The chemistry between the characters in this drama is amazing and not only the FL and ML, but all types of relationships. This episode is the start of the friendship between LSS and PR and I'm loving the sibling dynamic.
Everyone seems to expect TTJ to just accept humiliation and bullying with a smile on his face. The moment he fights back, he's branded a monster. LSS is guilty of this as well, but she's the only one with a justifiable reason, because the moment he shows his claws, she flashes back to all the trauma she has suffered at his hands 500 years in the future.
Even this early on and all high on newfound power, TTJ still can't bring himself to actually hurt LSS.
TTJ admitting to himself that the only time his heart moves and he feels something is for LSS and realizing it among all the chaos he has caused is actually very profound. The ground is littered with people he has hurt without blinking an eye, but seeing her scared stops him in his tracks. He spent his whole life convinced that no one would ever care for him, but there's still a sliver of hope in him, so he's latching on to her apparent affection, even if there's a part of him that is convinced that it's not real.
Hey hey Moonies!! Time for the 3rd anniversary rewatch!🥳🥳🥳Drop your thoughts for episode 4: What If???
Poor TTJ being hated and mistreated from the moment he was born, especially by the person who should have loved him the most. Not understanding emotions might have been a blessing in disguise at that point, because if he did he might have turned evil and bitter much earlier in his life.

It's interesting how quickly LSS went from wanting to kill him right away to wanting to understand him better and figuring out what turned him evil in the first place.

It's not that he doesn't talk to humans, but no one makes the effort to talk to him. No one tries to get to know him or have a decent conversation. Everyone just projects whatever they want on him and treats him based on that prejudice.

It really shows what kind of values and morals LSS was brought up with, because she is so conflicted right from the beginning even though she just went through an incredibly traumatic event. Her mental fortitude is also very commendable.
This was a very lovely drama. It's a bit silly and doesn't take itself too seriously, but at the same time manages to have a very emotional core. It ended up being a nice blend of dark and funny. I really enjoyed it.
