Love the series, and I'm impressed by the writing, but if they make Pisaeng the next Singto, I will be pissed. The goody two-shoes character Kongpob was unbearable to watch in Sotus. I just don't like it when one character is difficult and struggles, and the other one is overly patient and perfect and loving. Not sure if this is the result of a lack of creativity, or a conscious decision from the writer. Do they think they need a saint to balance out the more difficult character?
Still wondering how Kawi was able to mess up his good life so badly. That's an accomplishment by itself.
There must be a reason why he's been too good to be true. Remember the scene when Pisaeng thanked Kawi, and but…
I think we know what it was: Kawi helped him to master the courage to confess to his first male crush, and, even though he was rejected, they stayed friends. That apparently changed his life. In the first future travel he was drunk, was running from his wedding, and kissed Kawi desperately. Now he is chill about his feelings and his sexuality.
He has clearly isolated himself from people. I wouldn't exactly call it him chilling. He has always expressed…
I'm not saying that he is not suffering. I'm complaining about how they make him such a perfect Prince Charming. The moment Kawi appeared he was just happy, and everything seemed fine. Waiting for 8 years and still being in love with the same guy, who dated your friend for I don't know how long ... very masochistic.
Honestly, is nobody complaining about the writers portraying Piseang as Jesus? He is just too good to be true. Everyone is out there living a miserable life, and he is just chilling in his sandals and fishing while living in a van.
His dad did die twice on him. The second death was even more unacceptable as Kawi had the chance, the foresight…
I think the 2nd death would be much more acceptable, because this time he did everything he could, it was a miracle to get a good surgeon, emergency surgery too. This just means that it couldn't be helped, he didn't travel back in time to save his father, because his father can't be saved.
I think the main plot is here, that Kawi had to go back to befriend Pisaeng and later to become his boyfriend. That will make everyone's life better for some reason. They are the fated couple, lol.
This is the first BL that is not predictable at all - I never expected Kawi to become an alcoholic. What's the reason behind it? Does he have feelings for Pisaeng, so he was not ready to marry Pear? But he had friends, a career, a girlfriend, Max as his friend and manager - people are much worse off. Honestly, it takes something to mess up your life so badly when you got so much support. - I didn't expect Kwan and Not be a thing, Not two-timing ... ugh. I was rooting for him, maybe because he is a writer. I'm a writer myself, and well, writers aren't always good people ... sigh. - I wasn't expecting that preview with Kawi asking Pisaeng out. But apparently he understood that going after Pisaeng would change his life to the better. - I had a feeling his father will die anyway. That's the only thing I saw coming. - Judging from the preview, he will lose Pisaeng too somehow
Only complaint I have: they make Pisaeng the guy who is too good to be true, and Kawi the one who just messes up everything. With his gay outing they gave Pisaeng's character a bit more layers and depths, but if he is really that super great guy who waits 8 years for his crush to acknowledge his feelings ... well. Too good to be true.
Btw I'm still amazed how a change in hairstyle and clothes can make a MAN out of Kawi. In those white shorts he looked pretty bulky like he did in Sotus. As young Kawi he looks almost underweight, so fragile and tiny. Don't know how that works. They can't do that with Pisaeng or Pear or Max. They all look completely the same in present in future. Only Krist changes like a chameleon.
I was rooting for Knot and Pear. I wasn't expecting him to remain an asshole. But who knows? I wasn't expecting Kawi messing up his future that badly either when he had EVERYTHING (not his Dad, but friends, a career).
Finally, we are getting the haters!!! Wooohoo!!! That means, this series is really starting to get the attention…
Who hated Not Me? Why? Kinnporsche though ... hm. Weak plot and badly written characters who acted without any common sense. The sex scenes were the best thing about it, and that's sad, because they became lame later on too.
Well, I love angst. I'm more worried the general storytelling is going downhill. Ep 6-7 is always a turning point in GMMTV series. Bad Buddy, MSP, Eclipse were all better in the first half :(
I must admit I didn't saw it coming who was the culprit, and how and why that crime happened in the first place. I knew the detective didn't kill his own sister, but that was it.
Regarding Mouse I wasn't expecting such an ending either.
I think the issue is Krist is Busy AF right now. He has back to back schedules and has a few solo concerts lined…
"I feel like both GK have agreed to be lowkey about their CP" That's what I think, too. So all the talk about making those two a permanent CP ... They don't seem to want that either. It's also a problem with the fans. There are at least three interviews out there, I'm interested to watch, and none of them are available yet, from two I got some glimpses, but no subtitles yet, and nobody is uploading anything. Not to mention that you find hate towards Krist everywhere. It's a shame. So in the past days I was not fangirling over the series, but digging out Krist drama.
This series is honestly amazing and the chemistry is off the charts, but to me it's still not worth the nonsense…
He is not that young anymore. At this point, it would be best to ignore all the fan drama. He apparently had a lot of fun shooting this series. He shouldn't give people who hate him for no good reason the power to dictate his life.
One of the reasons that I love GawinKrist so much is because they are one of the few pairings that have all kinds…
They don't promote them as much as other couples. When I first saw Fourth and Gemini in MSP I knew they would make those two a permanent couple. Not sure about Krist and Gawin. I would love to see more of them, but there aren't many good BL scripts out there. I can't imagine them doing another BL just to please the fans.
