I feel you! I also always make sure there's a happy ending before watching a series

This is a mini drama, overthinking won’t do you any good 😅

Production quality is pretty bad. And I don’t get why ML had the worst wig of all in the first ep, the backside of his head (which was shown every 5 minutes) annoyed me to no end 😅

I loved the relationship between the brothers. It wasn’t cruel, I felt like it represented a real siblings relationship (competitive, with fights, but no one wants to truly hurt the other ❤️)

They still had their memories
1. Hugging between two people who never met before? Not likely
2. She always wished for a stable and peaceful life and choose the villain because she thought he was a scholar who’d open an academy. Prince fulfilled her wish in the 4. life and became one.

Not considering actor of ML, dubbing and acting, I will say this:

Personally, I found the plot very exciting and interesting for 2/3 of the drama. But the last 1/3 was too focused on pure political intrigue (as always), which was very, annoying and dragged as hell

Yeah, it IS a pity.. plus, it’s not only a shame for the actor, it’s a shame for the drama, as well. I mean in my opinion, the voice they use doesn’t fit the character at all and makes it really hard for me to watch it..

I never cared about dubbing before (maybe cause I often couldn’t even recognize it) but he just sounds terrible, I wish they had used someone else for his dubbing 😵

I wouldn’t call him a bad ass, he’s too goody two shoes like for that. But yes, he isn’t the typical cold character. If you watch the first ep you’ll get a pretty good impression of him.

ML is very childlike (more focused on a lazy playful life) in the first half of the drama (therefore my comment about FL playing mother figure) so it’s not the typical „smart and capable genius“ from the start kind of drama (even though naturally, he is smart and capable..as always lol he’s just not the typical imposing godlike ML as in other series. But if he wants to do something and puts his mind on it, he is able to do it..

Bad brother slapped his wife and bam, suddenly she lost a child you didn’t even know she was carrying (and of course they use it again to hurt fl so ml can save the day once more )

Plus, example for dumb/ repetitive plotline: when you think bad brother is finally punished (after his Xy try to kill ml and fl) and imprisoned for his evil actions, he just walks out of prison. Cause of course, it’s normal for prisoners to come an go whenever they want 🙄🤦‍♂️

Are you kidding, this one is so over the top, I mean how often can you make ML save the day? (Like, he saved it 3 times (in one day) already and should have been dead by now but hell no, one more time is possible 🤦‍♂️ )

to make it short: this series is so full of cliches and repetitive dramatics, it gave me whiplash 😅 (another dramatic example in the spoiler below)

in my opinion, they used the budged for the production quality rather than a creative writer

In my understanding, the third was the father of the girl who got r*ped. Roh Bin instructed him to kill the two guys, but before he could, Lee Tang already did

This is exactly why it felt similar to me (at least in the first 2 eps). Later on, it differs quite a bit but I feel like some little quirks stay the same. If it wouldn’t have been about the super power and kept on going with fate / bad or good luck the vibes would’ve kept going (in my opinion).
