On episode 31. The sister is annoying. And also now they're just dragging things. Stuff that has no point in happening,…
Finally finished it. I have to say the rating on here is a little too generous. Only good thing about this drama is the male lead. He's nice to look at. The chemistry between ML and FL was blah. They had more passion hating each other tbh but even that eventually started fizzling out. Drama could have done better had they not added a bunch of nonsense toward the end. If asked, would I recommend this? My answer is no. Felt like a waste of time.
Starting episode 4 and I just have to say... I don't understand why they're biting each other like rabid dogs. Both are martial artists and they've resorted to wild animal antics. I will continue watching but the biting... I can do without.
I wish there were more episodes or at least one of them attending her ex boyfriend's wedding together as a couple as like an end of both parties finding their happiness and growth. I enjoyed this drama. It was light and fun and it was fun seeing all the guest guy actors. I imagine everyone had fun filming this.
I will say that if I was reading this story, it would have been more interesting. I found the drama a snooze fest. Both ML and FL were very monotonous. The villain, as usual, an excellent villain. I stuck through it for the story only. Could have been loads better. Oh whale đ
I enjoyed this drama tremendously!! I liked it so much more than "Shine on Me" or "Speed and Love." It was so refreshing to watch. It felt new and exciting. The acting was good too. And can I just say, finally a female lead with a brain!!! Love it. Need more dramas like this.
Please don't come for me but I think this is yet another drama where the rating is generous. Personally, I don't like dramas where the FL pursues the ML relentlessly. However this drama was not entirely like that. I feel like the ML led her on a little for her to go after him. He would invade her personal space many times making her question the dynamic of their relationship.
I thought there was barely any character growth on the FL. She remained cringey and childish. They showed her as smart and had knowledge about xyz but did she actually utilize any of her smarts? Maybe once or twice. It seemed like her character was very flat. No depth. Pretty shallow.
The ML at first was good. I enjoyed watching him. Then the big accident happened and well I found him annoying. He kept saying he wanted her happy and pushed her away but still went ahead and bought their childhood home and built the cafe she wanted to build. I thought it was manipulative to say "I just want her to find her happiness." But then turn around and do these things that will allow him to stay in her life. Like do 1 thing and stick to it. Stop lying and manipulating people.
The wardrobe in that show was amazing though. I stayed for the clothes lol
I just finished this drama last night. Personally I think the 8.7 is very very generous (unpopular opinion). I think it would have been better had they decreased all the drama about work. I found the work bits a snooze fest. I couldn't help but fall asleep during them. I ended up fast forwarding stuff toward the end. Their chemistry was okay. I was left wanting more. She had more chemistry in AASOL. For those beginning this drama, I suggest watching it on Viki. Netflix translations aren't the best currently. I noticed this with some korean dramas too. I agree with the rating IMDB gave this drama (7.7) Things could have been much better had they concentrated more on chemistry and their relationship as well as some of the other relationships (like the one with her dad) and character growth. Instead of throwing a lot of work drama in. Felt a bit dragged out because of this.
