I am still positive that BSH is still alive *yayyy* the gate was open, he was not shown being inside, AND the fact that after a series of tedious searching made by the govt, he was still never found. I am still hanging on that tiny hope that he’s still alive and will go to SMJ once he’s ready.

I don’t really mind if there won’t be a second season. It’s ended well as it has. Thank you writer-nim and director-nim for leaving it open-ended. In that way we can assume that BSH and SMJ will still have a happy ending together.

I will surely miss this kdrama esp the cast *coughs* our best couple Kang Dong Won and Jun Ji Hyun 🫶🏻

Biggest thought was naeun was minho's sister-in-law lol those were the WGM days 😅

I am living for their true love for each other. Like after all the rough roads that they are experiencing but they still can't help but to protect each other and they can't stay away from each other. I just genuinely want them to have a happy ending because they deserve it.

Watched this bc I was bored and I like true crime documentaries/stories. The story is familiar to me, I am not sure if SBS kkokkomu has already covered this bc the story of this is really familiar to me and I've been a fan of kkokkomu (i watched all their episodes with eng sub in yt) so I think maybe I already watched this story in kkokkomu

just want to add, i love the way PXR hugged and comforted CXX bc he couldn't stop crying even after the director said cut when filming the scene where xiaofeng died in chengyin's arms (just saw the bts on yt). CXX really got immersed in his role that there was also a bts when they jumped on the river of oblivion (pool on the bts) and he couldn't stop crying also. The director and PXR came to him and comforted him aww he must've felt really bad like he was li chengyin

this has been on my list for quite some time now and i finally finished it this week. I already knew the story and premise of GMP before watching since I watched almost all clips on yt lol. As expected, it was a tragedy... but I really enjoyed it. The story, production, and of course the actors were superb. The chemistry between CXX and PXR was amazing. I hope they'd have more projects as FL and ML in the future bc they deserve it. GMP might be my favorite C-drama of all time, it just grew on me even tho it's tragic but I am satisfied with the ending. At least they had closure, for me. I like tragic historical dramas as long as the characters have closure :)

Overall, im going to miss this masterpiece bigtime so i might re-watch this from time to time
