Ok, finished it.
I feel so sorry for Torn, I can’t even tell you how much. Everyone left him when he was in dire need and he literally had a boyfriend from hell... it wouldn't have hurt anyone to show him at least a little compassion :(
And even though Fah changed a bit in the end, I’m still mad.. in my eyes, his behavior was just aggravating throughout the whole show 😤

Wow, I'm getting whiplash from Fah's behavior. lol I mean his behavior fluctuates between “I like you” and “I don’t like you” tendencies. If I were Torn, my patience would already be at an end (I'm on episode 6 so far, I really just want to tell Fah “get a grip” sigh)

Honestly, I feel like I’m only staying for ML (can’t even tell why, it’s a weird obsession lol) and cause I’ve already invested this much time, so I want to finish. But I watch it faster than normal and skip a lot. I could’ve cried after realizing it has 55 eps instead of 45 😅 😭
You won’t miss much by dropping it, it often repeats the same plotlines. The romance is awfully slow (kiss on ep 33, next romance scene in ep 35..it feels like they just throw you some crumbs, but there isn’t a great chemistry at all) plus, I’m rather annoyed how much time they waste on the second pairing and political blah.. 😑 in my opinion, it would have been a good drama with 24 eps, focused on the mains and their cases. But this is just too much.. sorry for the long text, I had to vent a bit lol
(Could you recommend me one of the better series you mentioned, please?)

Haven’t watched it yet, but browsing through the comment section is an experience on its own. I mean, there are clearly two sides, seems like people either love or hate it. Sadly, few are telling why 😅 So, could someone please give me an overview about the pro and cons of this show? I’d appreciate it 🙏 (feel free to spoil me, and I’d also love to know about the end and the ‘disturbing’ ep 15 lol)

They have a connection from the start, but romance is pretty slow. First kiss is in ep 33..

Honestly, the swimming scenes are the worst, why did they even use CGI? 🤦‍♀️ I mean, if they’d filmed them in real water, the results couldn’t have been worse 😅

I’d say great chemistry. There are a few kiss scenes , and overall their interactions are rather heated for a chinese drama.
By the way, I wouldn’t call ML and FL enemies at all 😅

And in case of the mustache: at first, I didn’t recognize the actor at all either. While browsing through this site, seeing his pics in the photo section immediately catched my interest, though. And after I realized its him, I felt robbed. In my eyes, it’s truly shame what they did to him 😭

Honestly, in my opinion you don’t need to bother with this one, cause the plot is just dumb. I don’t even want to explain further, cause in my eyes, it doesn’t deserve more words than that.

Look in the photo section above. I was shocked seeing those beautiful pics in comparison to the character he plays (not my cup of tea), how can a mustache make such a huge difference, that’s crazy 😅

I love unique plot-lines and in my opinion, this series has one of those. It differs from the standard drama storyline, and I quite enjoyed it! ❤️

Pros:
1. Fl is not only beautiful, she’s also strong willed and has a profound character
2. Relationship progress is fast and steady (and definitely on the mature side)
3. Ml is reasonable, honest and true to his words
4. Lovely side characters

Cons:
1. Who was responsible for shaving ML and why didn’t they shave him more often?
2. The series could’ve been shorter. I felt like some scenes where unnecessary long and more like time fillers (for example, there is literally one ep about a tea making contest.. yes it’s and art but for my taste, it could’ve been a bit shorter…)
3. While the ending was nicely done, ML and FL came a bit short. I would’ve enjoyed to see a bit more about their personal HE

How could I forget how awesome this is…? I’ve watched it over a hundred times already, yet I’m still amazed of this masterpiece. It gets me time and time again. Kurosawa is so beautiful and has the nicest personality of all characters out there. and the background music of his thoughts while Adachi is sleeping over is the funniest thing in the world lol
I love those two so much, I can’t even tell you all about it ❤❤ ❤❤

Don’t care XD I bet it would’ve made a good base for a funny scene (I mean it could’ve been a milder version, like laying shirtless in bed or something ;D)
