I don't understand the plot either (and their obsession with it).
If I'm willing to marry an old guy (I hate from the bottom of my heart), accept that I have to touch him and more... why don't I just kill him? Or hire a killer? Or seduce a young man who I then get to kill the old one? Just to give a few examples of what I think would be a more reasonable plot instead...

Did you finish the series? I just watched the first two eps and her behavior is annoying me to no end.. just want to know if there’s any hope left and it will get better over time or not 🤦‍♂️

Watched it in one go, it was very enjoyable! Their quarrels are fabulous ❤️ Main leads did their jobs very well!!! The plot was interesting and I especially liked FL having the role of a shadow guard.
Overall, in my opinion, 7.2 is a bit too low..

The only thing that came a bit short was the ending (time wise and cliché plot wise.. ) but everything else was worth it. I’ll sure rewatch it in the future ❤️

You don’t even realize how you bend facts to fit your own perspective. But do and think as you wish. As I said be happy in your ignorance and have a nice live with someone who makes decisions for you over your head.

Right. Keep ignoring the no sex option (but sex even though she’s a delicate swan in your mind), the not treating equally, the keeping it secret for a long time and so on. I’m aware it’s another era, I didn’t mention the fact that in this time men were the decision makers. I criticize that ml isn’t the perfect husband they want to portray him as. But ignorance is a bliss for you, keep living with it.

It doesn’t even matter, the fact that he’s taking her free will, ruling over her head, stands. If this is ok for you (and you’d be happy if someone took the same decision out of your hand) be free to like it. I don’t, cause it’s not okay. And keep in mind that not sleeping together is not even an option for him.. well. Im sure he does it for her own good as well.
As I said, he just isn’t perfect and that’s a fact. It’s ridiculous to keep discussion it.

Poison : a substance that is capable of causing the illness or death of a living organism when introduced or absorbed. I didn’t misunderstand anything, they call it poison themselves.
And if she was as fragile minded as you said, I wonder why the no sex wasn’t an option. It speaks for itself that he goes behind her back instead of telling her to better not have sex right now. He took her free will to decide about her fate, body and life. That’s a fact.

Sorry, but nope, not a sufficient explanation.
1. Nobody should be allowed to poison another as a good deed, no matter what. He’s not a doctor, he shouldn't be allowed to decide what’s good for her and what’s not. If she’s able to have s*x with him, she’s able to decide about consequences.
2. . We don’t talk about 1 time, we talk about a d*mn long time span. He kept doing it without even considering to tell. He would have kept doing it if the maid hadn’t realized what’s going on. That’s definitely not a trait of a perfect ML.

14’33: LOL I bet it’s the part where he just leaves his sister alone (even though just seconds before, he wanted to bring her to a hospital), right? I mean he’s studying medicine and this was such a dumb scene… 🤦‍♂️ (seeing how he told everyone his sister isn’t the type to make him worry unnecessarily 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️)

Wouldn’t recommend to watch until it’s finished, I feel like it was a total waste of my time..

Ok… my opinion:
1. Wonderful family and life oriented drama
2. The father of FL is the absolute best ❤️
3. FL is cruel as h*ll
4. Romance-wise, its a mess. It started promising but flopped (in my eyes).

I’d definitely liked it more if it would’ve been more romance oriented (and if ML spoke up just once, d*mn it. How can it be that 5 year olds are more mature than him. 11 eps were definitely too long to get a f*cking grip 😤🤦‍♂️)

Sorry to say this, but probably because plastic surgery is a thing 😅
(but while Kepler’s nose is a bit cuter (in my opinion), I personally like Xiao Zhan a lot more ❤️)

This is one of the most cliché evil stepfamily dramas ever 🤦‍♂️ (including everyone acting absurd so the trope can continue over a length of 4 hours 🥲)
