You know what, I feel kinda same. I have nothing against the FL, it’s the character of the ML. Like I always had a high blood pressure whenever I watched his character show up on the screen 😭😭😭
I’m back here because I’ll rewatch this for the 3rd time because I can’t move on from TRTS 😭 just my two cents on MOGA, tho I LOVE everything about it from ep 1 until the last, but the first few episodes until before shen du knew that yan xing was his first love after all were my favorites among all (well ofc aside from his confession in the bath 🤭). I just think that all those efforts that he put into building a wall around his heart because he “couldn’t” love another woman aside from his first love (like him being distant to yan xing and such bc he doesn’t want to get close to other women bc he already has someone he loves) but then we can see in each episode how he slowly lowers his guard down with yan xing, how he slowly becomes protective of her, caring for her, WITHOUT him knowing that she’s his first love. Like????? SHE managed to make him fall in love with her AGAIN for the second time without any help and footing. That’s the best for me. Even without knowing that she’s the little girl who helped him in prison when they were young, he naturally fell for her all over again.
Oh to watch MOGA and TRTS for the first time 😍 I just wish more collabs for DYX and DEX in the future bc I don’t know any other couple who has the same intensity of chemistry as these two have.
I have no words for this except I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love everything about it especially the leads. They were perfect in doing their respective parts. This is an easy 1000000/10 despite others’ criticism. This just became my top 1, most favorite c-drama of all time. From MOGA to TRTS, Ding Yuxi and Deng Enxi never disappointed. I would personally petition the producers and screenwriters to give these two more collaborations in the future. Nobody can deny the overflowing chemistry between DYX and DEX. TRTS, you completed my year. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
I always go back to MJTY every now and then because I consistently miss Gong Shangjue and Shangguan Qian 🥺 I just wish they’ll be given another project because their chemistry is top-notch 🫶🏻
A deep, big sigh. It was a rollercoaster of emotions watching this. But, I really enjoyed it. I thought that maybe they could give us a happy ending, but lol, who was I kidding? It’s a republican c-drama. Someone had to die lol.
But really, I enjoyed this drama and I liked it. I’ll just stay in my delulu land and pretend that Qingyu and Zhihong, Boze and Boss Hai, and Qingyi and Susu all had a happy ending 🥹 tbh I’m still grieving the death of Boze 💔
Overall, after waiting for a year for this, I am satisfied with the outcome. Can’t wait to watch Road to Splendor next 🫶🏻
