I already left like, three other comments today, but I forgot to mention how annoying I found that we didn't get to see Ji's family give a damn about what happened to him. Hell, he thought he couldn't travel to study abroad because his mom wouldn't be able to cope without him, and then he legit _died_ a horrible, burning death and she's apparently doing fine? It's been a week and his brother is a-okay and already thinking about romance? Do they "just" think he was the last victim of a serial killer and have no issues with it? I know people grieve differently, but that's something else entirely...

If it was "just" blood loss caused by a superficial wound, it's okay. I guess. From the looks of it, I thought it seemed deeper than that - if so just stitching over it without going over any damage in the layer underneath, especially to organs, artheries or veins, wouls have just changed his hemorragy from external to internal and not gained him any time at all.

The reason Ken's 'turning' into a Nour happened differently from everyone else's was too vague for my taste. Sure, they hinted at some things: reincarnation, dying to save him, whatever, but did it actually make sense with the rest of the story? I'm not sure. I can deal with that, though, even if I think the whole thing deserved more of an explanation.
Chita having incineration powers was just a random thing that happened, then? Was he able to do all that simply because his house was on fire when he got turned? Was it the ~fire of hatred and revenge~ that only he was angry enough to develop? Was it just that the writers needed a Nour serial killer but didn't bother to think about why he had that ability, so they ignored it? Was it BECAUSE OF REASONS? We'll probably never know. (and I still maintain the reason for his killing sprees was too silly, and since he had over 50 years to think about it, he'd have come to those conclusions before Ji had to tell him to stop...)
James having aura-seeing-lie-identifying kills? Never explained. He was just born this way. And okay, let him be The Chosen One, but IMO, when three out of your four main characters are exceptional and out of all the norms you yourself established, it feels cheap and excessively coincidental.
The fourth main character having once been suicidal and then going out by, gasp, suicide? Very on the nose in a way that makes usual foreshadowing seem like a slap in the face. And though I was 100% sure Ji was going to convince Chita to kill himself after seeing the mess he'd made, I was legit hoping the doctor wouldn't want to go with him - it would have closed his character arc in a much less depressing way if he finally understood he should make an effort to live, even if it was by himself and for himself... Instead, he was all, "Let's go die so no one will suffer" and it was like he didn't have a brother who loved him or a mother who depended on you or anything. He didn't think they'd cope well with him studying abroad, but dying was fine...? (I also said he was probably never gonna see them again because of the way his goodbyes with them were written, but I'd rather have been wrong than have him go like that. :P)
TLDR: I was disappointed by these last two episodes. They had an underbaked and underplanned vibe IMO. I was more than willing to look past a bunch of earlier issues that annoyed me (including weird pacing, excessive dialogue when people should be running for their lives/focused on capturing suspects/hiding from the cops, leaving important things to our collective imagination, telling human cops to arrest immortal serial killers at sight, drinking dead people's blood after a lot of time had passed and the blood had probably clotted into a non-liquid form) but adding everything up, the result is: meh.
Hell, I'd still be okay with ignoring everything in the previous parentheses under the guise of "it's just a BL" if Chita's motive was better explored, Ji thought of his family at least a bit during his last monologue, we got some sort of explanation about Chita and James's powers... It would feel so much more fulfilling to me.

Mending skin/some flesh by stitching doesn't heal any internal damage, dude. You're a doctor, aren't you? And if it wasn't deep and didn't tear an organ, then why the hell was he almost dying of it, anyway? He didn't lose that much blood as far as we could see. Did they skimp on the syrup used for fake blood?
The cops randomly shooting at Ken even AFTER Phong told them to stop was ridiculous.
The rainbow conversation came back. It was obvious that it was important since the name of episode 8 was related to it/the scene was so badly placed in episode 8, and ruined the pacing of their search for Prae but clearly couldn't be cut out... Glad at least they tied that back in and justified its existence, even if it made little to no sense (and even changed how Ken's color-blindness affected him, since what he said about colors in episodes 3 and 8 was completely different, and then in episode 10 it's back to being how it was explained in episode 3. So yeah, he just doesn't see red in episodes 3 and 10, and in 8 he sees in black, white and shades of gray.)
I never know if I should comment here or on the other one... Since the version that's airing is uncut, I guess this is the correct board, but it's much quieter than the other. -_-
I hate this villain, Krating; he's everything I'm most disgusted by, and I want him to get an appropriately bad ending instead of just being shot once and the end... What a piece of crap.
Pheem got baited too easily and wasted so many bullets! Annoying, especially knowing how much effort Bulan made in order to create them. -_-
I felt bad for the inspector with the tattoo. He didn't deserve that. Btw, I didn't expect annoying Suea to get affected by the weretiger enchantment or wtv Krating did. I already disliked him, but now I'm extra-sus...
Episode 6 was when everything I had been waiting for finally happened. Confrontation! Pictures and merch going down! Confessions! Kissing! Gossipy couple reveals! <3 I just really hope Wan told his sister the deets (both about Nine saying all that shit to him and jumping into the pool and about Third) offscreen so we don't waste time rehashing it next week.
Oh, and I'm gonna need Cher to slap the other manager ASAP!
