So Kawi was two-timing? Because when Kwan told him Not was two-timing, and he then talked to Pear, I honestly expected her to say "You're the same".
Just kidding. But it's all a mess.

All 3 of them are self-destructive, but some people just focus on the gay love story and have their BL googles on where Pisaeng and Kawi are destined to be with each other, have the perfect love, and everyone else is at fault, if they don't make it.
But in all honesty: Without Kawi going back in time, Pisaeng who is gay, would have still married a woman, which I think is a terrible thing to do.
So now he went back, and befriended Pisaeng, with the result that Pisaeng felt in love with him. Since Kawi was ignoring that love, Pisaeng still went after Pear, but called the wedding off last minute. Everything is a mess!
Next attempt! Kawi accepts Pisaengs love confession, even though he rejects him, but he helps him to be open about his sexuality. Better outcome for Pisaeng, but nobody else.
Then Pisaeng didn't let Kawi talk about the kiss, so they could have worked out their feelings. So this time it's Pisaeng's fault, that the love triangle is still not resolved.
Poor Pear ... what did she do wrong?

I wasn't sure if you talk about me, because I'm very critical, and don't miss a chance to sh*t on Piseang, lol. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy this series.
I make a living with novel writing, and my last novel gets so much hate ... sigh. But like my mother says: Even Jesus couldn't please everyone, otherwise they wouldn't have nailed him on the cross, lol.
It's not that serious when it comes to entertainment and writing: some people will hate it, some will love it. I'm used to getting lots of criticism and hate, that's why I always say those actors shouldn't bother so much about fan reactions. Do your best, and believe in your work. That's enough. This series has found it's audience too, though I'm not sure if it will be a big hit, it's not mainstream enough.

He must have known that for Pear he was the second choice, or even the third. After not getting Pisaeng AND Kawi, she now took what was left, lol.
They portray him as that big womanizer, but in the past it's all just big talk. He couldn't land with that girl at the bar, and everyone was laughing at him.
Sooooo ... who knows? When Pear committs to him early on ...
Still the problem with Kwan being in love with him remains.

Well, you can dislike characters and still think the storytelling is masterful. You can even think the storytelling is bad, but still appreciate how the writer was able to keep you on the edge of your seat.
I'm looking at To my Star 2 ... sigh.

The BL fandom sure is a problem. But hetero guys being offended when people think they are gay speaks indeed volumes. I personally would never be offended, I wouldn't think of it as harassment. It was the same for Singto, I assume, but he didn't snatch. That doesn't mean I condemn Krist's behavior. The community and fans are expecting everyone to celebrate gayness, which is stupid. I'm glad pride month is over. What are you proud of? Your sexuality? Nothing else to celebrate about you?
One thing he said that many took offence: Men don't watch gay scenes, he skips forward to the hetero scenes. That's true, though. Gay content is for hetero woman and gay people, not for hetero men. There are plenty of hetero woman thirsty for gay content and fighting for the LGBTQ community, but they can't take it to see girl on girl action. Hypocrisy much?
Back to Krist: Seeing how they promote this series, they aren't doing fan service, and it's clear they are only friends. They aren't even shippable in real life. I like the honesty and transparency, they are all adults who just do their job professionally, but you indeed can feel that he makes it clear he is not gay, which he has every right to do so.
My point: I see where the hate is coming from, even though it's completely blown out of proportion, and developed into some serious cyberbullying which is despicable, especially from people who think they are the good guys.

It's not the question if I believe those characters exist, I'm just not a fan of the victim mentality. You must move on in life. And there are many people on YT, Twitter and even here on MDL that wish for a Pisaeng in their life, and find the actions of that character romantic and beautiful.

I see the story. I talked about Kawi being at fault before. That's so obvious that I don't feel like pointing it out again. They are all at fault. Since there is the scene in the trailer, where Pisaeng tells Kawi he will leave for real this time, I have hope, they show some progress in his mindset. But him being so chill and smiling and fishing and living in a van and kissing Kawi despite all that mess ... well, like someone else pointed out ... have some self-respect. The last thing I would want to do is kissing that guy. But he decided to be Kawi's comfort zone. Hmmmm ....

Also, marrying a woman when you're gay, that's low ... Come on! That's really, really low. When that happened, we didn't know he was gay, we still thought he was only gay for Kawi like in so many other thai BL, but nope.

They are all very weak people. Pear hopping from one guy to the next, is also terrible. At this point, you wonder why they can't find someone outside of this "friend group", and just start anew, lol.

I think people were mad at the character. Arthit had issues with being gay, and Krist himself didn't seem to like it that so many thought he was gay in real life too.

lol, but Krist did an exceptional job in Sotus. Not a bad acted scene there, and he was only around 20 or so. I had no idea he was that young. So when the actor now appeared in BMF I thought he must be around 30. Nope.

After seeing the new future, I wonder if Kawi had it really that bad, all alone and being a subtitler, lol. I would want to go back to that! He became the much bigger loser now, despite being a successful singer.

I guess they needed someone who acts more emotional and vulnerable. The Mike-Pisaeng character was your typical top, full of himself, charming, flirty. The character in the trailer didn't have that much layers compared to the Gawin-Pisaeng we now have in the series.

I love the thought-provoking storytelling, but people praising Pisaeng is a bit worrisome.
He longs for a guy for almost a decade. A guy he only had a kiss with. He must know his constant presence in Kawi's life is causing problems in the Pear-Kawi relationship. If he doesn't know, he is just dense like hell. If he knows, what tells you that?
So since in this series every character has different layers (Pear can be passive-aggressive, Kawi can be mean and a coward, Not is just an asshole, Kwan apparently has no self-respect), I really hope, that they work with the Pisaeng character more. Past Pisaeng appears to be stronger. He doesn't take all of Kawi's bullshit, but then again, in the first future travel, he was marrying Pear, despite being gay! We should talk about that more. How did he think this would work out? Did he think he could ever make her happy? Dense like hell in that case again!
Those people are portrayed with many flaws, and that's great storytelling, but I start to have a hard time loving them. They are selfish and selfless at the same time. And Max is just in the middle, witnessing everything and showing a disgusted face. I relate to him the most, lol.
Kawi going back and dating Pisaeng, is the right thing to do. But what's with Pear then? I was rooting for Not, mostly because he is the only potential partner they introduced to us. But now the thing with Kwan ...? A happy ending for everyone doesn't seem possible at the moment.

100% agree. People think this is "romantic", it's worrisome.

? Weren't people praising Singto to the heavens and back? I remember how I thought from the very beginning Krist is doing a much better job, but nobody was praising him like Singto. Singto seemed to be a well established actor back then, and Krist came out of nowhere.

Nobody said that, I'm an introvert myself. He just comes across more lively lately, he seems to enjoy what he is doing, very chill and fun, also pretty cheeky.

Nobody talking about Krist breaking his rips while shooting the beach scene? Ouch! Gawin must have felt horrible.
