Im just curious, how will he return to hellbound 2 when his character has already supposedly died?
Have you seen S1 to its very end? It closes on a cliffhanger where they show the people who died in the beginning coming back to life, like Kim Shin-rok's character. It is highly likely his character will come back as well.
Hira is so frustrating to the point of being cruel, first to Kiyoi and ultimately to himself. Despite getting together, they actually are not and their dynamics barely moved from what we had in season 1. Hira still only has religious-like fascination towards Kiyoi and doesn't perceive him as a human, let alone begin to think of him as his boyfriend, and Kiyoi, well, he needs to work harder on his words and pride instead of expecting and waiting for Hira to understand his feelings and needs on his own. I'm not sure how this will work out between them but I'm here to see it to the end.
From the hints we got so far, it felt like Fumiya felt like Ritsu was taking him for granted and didn't appreciate…
Can we talk about Fumiya's reaction to Ritsu saying his face is beautiful? For a second, he had the entire galaxy in his eyes ready to give it all to Ritsu lol I think you might be right about him dedicating himself to the person he loves, probably at the expense of his own good. The actor is so good and I already feel drawn to Fumiya a little too much for a character I only had for just 20 minutes 😅 There will certainly be a critical point that will either make or break them but let's not think too much about it now hahah

That's my guess as well. It was a short scene but it already gave us a hint at what kind of issues they might be having. I thought it was such a good opening, showing enough to get us interested but not too much so we stay curious. It's too early to tell with certainty but Ritsu seems to be the cheerful type, maybe not taking things too seriously and, the way some artists can be, a little absorbed in his own world while Fumiya is the one more grounded to reality and the one in charge of keeping it together with the daily more mundane aspects in their life (he cooks, he cleans, he folds the laundary...). I can totally see how, without proper communication, their relationship can deteriorate over time as the initial spark of love progressively dims. I don't know, I would just love it if it wasn't anything dramatic, just a story about how love, while still there, needs effort on both sides to make a relationship work. Jdramas do this so well, simple stories about normal people that tug at one's heartstrings and I hope this one will do just that. This got embarrassingly long, I'm surprised by how many thoughts occupy my mind already from only one episode 😅
I don't know if Ritsu is faking the amnesia but I'm sure Fumiya is still very much in love with him, the look in his eyes doesn't lie. This makes me more curious to know what went wrong in their relationship for them to reach the point of (almost) break-up. The acting is good and there's a nice atmosphere while you watch, it has a realistic feel and I'm immediately into the story and the characters.
nooo same!! I've literally read a good chunk of the webtoon and in that process got super attached to the friend…
hahah no worries, i appreciate the added details you gave so thank you ^_^ i'm forever sad for sooho but who knows what might happen, nothing in final yet *fingers crossed*
I know this 1st season only covers the backstory but do the characters make an appearance at some point later in the story? Like do we ever see Soo-ho again? I just can't accept this is the end of it for them ðŸ˜
I think it implies 2 things , either someone has dispose the body to get rid of the case, or there was never a…
thank you for the replay and yup i've been thinking the same. i don't remember the exact date they showed but it was old and the case seems to have been closed back when the accident happened so maybe all that she said was made up to trick myeong-oh
Hwa-ryeong seems to have an interesting past from what we saw : her relationship with Cho-wol's mother (were they master and servant? were they friends?), how she seems to be protective of other women to the point of establishing that safe place (if I understood correctly) for women who are wronged by society, etc. I'm confused by something tho, why did it look like she lived outside the palace even when she was already selected as a crown princess and pregnant with the princes?
Seongnam was conceived during the period the late king died. Normally the dad is dead and the son (now king) is…
thanks for the explanation and it's kind of funny people might be more inclined to believe the queen cheated than to think the king simply sought solace in his wife and spent a night with her despite it being against the custom
