Great series. Very mature. I complained about the lack of gayness, but not anymore. If they wanted to go for a mature and believable plot, Pisaeng had to be gay. Why else wouldn't he be interested in Pear? She is a beautiful girl, very nice, a good friend, they have a lot in common too. It's unrealistic that he is not a tiny bit attracted towards her, unless he is gay. That also explains why he felt so head over heals for Kawi. At this point I really really wonder how they will make Kawi fall in love with Piseang. Talking about Kawi I won't be as harsh regarding his sexuality. We will see. But Piseang had to be gay to make this plot work. So ... ππππ I really love the pace of the series and the plot is pretty unique, because I have no idea where this is going. Also Gawin's acting did convince me in this confession scene for the very first time. Favorite series at the moment.
The only complaint I have about those two: they are not gay enough. But let's see how their chemistry is developing. It's the same with actors like Ohm and Nanon, so straight, you can see it from a mile, especially Nanon. Forth is also an actor who is too straight to do BL, Gemini passes somehow. First and Khaotung, Off and Gun - those couples are pretty believable. Don't get me wrong, I really don't care much, their chemistry is very nice, but I would enjoy a tiny little more of gayness.
Honestly, who still hates the congress woman after this episode has no empathy. Her son dying in such an unfortunate way, the trauma they induced on her with that unnecessary harsh speech of Dr. Cha, where he scolded and threatened her, and still she came to her senses rather quickly and understood that her behavior is wrong. She even drove those injured to the hospital. Don't know how she managed that. I would vote for her.
Gurl sameee.. there havent been any good bls from gmmtv lately, the last one was not me. This series is the best…
I know. I just thought mentioning them in case you want to try them out or give them a second chance. I'm very disappointed in BL lately, but those series weren't that bad.
Honestly, the best thing about this almost-kiss was Krist's reaction. No putting your head to the side, no screaming, no over the top drama, just simple "don't". That was pretty mature. I like a mature series. The mood was nicely balanced out in this episode. The last one was a bit disappointing, because it was too silly. Kawi is the most charming, if we see his silly AND serious side.

My School president was pretty good, though. I didn't like it that much, because I'm a bit too old for those cute series, but the quality was top notch. Moonlight Chicken was also good. The first and only mature BL series I can think of, and with "mature" I mean it's not childish, I don't mean there are hot scenes. The Eclipse wasn't that bad either, at least they tried out something new. And First is always a delight to watch. Best GMMTV actor in my humble opinion.
I rewatched the last two episodes, but Cha Eun Jae is really something. Isn't she supposed to be around 30? How…
Btw if there is any favoritism going on than it's happening towards Cha Eun Jae. Just remember how Master Kim treated the female doctor in s1 who had PTSD.
No he not, you donβt understand why he doing it and thatβs why Master Kim picks him for a reason. Also stop…
Don't you think Kim Sabu needs a lesson too? In this season it's painfully obvious that he can't be a leader either. His doctors are too dependent on him, the whole hospital depends on him too much. So what will they do when he leaves since his sickness is progressing?
I rewatched the last two episodes, but Cha Eun Jae is really something. Isn't she supposed to be around 30? How can you lack any common sense? No idea what Seo Woo Jin sees in her. He is a pretty decent guy with strong morals, she on the other hand is a little bitchy girl with not much emotional or social intelligence, a bully even. I never liked her character, but since she means well most of the time you can't hate her either. Kang told her twice she should report the case to Master Kim. If she had done that, Master Kim would have told her if he can manage or not. So everyone is informed, and they will find a solution together. But that righteous little girl with her cute pouty lips just run away doing the surgery without anyone informing. She could at least told Kang straight to the face that she will leave. Nope. Incredible. So he didn't knew about her absence when he had to manage the incoming patients. And her cocky behavior! As she is needed and irreplaceable, so everything has to run like she wishes. Telling Kang she will decide about the patient's further treatment, when she was late and only got there when he finished all the work. No common sense, really. Don't get me started on the boycott ... terrible. No idea why Master Kim is so soft on her, especially since he looked incredible angry when he saw her in the operating room. She deserved a scolding.
I agree with you despite about Dr. Cha. He was only there to make Kim Sabu think more about the well-being of…
I hope for s4. With Dr. Kang entering the scene it feels like the beginning of a new season and not the end. No idea how they can wrap this up in 2 episodes.
Bringing Kang in was a brilliant idea. He is very similar to Kim Sabu from s1. What he said to Woojin that only Kim Sabu can be Kim Sabu was brilliant. That's the whole problem the younger doctors Woojin and Eunjae have to face: they look up too much to him, want to be like him. But they can't, and they shouldn't. While their relationship, especially between Woojin and Kim Sabu is like father-son, sice Woojin has no family, he is too dependent of him. Kang was never like that. I don't remember much of s1, but I remember how they clashed together, and how back then I thought Kim Sabu wasn't always right. It's the same again. How he manages the hospital isn't the best way. For him patients come always first, he is superhuman and will somehow manage. But not everyone is like him. They need new structures and new methods. Kang is the right guy for this. Not to mention he was right about everything until now. He makes Woojin and Eunjae look childish, stubborn and inexperienced. Woojin less than Eunjae, because Woojin was always a guy who adapts fast and isn't difficult to deal with. Kang isn't reckless at all or wanted to show off. He was always in contact with Kim Sabu. He just shouldn't overestimate his abilities and bring the people more together. That's something that Kim Sabu can do well.
Really i dont understand people they are talking as kdj is harsh i know his words are harsh but what he said is…
I agree with you despite about Dr. Cha. He was only there to make Kim Sabu think more about the well-being of the doctors. For Kim Sabu patients come first, always. But you shouldn't forget about the health of the doctors. SWJ for example is very dependent on Kim Sabu. He looks up to him, wants to be like him. That leaded to him hurting his hand and risking the end of his career. Kim Sabu is the superhero who saves the day, but many of his ways aren't 100% right or his work style isn't 100% effective. It works for him, but not for others. Kang was right about this. Dr. Cha put doctors first. That was a nice contrast and isn't per se wrong. He was too radical for my taste, but still he has a point.
I think some people are being a bit too harsh on Kawi's character. I understand that Kawi hurt Pisaeng but us…
The issue I have with the current plot, Kawi hurting Pisaeng: it happened too early. They should have build up their friendship/relationship more. After only two episodes it seems that Pisaeng is in love with Kawi. So what now? Kawi has no clue. Well, he got a clue from the kiss in the future. But his reaction was mostly funny, there was nothing emotional about it. I feel like Kawi will be in denial for a long time, and at the end he will give in. That's it. To make it short: I don't like how Pisaeng felt in love so fast, and Kawi feels nothing at this point. It would have been better if they developed a friendship/relationship at the same time, step after step. Then those scenes in Ep 3, where Kawi hurts Pisaeng, would have a bigger impact too, instead they just went down the comedy route. They can still build their relationship/feelings for each other, but most likely Kawi will be too busy chasing his dream girl until the very end when he finally understands his feelings. I hope the writers are more creative and come up with a more original plot than the one I fear they will give us.
Because the only "mature" BL I can think of was Moonlight Chicken.
