On episode 11 now. The relationships are now much more clear now and the show is more enjoyable now that the plot is moving forward. It's a slow paced show but I'm liking the interaction between the MC's and how the show is building up their relationships slowly through conversation
Love this guys movies. I think I first saw him in Train to Busan but I went on a movie binge and saw a bunch more of his films like The Bad Guys, Along With the Gods, and The Gangster The Cop and The Devil. One of my favorites with him as lead is Champion and it shows he can play the everyman rather than just the action roles he's usually in
On Episode 5 now. I'm still powering through and giving this show a chance since I like slice-of-life dramas. For some reason, I had a hard time making sense of all the characters in this show in the first few episodes. But now I know who the central characters are as well as their personalities so the show is easier to follow now.
The story seems kinda aimless though. Not really sure where the show is trying to go with these characters
I'm on episode 3 and I don't know why but I find this show kinda difficult to follow. Maybe I'm just dumb or maybe its the pacing but for some reason the story just isn't clicking with me.
Kim Go Eun is an absolute goddess in this show. Love the romance between KGE and LMH, I thought they had amazing chemistry. And I love the happy ending.
Out of all the ratings heavyweight romance shows I've seen like Crash Landing On You, It's Okay to Not Be Okay, and Mr. Sunshine, TKEM is probably my favorite out of those.
I've just now discovered that he raped a minor and I'm totally disgusted.
You would think that with all the Korean dramas and movies that depicting rape, sexual assault, and mistreatment of women in the workplace, the Korean legal system would be stricter towards real life offenders. But casting directors are still casting morally reprehensible people like Lee Kyung Young . Even the whole Nth room case proves that the culture and society in Korea is still toxic and keeps women from speaking out due to social stigma and pressure.
No joke, this film hit me with alot of feels. I got back into watching Korean films because of this movie and it doesn't disappoint with its star cast and gut punch storytelling
Top tier show. Easily one of my all time favorite kdramas. 2 things that elevate this show for me: the tone of the show and Son Ye Jin.
Tonally, this show is a masterclass in grounded and realistic storytelling and Ahn Pan Seok deserves recognition for his directing. Son Ye Jin is so beautiful in this show she deserves all the praise she gets for her acting ability. Her development and arc in this show is amazing
Watched this partly because of Son Ye Jin, partly because of my fascination with this particular time in Korean history. Just like France, Russia, and China, the royal family couldn't withstand the turmoil and upheaval of the times and the human cost of that was really the loss of innocence of Korea's last princess
This drama is top-tier. One of the most interesting concepts for a romance drama. And it really hits hard and the character development of all the leads pays off in the later episodes. Probably in my Top 10 favorites
The Japan arrival scene with the buildings passing by and the soundtrack playing is one of the most beautiful scenes ever. Absolute masterpiece of a film
One of the best films of 2021. Hamaguchi is a modern master.
The driving scenes are spellbinding. The scene where they drive through a bunch of high-voltage towers and many of the scenes on the windy road looked beautiful on-screen
Absolutely love this show. Shame each episode was so short, there are worse dramas out there that get double the run time. Love how the two leads bitterly hate each other and then gradually become closer. I also like how the trauma the FL experienced was explored to some extent and gave us a look at what someone who's been a victim of abuse goes through
I think the show would've been better if they toned down the comedy. They could've found a way to keep it cute and dramatic without spending so much time on some of the comedic gags. The best parts of the show weren't the poop jokes or the nude flasher guy but the intimate moments when the leads really began to find common ground an understand each other
Yoo I'm so glad to see her in All of Us are Dead after seeing Squid Game. Easily the most tragic supporting character in Squid Game and AOUAD to some extent. Hopefully she gains some more name recognition and lands a lead in a big show.
Its always great to see the high school slice-of-life genre with a twist. Extracurricular also comes to mind when I think of the high school genre with a twist of something else.
Found myself rooting for the troubled outcast characters like Nam-ra the most.
The movie itself is decent. The coolest parts were the gunfights. I didn't really care for much of the actual disaster part of the film
The story seems kinda aimless though. Not really sure where the show is trying to go with these characters

Not gonna name any names, but I compare all the female leads from other popular Kdramas to Kim Go Eun and not many can compare to her natural beauty
