Oh it's the second couple singing. Wow ! πππ
Wait, what episode's outro song? lol There's a song that's Toey and Phoom (Ji and Chita), sure - it was used as the ending of episode 5, if I remember correctly.
But there's also a song that's sung by Anton and Little (Nin and Rain). That one was the outro for episode 6. :D They're the third couple and have been promoting together as such. Am I to assume you haven't watched 6 yet...? Sorry for the pseudo-spoiler, if so. ;o;
Why is nobody adressing the elephant in the room? Am I the only that noticed it? Tong never made eye contact with…
He's a closed-off, emotionally stunted vampire who's just now trying to 'unthaw' his cold, aloof persona. I'm fine with it. (He made a lot of eye contact this episode, actually, though he still does tend to stare at his lips and neck _a lot_ and I also don't blame him XD)
Chita might be the Nour that kills other Nours. The burn on his leg he caused himself. Maybe by accident or an…
That's pretty much what I've been saying, too. Plus~
He has random fevers. Tee, a known Nour, did as well. He vomited after eating the curry. Ken, a known Nour, said everything he eats comes back up. Perhaps he walks like that because his knee joint hasn't fully healed from the burns yet? (Since joints are the most vulnerable parts of Nour's bodies.)
Either he was someone the Nour that kills other Nours tried to kill (and, of course, a Nour himself), or he's the killer...
I'm actually glad that we don't see the fangs. They always look so fake and it takes me completely out of the…
Oh, I only wanna see them if they're well-made (not overly white, for starters) and in the correct place - I hate those True Blood fangs that are too close to the middle front teeth and the typical-Nosferatu pointy front teeth @_@
so i am right..the fake handicap guy is the hidden nour who can kill othersbut why can't james see his colors…
My speculation~
Up til episode 6 started, James was only shown to have seen Nour auras around 4 times - when his father was killed, when Tee went after them, and both times he and Ken were making out heavily. He couldn't see Prae's aura well, either, or Ken's the first times he tried - their auras just looked grey and flat.
So perhaps Nours have to be in certain intense states of mind (scared, angry, excited, etc) for their rainbow auras to appear to him?
Anyway, Chita might just have been an intended victim of the arsonist/serial killer/Nour that kills Nours and not the killer himself. There's no undeniable evidence yet.
Ken, who doesn't even eat, trying to cook for his boy ;~; And his little face watching James eat?? They were the sweetest in the scenes at Ken's house, including the training and the second ramyun of the day. Still, nothing was cuter than the dancing scene... And that part also gave me a new headcanon: in my mind, whenever Ken really liked an artist in the past, he made sure to go to their concerts and get their autographs~
The Valentine's Day gift Ken gave James was a rose-shaped brooch from decades ago. I was curious about it for weeks! I hope it's meaningful to him and shows up in another flashback soon.
Ken: "Anything I eat comes right back up" - typical vampire thing also used for Nour! Aaand it also proves that Chita being sick after the curry was as suspicious as I thought. Btw, Chita seems to be pulling a Ken, trying to get Ji away from the Nour investigation and its dangers... But he evaded the question Ji asked him about being able to trust him. Not the best sign. Either way, regardless of Chita's Nour status, I do believe he cares about Ji (I'm still hoping against all my instincts and little clues that he isn't the Nour-killing Nour, and just a would-be victim who escaped getting fully consumed by the arsonist's fire...) and I also like how his disability is portrayed.
Btw: something else that would fit the "Chita is a Nour" theory: moving from town to town is kind of expected if you're a supernatural creature - so people don't realize you don't age, for starters, to find others of your kind you can actually fit in with, and to avoid being linked to any bodies you happened to leave behind... But, of course, this isn't evidence of anything. Just another Chita fact that could work.
Yay, now we know how Ji knows about Nour! I'd been wondering for a while. Who attacked his mom? It seemed like a Nour in a frenzy, out of control. I wonder what happened to him... (if you get my implication? no?)
Peanut is finally here (he has a pretty song in the OST!). His character is a menace! And all because Ken tried to send James back to Bangkok, now there's a whole other person who might uncover too much and become a threat. @_@ Let's hope Peter really goes back and stays away, because otherwise he might end up dead or causing Ken so much trouble I'll wish he were dead instead lol
I believe Prae (and always have!): she didn't kill Tee, and she loved him. I believe one of them turned the other. IMO, whoever set him on fire caught her and put her in that car trunk, and that's how her arm got burned. I think she's investigating who did it, and that's why she has her eye on Chita and Ji - she might want more of Tee's autopsy info from Ji, and/or actually suspect Chita (Ken knew Prae was Nour just by looking at her. If Chita is Nour, she probably knows) and wants to use Ji to get back at him if he's the culprit...
PS: The third couple's story is going forward, hell yes! And they used their song as the ending credits this episode!
I need to see Ken's fangs. @_@ The supernatural blue eyes are great, the skin changes when he vamps out - pardon me, Nours out - are unique, but I want to see fangs @_@ Pretty please, show, let it happen.
Onto EP6π«Άπ»So in the order the scenes played, Ken bit that guy ( I'm guessing he's Ken's ex) before he revealed…
He lost control - probably hungry or angry - and bit him. Thankfully he was able to stop, and even more thankfully, his friend/lover/wtv understood and didn't resent him for it. They remained close, and years later, the human was diagnosed with cancer... But he lasted more than a decade after that.
to me it seems like, any nour in true love and grieving.. or let's say on a revenge mission originating from pain…
Tongtong said the only way to turn someone into a nour is by 'giving them a heart bite' (hopefully not literal). For it to work, the human needs to be the nour's true love.
wait, why did that bar guy die?he was already bitten... how the hell cancer cannot be tackled when burning in…
Being bitten doesn't turn people into nours. They never said or implied that (though it does sometimes work like that in different vampire lore, it's not the most common way to turn) He was almost killed when Ken lost control. Ken spared him, asked him to forget it ever happened, and he did. They stayed as friends (lovers?), human x nour, till he died.
Nours seem to be impervious to damage unless it comes from the fire the Nour-killing Nour sets. They can't even get drunk, so I assume they can't get sick, either.
I LOVE the flashback opening. I love it when vampire shows do that (Angel/Buffy were masters at it, as was Forever Knight. And yes, I've watched too much 90s vampire TV.) I think it's great that they're making sure we understand how difficult it is to live 'forever' without anyone you can share all that time with, losing friend after friend, lover after lover.
