All the more reason to hope for this drama's success. I hope that more dramas can remain true to the novel if it's female-centered, especially if it means that we can get a more complex and attractive characterization of female leads in dramas. I don't mind if more plot is added to develop the characters better, but I don't like it if it is an imbalance in how one of the leads needs to be weaker to make the other one shine.

Whether Lusi loses more weight or not, people who have bad intentions would always find something to nitpick on. We can call it slander. But when fans themselves do it, it's particularly disappointing. Because they are questioning Lusi's professionalism.
Sometimes these fans want to brag about their fav, so comments made by those marketing accounts become flaws in their eyes. Instead of reporting it they instead internalised it as something Lusi is lacking, so they themselves would comment on it "for her own good".

Saw one comment that I was upset about which was that she shouldn't laugh so much at such an event. Maybe when I was still a kid I would agree, Now that I more matured I feel that people who can laugh and smile alot are more charming. I rather they change their fav tbh.

Personally, I think the white dress suits her, just that as fans we have seen her wearing white so frequently that we kinda have aesthetic fatigue with her wearing white. The dress looks better in motion than in pictures. It feels like before the event, we've built up high expectations, with many suggestions of haute couture designs that would suit her. So seeing her in a more minimalistic design did disappoint.

I want her to get a better stylist team, but maybe things are more complicated behind the scenes than we know. I don't agree with some comments made by 'fans' though, feels like they are treating her like a doll (bodyshaming, smiling too much)

Whether she wins or not, seeing her name nominated among very notable seniors is already a great achievement. Very happy that ZLS's Cheng Shaoshang is being recognised.

Please really be more mindful of your words regarding fellow co-stars, whether you think they are suitable or not, we can never really be sure until the drama begins. As ZLS fan, you should understand how it feels like to be wrongfully judged before a drama begins, doing this is hypocritical. What if the current rumored ML is the actual ML? And what if the drama is an unexpected hit drama? Then our harsh words earlier would only come back to hunt us ( it be really thick-skinned of us to accept the success when we have been badmouthing the drama). And please don't discredit other co-star participation by saying that it is only because of ZLS that people would watch the drama. I'm pretty sure fans of fellow co-stars won't like it, and neither would I if ZLS was discredited.
