and I guess I liked it more than this one 😅 (sadly, I can’t find it anymore)
I really love this plot line. No matter who the actors are, it’s a really nice change to see two pairings instead of one and have best friends fighting together instead of the classical FL vs evil SFL plot
The plot was somehow captivating because of its uniqueness, but the ending was just bad and a typical cliché for every other Japanese drama, which annoyed me incredibly (don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of Japanese dramas, but in this case, it just didn’t fit the rest of the show imo)
(Warning, spoilers may follow:) I mean, he's betting his all, but with dyslexia, taking the time you need and deserve is obviously not included in ALL (which, in my opinion, gives the impression that his pride is worth more than their love). And don't even get me started on the pity party that follows (completely ignorant of what he himself is doing to the FL)... I'm sorry, but that made me really angry, especially because a unique drama before the end turned into a typical breakup drama with a short, crappy finale.
In my opinion, it would have been much more satisfying if more time had been spent building their relationship, staying in touch with their family and friends, and solving problems beyond themselves (while supporting EACH OTHER)
Hopefully the next movie will have more plot, but as long as there's a next part, I'm fine with anything (no, wait, they have to stay together, cheating or breaking up is not allowed 😜).

But as I said, that's just my personal opinion.
