These two really needed to communicate, glad it happened. Harutora really annoyed me at the beginning of the episode, and Sui in the first scene with the schoolmate, and I was glad to see it ended well (again)

But Sui really, really needs to do something about this Dai dude, put some boundaries in place @_@ He's freaking awful and entitled and probably sees himself as such an understanding ally...

Tee, Prae's dead Nour boyfriend, allegedly had a fever in episode 3. Might be some Nour thing...? When they're starving, perhaps?
If the burn scars were caused by the Nour that kills Nours, it might take longer to heal - they usually heal everything instantly, but he can even turn them into charcoal under certain circumstances, right?
I want the answers too @_@ Hope he saves Ji and we find out!

I think so, too. Or he's had some Nour genes used on an experiment on him, or something /suddenly sci-fi XD

I think he might be able to steal some from the hospital, like Prae... Otherwise he'd lose control (like Ken did at the beginning of the episode) and attack people, which would end up being reported unless he killed them and got rid of them - kinda dark, but possible

Exactly because of that. Humans can't regenerate and heal completely from a burn without skin grafts and other stuff. A Nour can, even if it takes a while. Plus, Ken said Nour's joints are weaker than the rest of their bodies, and Chita's main issue other than the burn scars seems to be his knee...

He either was one of the intended victims of the serial killer (who sets Nours on fire, so it would make even more sense for him to be a Nour) or he is the Nour killer himself and got burned by accident or on purpose to seem like a victim.

(don't forget Ken said Nours can't eat normal food or they vomit, and Chita vomited while having dinner at Ji's mom's house... And there's other stuff pointing at him.)

I think Ken knows. He was fairly cold to Chita in all the few scenes they had together, sending him away while he was doing autopsies and telling Ji to send him away in another scene... (Ken also knew about Prae very fast.) I just don't think he believes Chita is a threat.

Depends on the lore! Many times to turn you need to be drained and then fed the blood of the vampire who drained you (sometimes you can even be fed the blood of an entirely different vampire; like vampire A drains you almost dead, vampire B sees you before you're totally gone, feeds you their blood and voilá, you're "saved" and vamped)

Here, according to Tongtong, that's not how it works. A Nour can only turn someone they truly love into another Nour (giving them a heart bite, whatever that means) - if they're not the Nour's true love, the turning fails and the person dies.

I'll raise you one and say Prae thinks Nour Chita killed Tee and took Ji to get revenge for Chita allegedly killing her lover!

I kinda love his room, but I'm a creepy lady who likes dolls and weird aesthetics. What I hate is the state of the entire building, it's totally falling apart... if someone stumbles and cuts a finger on those rusty stairs, they're gonna get tetanus! >_>

Might be. Also possible that he only 'got' his powers when whoever killed his father threw him across the room - trauma might have turned his ability on :X I hope they let us know soon!!

Yup. @_@ There's other stuff pointing at it, too, but not like, unrefutable evidence:

- he's been badly burned, and we know there's a murderous arsonist WHO KILLS NOURS around the town
- Tee, a Nour, had a fever around the time he got killed; Chita sometimes has unexplained fevers
- Moving from town to town is very convenient when you're an unaging supernatural creature (imagine the issues if you spend years at the same place and someone notices) who accidentally kills people here and there
+ the vomiting + the attempts at making Ji agree to stay away from Prae (who is a Nour) + trying to make Ji move away from the serial killer's territory with him + evading the question about Ji being able to trust him...

I mean... he might not be a Nour, but he sure seems like one according to what we've seen (I've thought so when all I had to go on was the fever and the burn scars 'getting better' lol.) @_@

I must be misremembering, then, coz I thought it was coming from the inner thigh, close to the front and well above the knee... I'll rewatch during the weekend as usual, so I won't miss it then~

Anyway, I can totally see it happening (and I implied that might have been the case in a comment I made earlier, but no one seemed to pick up on it) >_> It's easy for me to imagine Nour Chita, dealing with his burns and needing to heal asap, starving and not yet having a job at the hospital to help him access people's blood in a non-violent way, just losing it at some point and attacking the first person he saw. >_>

If that really was the case, though, Ken totally saw him and knows what he did - perhaps that would explain a few things, actually, like Ken being cold to him whenever they meet but not too worried about him as a threat anymore. But did Ji see him, too? >_> I feel like he knows Chita is a Nour (like when he told Chita "you should've told me about what you can eat"), but I have a hard time imagining he'd be okay with Chita noming on his mom, even by accident and a while ago, unless there's one hell of an explanation. Messy!!

Speaking of Ken - yeah, I'm pretty sure our Nour bbs, including him, sometimes lose control when they're too hungry and/or too angry @_@ A bit like how he got tempted by James's wound and went in for James's thumb and lips in the second episode, but sometimes much more dangerous than that! I might be wrong, though...

IMO Ken and that guy were friends (perhaps more? not like, soulmates, but lovers?) and something happened - perhaps the dude got hurt and started bleeding profusely? perhaps Ken forgot to feed for longer than he should? - and Ken ended up attacking and almost killing him. Glad the nameless man was cool enough to understand and brush it off. He must have really loved Ken, romantically or otherwise, to be able to do that.

And yeah... Even if these days Ken does his best to be very, erm, ethical and/or consensual about his feeding habits, drinking the blood of the living comes with these kinds of issues i_i I wonder if James has already thought, like really thought, about Ken's diet and how he must have gotten on for like 200 years. lol Perhaps he'll be all 'I get it, you need to eat to live and couldn't always do it the right way,' but he doesn't necessarily seem the type and I'm afraid he'll get judgy and feisty about it.

I think that Nour actually bit her thigh artery >_> Which would explain why she was bleeding so freaking much... (And I'm also low-key scared it might have been Chita when he lost control or something like that, like when Ken bit his friend in the beginning of this episode)

I'm hoping it's for something non-deadly, like her wanting access to the files on Tee's authopsy... Or perhaps she's sus of Chita having killed Tee and wants to take Ji to get back at him? D:

- Nours do not age.
- Nours do not get drunk, and thus it's fair to assume they don't suffer effects from drugs, poisons and other substances.
- Nours heal very rapidly from pretty much every single wound, including ones that would kill a human instantly (e.g shot to the forehead, falling from the 30th floor)
- Their joints heal more slowly than the rest of their bodies, but they still heal faster than humans do.
- 2021 was when Ken actually found out someone could kill Nour - he didn't know for sure before that, so it must be a very rare occurrence.
- Nours are not vulnerable to sunlight.
- Nours have super-strength, being able to throw people around like dolls...
- ... and super-speed, too.
- Nours faces change when using their abilities: they get specific red markings around the eyes and cheeks, as well as characteristic blue, glowing eyes.
- Nours can grow claws at will. (As shown with Tee and Prae.) The same goes for fangs. (As shown with Ken.)
- Nours can see well in the dark, like other mostly nocturnal predators.
- Nours feed on human blood.
- Nours can't eat food. It's not meant for their bodies, so they throw up almost immediately after trying to consume any.
- Nours can feed straight from living humans, from blood bags meant for transfusions, and, in theory, from the blood of the dead. (According to Ken, or at least to the English subtitles.)
- It is unknown if Nours can feed from animal blood.
- Biting a human does not turn that human into a Nour - we would have an overpopulation if that were the case.
- Turning a human into a Nour requires a 'heart bite'. That might or might not be literal, but either way, it indicates that the person being turned is truly loved by the Nour who is doing the biting. The transformation will fail otherwise, most likely leading to the human dying from blood loss.
- Nours don't need to sleep. Their nervous systems work as if they were awake regardless, so it's possible they don't even dream.
- Nours usually have gray, faded auras. However, in certain circumstances that aren't clear yet (perhaps when experiencing intense emotion or using their abilities), their auras gain a sparkly, colorful 'rainbow' effect.
- It is unknown if any Nours can see auras. The only known character we are currently sure has that ability is James, who is (at least theoretically) human.
- The word Nour means light. (Is that a reference to their sparkly rainbow auras?)
