Can you please spoil me: what did ml do with the brothel girl? Did he seriously cheat on fl???? I’m up to ep 10 right now and started to love this drama so much, but reading your comment made me kind of frightened for future episodes 😭
I’m not crying, you are 😭😭😭😭 This is a wonderful movie, but the ending… I want to see more of them together, the ending fell far too short, my heart needs more time for healing 😭

I’d summarize this one as follows This is one of the (kind of typical) weird Japanese plots (she’s 18, he’s much older, they get married.. well, this is nothing new for japanese dramas 😅 then, there is a bit more weird plot..) but wham, suddenly in ep 8 everything changes and in ep 10, the actors even learn to act and do show emotions 😂 In fact, ep 10 was pretty good in my opinion, that’s why I gave this drama a pretty high rating lol (Plus, Japanese dramas are always able to be unpredictable 😆)
The absolute craziest thing about this drama (keep in mind it’s a japanese one): there are many kisses and even sexual acts (!!!) 😳😂 I was flabbergasted lol
This is tragic, my heart arches so bad for the younger one. Kudos especially for the actor of the younger one, he did an amazing job portraying emotions 🥲🥲🥲
Uhm.. in the comment section someone talked about a HE, but it doesn’t feel like that to me, did I see the wrong movie or something? I mean nothing got solved.. It’s pretty dark and sad..
And I wouldn’t recommend to watch the kissasia version, there’s a second movie included (the compilation „going south“) which ends up pretty tragic 🥲 the translation was horrible, but storywise it felt like it was a sequel to this one?? And if so, it’s definitely not a HE.
But please feel free to enlighten me if you know more about it.
… I really liked the concept but sadly, in my opinion the execution was lacking. This series got so much potential but just look at the ending.. it somehow felt half hearted and rushed.
Plus, I’m a bit disappointed with Tharn. He believes and chooses the doctor over Phaya? Ouch. For me, it felt like Phaya was much more invested in their love than Tharn.
But that’s just my personal opinion, so please don‘t feel bothered if yours is different.
Seeing the comments, this will probably be an unpopular opinion but I liked the movie far better than the series.
The main reason: the heartache, suffering and especially the injustice is limited to a bearable minimum. I’m still emotionally scarred from the series and it’s literally years since I saw it… So this movie was pretty nice, likable and kind of healing for my soul.
I think they did a great job, actors are superb, production quality is high and in my eyes, the story made enough sense for everyone to get it. My only critique is about the ending, cause it was way too short.. (would have liked to see some more hot kissing scenes between those fabulous main leads 😜 )

I mean,ML hurts FL countless times and FL does her share too…but how is stabbing her (even without killing intend) without telling her anything about his plans beforehand in any way reasonable??? I’m totally in love with ML and his serious character…BUT what the heck, the story is dragging as hell.. I’m not even halfway through (ep 15) and it costs me so much effort to keep watching 🥲

First impression: Yay, gender role reversal! Second impression: Nay, same old sh*t. I mean, how many times can you have female characters say "I'm dumb" for the audience to realize it's not really a role reversal? (Seriously, it’s their favorite line for female roles in this drama -_- )
So in short: if you’re here for gender role reversal, better leave quickly. It’s the same “ML is the superb hero and FL is the dumb damsel in distress” as usual. Plus, the storyline is the biggest mess I’ve ever seen.. it’s pretty exhausting to keep up with what’s actually happening, the plot holes are miles wide X_X
If you’re here for Yuan Hao / the ML, stay, his smiles are perfect lol But I’d recommend his other drama (The Romance of Hua Rong) over this one
