i think the chairman murdering pansul maybe is too much .... but he is really pissed right now and we know what…
She pretty much did tell him a few episodes back...after the engagement dinner went south I think? Not sure. It was when he sat down at the table and she said said something to the effect that she was better for him than Lucia etc...he looked disgusted and got up from the table. I would say that was her lowkey way of saying she cared about him.
Well, tbh, that scene didn't clear anything up for me because I don't believe that's the real reason he rejected…
But he had quit his job and as of that point, he hadn't found another. His father no longer had a job, so Ji Hyeok, I'm sure, felt the pressure to take on the main financial support role for the family. The easy life being offered was attractive I'm sure and maybe he was just tired of being disappointed and struggling with everything. I don't know...I know I'm rambling here...his behavior just seems confusing to me. He doesn't seem like the type of person to "sell out", so I guess I'm sorta like Eun O. I thought he was a certain type of person (from an integrity standpoint) and he's coming across as a different type of person.🤔
The only thing I feel confident with right now is what started our conversation...I don't believe he rejected Eun O because she is poor.

I think he did what he did marriage wise out of financial desperation. Big price to pay for financial freedom, and yes, you can view it as prostitution. I guess he thought he could go through with it and be willing to deal with regret later on.
For all those who were wondering why "they werent compatible here is your answer - and also a great description…
Well, tbh, that scene didn't clear anything up for me because I don't believe that's the real reason he rejected her. He might have been trying for the easy life with the contract marriage, but I don't believe he rejected Eun O because she is poor. I think there is another reason...yet to be revealed.
Right! Garlic smell will stay on the hands for days on end.It is pure torture to mop the floor with a piece of…
Yes, we can agree to disagree! I'm sure Lucia feels that she's here for revenge...not to make new friends...so she's only going to act with revenge in mind. Even though the revenge plan has not been the most robust, well-thought out plan.
For the poster...let's hope it gets cleared up sooner than that!😆

The manager is not an innocent bystander. She will take any opportunity she can to make Lucia look bad to the chairman and Lucia knows that. So Lucia's going to do it first. I'm not saying it won't backfire on Lucia...she's now got the entire household, excluding Se Ri, hating her. But they were never going to accept her anyway. So she's going the route of fear and intimidation. But Manager Gong, with Gyeong Chae at her back, is going to get bolder with her resistance.
If she ever runs across that poster...whew, it will get messy.
Yeon Ah needs to remember that she gave Manager Gong that poster and tell Lucia.
I think there could be consideration from both sides regarding the cafe space.
-Ji Hyeok while he has every right to be there, could have handled it better. It almost seemed like he was trying to provoke her. Given that he does/did care for her as a friend, he has to know that it would be upsetting. Just talking to her in a different manner would have worked better, maybe.
- Eun O has to learn to co-exist with Ji Hyeok. They have mutual friends and colleagues, so she will still see him all the time. He does have a right to be there if the owner gave him permission, so she can't have an attitude about it. If she can't or won't handle being in the same space with him (until he gets his own place), then she should quit...which she did. But don't use quitting as a threat.
Right now, there needs to be a lot of character growth for both of them before I see any chance of them being together. I just can't see it yet. There may be something dramatic that happens that will make them grow closer...
I'm frustrated with everybody!🤣
The stepmother is very scary. I don't know what her deal is... 1. Ironing her husband's underwear...🤣 2. How controlling she is with her daughter...it's frightening.
Seong Jae's dad- completely oblivious to what is going on around him and stepmom wants it that way.
Seong Jae - I still don't think he is a villian...but I do think he's decided that nothing is going to get in the way of what he wants. How far he takes it, we'll see.
Ji Hyeok's mom-I do feel sorry for her. Ji Hyeok's dad - I don't feel sorry for him. Ji Wan? - I like him more and more. I wasn't crazy about him at first. But I think he's growing up and I like him with Seong Jae's half sister. Ji Hyeok's sister - I don't like her at all.

It is ridiculous...it's not feasible that the tonic plan would work for an extended length of time (more than once or twice).

I still haven't finished watching ep 61 yet, I'm a little behind.
